Pros: Clean. Bar fridge works – remember to plug it in and turn the dial to “Low”. Very expensive tea blocks were provided (that even 5 star hotels in HK don’t give) Room serviced daily and provided 2 bottles of water daily. Music plays when the shower is turn on Pleasant staff at reception. Great location – Across from Guilin Railway Station, and direct public bus #22 to the Guilin West High Speed Raill that cost only Y1.80 on Alipay or Y2 cash. Tourist bus #1 also at the same bus stop around the corner 50m away. Lots of very reasonably priced eateries around. Breakfast buffet – very generous (see pictures) Communal front loader washing machine and dryer provided along with detergent! Also provide a clothes steaming cabinet. Tour desk on site offering tours of local attractions at good prices. Cons: Shower waste is blocked and poorly drains resulting in minor flooding. Shower water pressure is static (non adjustable) Ingrained cigarette smell in the non-smoking room. Guests openly smoke inside the lobby!!!!

Very nice, fresh, stylish hotel. All in Lavanda-vibe. Breakfast are excellent. English-speaking personnel. Hope will stay here if will be in Guanlin. Only one little minus - windows view.

The hotel is conveniently located near Guilin Station, making it super easy to explore the city. The service was fantastic. We had booked a standard room but were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was absolutely perfect for our family.

The hotel is conveniently located right opposite Guilin Station, easily accessible via a short underpass. The front desk staff provided excellent service, and the housekeeping team upstairs were also very attentive. They kept apologizing because I had checked in quite early and my room was still being cleaned. Upon check-out the next day, they even gave me a complimentary souvenir. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Guilin.

This was my second time staying at a Lavande Hotel. My previous experience at a Lavande in Enshi wasn't very satisfying, but this branch in Guilin was excellent. First off, it's incredibly close to Guilin Railway Station; you can reach it via a short underpass. If you have a lot of luggage, it might be easier to take a slightly longer route via the crosswalk. I booked for three nights, and the hotel kindly provided a complimentary room upgrade, making the room significantly more spacious. The bathroom featured a clever three-fixture design (separate areas for toilet, shower, and sink), complete with a magnifying makeup mirror. The room also had a refrigerator, and there's a laundry room on the 3rd floor which was practically empty in the afternoons. Truly, the facilities were top-notch. Elephant Trunk Hill Park is about a 30-minute walk away, and the hotel is also very close to the Tiexi area, where I enjoyed two truly authentic bowls of Guilin rice noodles. If I had to nitpick, the only two minor downsides were that the breakfast selection wasn't particularly extensive, and I could hear children talking outside the room in the mornings. However, all things considered, it far exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely book here again on my next trip to Guilin!

We were delighted to be upgraded from a standard twin room to a family room. They even thoughtfully prepared osmanthus honey jelly for our trip to Elephant Trunk Hill, though it wasn't overly sweet. The room was quite spacious – highly recommended! The hotel is also conveniently located near many attractions, and taxis are readily available.

As a brand chain hotel, the quality is consistently good. Its location directly opposite Guilin Station is incredibly convenient for travelers catching a train. The hotel facilities are decent, the bed is very spacious, and the front desk staff are professional. Although the room isn't large, it offers good value for the price.

We had a very comfortable stay with our child. We often choose this hotel chain when traveling, as we've found it in several cities. Its location is a huge plus: it's incredibly close to Guilin Station, just an underpass away from the exit. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was particularly impressive – clean and generously sized! We were upgraded to a family room, and it looked like the beds could be pushed together. The toilet was a smart toilet. Overall, I was satisfied. For those traveling with luggage, here's a useful tip: I exited the train station at ground level, turned right, then turned left onto Shanghai Road and walked back. This saved me from having to haul luggage up and down stairs.

A very satisfying trip overall. We stayed for three nights. While the room facilities weren't the most modern, the staff's attitude was exceptionally good. The maintenance and cleaning staff were highly efficient and did a thorough job. The staff were genuinely honest and helpful; they even recommended local eateries and advised us to dine at larger, reputable chain restaurants to avoid being overcharged. I didn't take any photos of the hotel itself, but during our stay in Guilin, we took a 3-star cruise on the Li River, visited the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and enjoyed delicious food at the recommended A Gan Restaurant. The overall experience was truly excellent. What truly sets this hotel apart is its prime location directly across from the train station. You don't even need a taxi; just cross the street, which is unbelievably convenient. Taxis in Guilin are also very affordable, rarely exceeding 10 RMB. Aside from the slightly hot weather, everything else was excellent.

Facilities: Well-equipped and fully functional, with excellent water pressure in the shower. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and tidy. Environment: The hotel was very quiet. It's conveniently located right opposite Guilin Station, easily accessible via an underground pedestrian passage. I highly recommend visiting Shijiayuan nearby for its excellent food options. Service: The front desk staff were exceptionally polite, especially two of the ladies. They provided attentive service and offered complimentary luggage storage.
