Wyndham Hoi An Royal Beachfront Resort & Villas Reviews

Great hotel with excellent service and delicious food! I originally booked a room without an ocean view because the app showed balcony photos overlooking a tropical forest. However, when we arrived, the actual view was quite disappointing : just some abandoned houses and construction (see the first two photos) 🥲 We mentioned this to the staff, and they kindly offered to show us other rooms in the same price range. The views still weren’t great, so we decided to pay a little extra to upgrade to a room with an ocean view , and it was absolutely worth it! The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. Big thanks to the staff for being so helpful and accommodating! Also, if you’re traveling with your loved one, I highly recommend trying their Romantic Dinner Night — it’s such a lovely experience 💗

We were here during one of the hardest time in Danang/Hoi An due to the rain and flood. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with arrangement of the rooms and transport. I’m so glad my first hotel was with them, extended another night here. Their restaurant serves amazing food too.

The rooms were beautiful with large comfortable beds and amazing views! Staff were polite and helpful! There were two large swimming pools to choose from. Local food was easy to find nearby, and downtown Hoi An was just a short taxi ride away. Food and drinks at the hotel were a bit expensive, but the overall experience was amazing!

Great location close to Hoi An and An Bang beach. Clean. Breakfast buffet service cancelled be improved - servers were quite aggressive in cleaning up, took away our full plates of food a couple times while we went to take our coffee, and also one time trying to take away my plate when I was still eating holding onto my fork with food halfway to my mouth, pretty crazy waitresses and waiters. Free shuttle to Hoi An was good but very restrictive, go-by-the-book services only one in the morning one in the afternoon and MUST BOOK 2 hrs ahead. Front desk staff was good especially evening front desk staff, friendly accommodating and professional.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Loved the swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful! The hotel is 20 minutes away from Hoi An ancient town.

I booked a night at this resort for our final evening in Hoi An, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The property is expansive, offering all the facilities and amenities one would expect from a 5-star resort. While the location is a bit removed from the center of town, it’s still accessible—using Grab, it typically took us around 20 minutes each way. Our children absolutely loved their time here; they swam in every pool and enjoyed all the playgrounds. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try out the private beach as it was simply too hot during our visit. The breakfast and dinner buffet were, in my opinion, average and featured much of the same selection as the in-room dining menu. One small issue: there were quite a few tiny black insects on our balcony. They didn’t get inside our room, so it wasn’t a major concern for us, but I mention it as it may be important to some guests. A notable observation was regarding the service. While the staff were polite and professional, I didn’t feel the warmth or proactive customer service I’ve experienced at other 5-star hotels and resorts. Typically, staff greet guests warmly and make helpful inquiries about their stay, but here, their approach seemed more reserved and task-focused. Despite these minor points, we were thoroughly satisfied with our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Nice resort that's right in front of the beach. It has great outdoor facilities, including big swimming pools, a spa, and a nice gym. I was a bit disappointed by the location and the room. It's great to be next to the beach, but there aren't any convenience stores, bars, or nice restaurants nearby. Although the room was spacious, it didn't have a proper shower. Just a bathtub with a showerhead. Beyond that, the bathroom was only separated to the bedroom by a curtain and the walls were quite thin so you could hear neighboring rooms. I had to hear a crying baby next to my room most days. I enjoyed spending time in the balcony though as it faced the beach. Overall it's a nice hotel but I feel it's not great value for money.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham and would recommend people to stay here if you are wanting a beach/resort destination that is close to Hoi an.  A few downsides were the breakfast food was average. Lots of options but quality was poor and most of it was cold. The fire alarms also went off three times within our five nights stay. Which is not their fault, but when it went off at 12am, it took them 11 minutes to turn off and I would expect it to be faster (someone smoking in the room). Lastly, we only had a bath in our room which is crazy so us. Didn’t realise that was even a thing so make sure you ask for a shower if you want a shower.  Overall we did enjoy though

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The two-bedroom villa with a private pool was spacious, luxurious, and beautifully designed, offering both comfort and privacy. The resort’s beachfront location provided stunning views, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. Everything exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and memorable getaway.

The resort amenities are fantastic for the price. I would definitely choose this resort again given the opportunity.

Nice and clean but too far from everything ... nothing within walking distance...grab or cab everywhere...and no fridge just a cooler which doesn't keep drinks cold so you have to buy them there...and at 180000 to 250000 dong for a beer it is a pure rip off...first resort ever been to where nobody is drinking a beer around the pool very sad..breakfast plenty of choice

Such a nice hotel! Beautiful and clean, the room was amazing with a sea view. There were lack of sunbeds on a beach, unfortunately we weren't able to woke at 6 am to reserve one, otherwise everything was great.

A mixed stay in Hoi An - the room was great, and breakfast was good. The swimming pools and beach areas are beautiful. However, the level of service in some aspets left a lot to be desired, and the consruction for hotel functions and events was loud and inapprorpaite next to the pool and beach areas, which for many travellers is a major draw.
