"The staff at this hotel is incredibly accommodating and friendly, with a special mention for the housekeeper who not only kept things tidy but also brightened my day with warm greetings and a welcoming smile. However, I did notice some dust behind the TV. On the positive side, the location is excellent, making it a great choice for solo travelers.
I was pleasantly situated near the bathhouse, which added to the overall convenience of the stay. However, it’s worth noting that I recommend against choosing a smoking room if you’re not a heavy smoker. The floor had a pervasive cigarette odor that was quite strong, and it felt like the scent clung to my clothes.
Overall, it’s a decent hotel experience."
"Dili is located at about the same distance from both the north and south exits of Fujisawa. You'll need to wait behind the station on the right, which takes at least six minutes to walk with a 24-inch suitcase. The hotel is otherwise decent, but the onsen is charged separately, which is understandable. The funny thing is, Ctrip didn't indicate on the hotel's booking page that this is a fee. It's 2,000 yen per person for 90 minutes, and mixed bathing is required. Swimsuits are available for rent if you don't have one, but they cost 1,000 yen per set. I reported the fact that the hotel's onsen wasn't listed as a separate fee, and Ctrip didn't mention it at all. While they responded quickly, I wasn't satisfied with the result. They said they didn't indicate it was free, but out of consideration and comfort, they offered to compensate me with 44 RMB per person (for a room with two people in a double room), for a total of 88 RMB.
Having stayed in so many hotels in Japan, I've always trusted Ctrip's basic service. I believe most people automatically assume that since a hotel has its own onsen, guests can use it for free, just paying a tax per person. I didn't expect this kind of trap, and it was clearly a trap Ctrip created themselves. When I first called to report the situation, they said they didn't understand it clearly and that it was clearly marked. Then, on the second call, they insisted they never said it was free! We strongly urge Ctrip to immediately indicate that this hotel charges for hot springs and stop ripping off other users who trust the Ctrip brand.
The prices and room types of surrounding hotels are similar. If they had known about the hot spring fee in advance, they would have considered accepting it. There are other options.
Please avoid this!"
"Sure! Here’s a concise and honest review based on your notes:
⸻
Among the four budget hotels I stayed at during my trip to Japan, this one ranked the lowest overall. The cleanliness was decent (4/5), but the staff service could really use improvement — they were not as attentive or helpful compared to other places. The breakfast was quite disappointing (2.5/5), with limited options and lacking in quality. While it served its purpose for a short stay, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again given better experiences elsewhere at a similar price point.

Let me know if you want a more polite, emotional, or formal tone!"
"Good
1. Free breakfast
2. Breakfast had lots of bread variety
3. Free drink machine (soft drinks & coffee w matcha latte!)
4. Have free amenities for you to take
5. Location is near station and lots of shops surrounding too
Neutral:
- 2x washing machine & dryer but because of their popularity, have to fight for a chance to use them
Bad
- can be quite confusing to get to if you don’t go from station but the surrounding shops"
"For a 2-diamond hotel, the experience exceeded expectations. We arrived in the morning, checked in, stored our luggage, and then returned to our room with our key card. It was incredibly convenient. The room was larger than expected, and the bathroom had three separate compartments, making it very convenient. As the hotel is relatively new, the cleanliness and amenities were excellent. Free coffee is available at the front desk, and you can also buy milk, bread, or sandwiches for a self-service breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located, less than a 200-meter walk from the Fujisawa Station exit, though there are a few turns to get there. It's recommended to use GPS. The hotel is located near the local business district, offering many dining options. There's a sashimi and tempura restaurant that's very good value and highly recommended.
Facilities: The hotel is relatively new. While there's no bottled water in the room, there is a water purifier.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: Located in the business district, yet quiet within the bustling area.
Service: Check-in and check-out are convenient, and the front desk offers free coffee."
"I had checked the reviews so I expected it to be a bit difficult, but I still had a hard time checking...but the instructions were easy to understand and the problem wasn't difficult to solve.
When I entered the room, I was bothered by a moldy smell coming from the shower curtain, but the air purifier and air conditioner were on so I didn't have to worry about it.
The stains on the walls were noticeable so I think they should have taken some measures to prevent it from feeling strange.
I think the location is great ^_^
I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity."
"Cleanliness is closer to 3.5 if you're being really picky because the shower walls could use a good wipe down & the bunk bed frame could be vacuumed. Overall though, pretty good.
The best part is the location! Right in the middle of a street of restaurants & souvenir shops next to the beach, next to a konbini, Shonan Monorail & train stations down the street, & Enoshima Island over the bridge.
The staff is very friendly & a couple of them speak English. Something to note, their wifi kept disconnecting for a few of the guests & I. The second thing I enjoyed most is the bottom floor being a cafe & staying guests get a discount. I really recommend the milkshakes & fried items!
I stayed in the female dormitory, both floors shared by all. I personally didn't feel unsafe. The main doors are locked at night & you could lock the dormitory door. The dormitory is right by the street so you will hear people & vehicles if that's something you're particular about. Lastly, don't forget to turn on the AC. Somehow, we forgot about it the first night & were sweating. I also opened the window because my bunk was further away from the AC & boxed up, both of which helped!
Overall, enjoyed my experience at Iza & will stay again when visiting Enoshima!"
"The location is incredibly convenient. While the room isn't large, it was spotlessly clean and, though compact, was perfectly equipped. For Japan, this size is actually quite good. I initially booked for just one night, planning to head to Tokyo the next day. However, Tokyo's prices were much higher, so I decided to extend my stay for an extra night here. The following morning, it only took about an hour and a half to reach Tokyo. Highly recommend!"
"Seriously one of the best places we’ve stayed at. Starting from before arrival already, with the gracious host providing tips and recommendations for places to visit close by! It’s clean, spacious, has a superb rooftop and the location is great!! Cannot recommend enough."
"It is very close to Fujisawa station with very reasonable price. Room was a bit small but that's understandable with the price and they will keep your luggages if you arrive their earlier than check-in time. I recommend this place and will stay here again if I plan to visit Kamakura again."

Amazing
MMihairuExcellent apartment. The owner of the house was very friendly and communicative. Apartment is well equiped. All works well. Sparkling clean.
Good location. 7 min to station. 5 min to ocean. Have supermarket nearby.
MM487286****The cleanest hotel I stayed in during this week in Japan. There was no dust at all. The view from the window was like the one in Figure 1. It was also very close to the station. There are also Daiso and 711 near the hotel. It was very convenient for eating and shopping.
GGuest UserI have enjoyed my stay at Super Hotel, very convenient choice for me to arrange a full-dat itinerary exploring Kamakura as the hotel is super close to the Fujisawa station
GGuest UserThe surrounding area is a residential area for locals. There are affordable prices in the living supermarket. Western-style Japanese restaurants can be selected. KFC also has it. There are also small shopping malls. The station is also very close. It is more convenient to eat, live and travel. It takes an hour to walk to the beach. You can walk through the local residents' residence 🏘️. It's also a kind of sightseeing.
GGuest UserThe room was absolutely tiny, maybe only 3 square meters. There wasn't even enough space to properly open my luggage. This has to be the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in – I was truly taken aback by how incredibly compact it was. To make matters worse, it was located in the basement, which made it feel stuffy and humid. While the air conditioning offered a bit of relief, it certainly didn't make the room comfortable.
ヤヤマゲンキララThe communication of the customer service was a business response.
Personally, when Chain's busy,
Other than that, I want you to be more friendly.
The special mention was that the breakfast was delicious. I didn't expect it
i'm surprised.
Of course, I don't think it's all handmade, but the taste and quality of the purchaser or ingredients were good. It seemed honestly delicious.
It is a morning meal, but there are other sets (nori ✖︎) and natto
You can eat curry.
900 yen is fluent with this. From the breakfast of the gyudon shop
It's always delicious.
It is recommended. We will use it again
Thank you 😊
AAaronThe location of this apartment is very close to enoshima island and the beaches which is a plus. There is a 7 eleven nearby.
The unpleasant part is I had issues finding parking initially. The ”road” that leads to the apartment building is also used by pedestrians so you have to drive very carefully and slow. There is no free parking. The nearest parking cost 2600 yen a day.
The bath towels provided are very small. There is no tap to fill up the bathtub so you have to use the shower head which is rather strange.
GGuest UserWe were there in April 2024. The condition of the premises is very good, clean. But the feeling of the premises is from the 60s of the last century. This is probably how it should be. For a very old hotel this is expected. The service is exaggeratedly perfect. We left the hotel for a walk and an employee immediately escorted us and offered to take umbrellas at the door on the way out. We came in from the street where it was raining and the administrator at the front desk ran when he saw us into the utility room and brought towels for our faces and hands to dry off. The maid, seeing us leaving the room with the child, immediately asked us to stay and within a minute brought a child’s yukata and children’s slippers. They called us for breakfast 5 minutes before the appointed time and warned that everything was ready. Breakfast is above all praise (national dishes), very varied and large comprehensive breakfast. We highly recommend it to those who want to get acquainted with a version of a national hotel - a ryokan.
GGuest UserI booked this for my friend, it has 2 beds.
Get off at Katase-Enoshima Station on the Odakyu Line and walk for 5-6 minutes.
The room size is quite good in Japan. Because I'm only staying for one night, I just need to take a shower and sleep.
The person who checked us in was a Japanese uncle who knew a little English and Chinese. For what he couldn't speak, he relied on a translator. After 9 o'clock, you need to bring a door card to enter and exit.
The hotel is very close to Enoshima, and it takes 10-15 minutes to get there through an underground passage.
Although the Caixia package booked on Ctrip does not include breakfast, the uncle in the store said that there would be breakfast the next morning. Each person had an egg (although it was taken out of the refrigerator, it tasted fresh) + a croissant + a sausage bun + a chocolate bun.
There is also a free coffee machine in the small hall on the first floor, and the staff will patiently teach you how to use it.
GGuest UserThe location is very convenient to Enoshima, and you can also store your luggage. I stayed for two days and went to Enoshima three times lol.
Very very good, met a lot of interesting people in the public space, great!! Will stay again!
