This hotel is a good choice for families - the location is perfect within walking distance to the ferry station and easy to explore with young kids. The rooms were spacious, very clean for our family, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic 😋 👌

The rooms are incredibly well-designed: clean, stylish, and thoughtfully laid out with smart controls, comfortable bedding, and all the amenities you'd expect from a premium hotel. Housekeeping maintained the room impeccably every day. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Dashatou Market, making it ideal for both business and shopping trips. There are plenty of local restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the area feels safe even late at night. Overall, CityNote Hotel delivered way beyond expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou or doing business at Dashatou Market

The best feature of this hotel is all the front desk staff! They will go for extra mile to assist you anything they can! The hotel lighting is very dark and I don’t like it much but the front staff make my stay very feel at home and very helpful! They make a big difference!

The ID is poor and it is like renovated as existing conditions. Breaksfast is same daily. 

The hotel is good for short term stays

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Upgraded our room for free (thanks a lot for that!). The hotel is located not far from Donghu metro station (around 10 minutes on foot), which is convenient. You can reach all the main attractions rather fast. The room is clean and well equipped, the breakfast was tasty. The only thing to mind is that the neighborhood is not too clean, but it's not the problem of the hotel itself. I would recommend you staying here, if you come to Guangzhou!

Hotel stay could be better but because of a leaky pipe that cause the toilet to overflow. Front desk was responsive and immediately change room for me. Location is not the easiest place to find located in a small quaint lane.

The hotel is quite good. Check-in was quick and hassle-free. The staff was very attentive and guided me to the front desk with a smile throughout the whole process. They also patiently introduced the surrounding tour routes and hotel facilities. They even remembered my casual mention of "looking for a quiet work area". There is a gym and laundry room on the second floor, both available 24 hours a day and free of charge. The stay experience was very good!
