Jintai Hotel (Guilin Railway Station) Reviews

Basic accomodation in an old cramped neighbourhood. Good for one night. To get there from the high street, you cross a rugged parking lot. We identified the spot by the telephone number. The owner and his son utilize Chinese-English translator. No sink in the room. A way hotels looked in China in the 60s and 70s I imagine.

One of the most horrible things I've ever seen. The bathroom is extremely tight and there's no sink. No shutters in the bedroom and the most crazy thing is that they use bamboo to cover insects on the bed. Moreover there's always loudness in the building. The price for sure is ok but I don't recommend this place.

A good budget hotel for modest travelers, everything is very minimalistic, but there are the most necessary things, in the room there were even packaged shampoo and shower gel, dental kits, towels. universal socket. Wi-Fi works well, very nice hosts

It feels like an old Chinese hotel. It's reasonably priced and located in an old building. The cheapest room doesn't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan. The temperature and humidity are just right in spring and autumn, so you'll probably be able to stay comfortably, but in summer, from June to August, it's hot and the humidity exceeds 90%, so the room feels like a sauna. Therefore, be careful of heatstroke. The staff are friendly. Judging from the reviews, I think it's a popular choice for foreigners.

I had already booked two nights and thought the stay was okay, so I extended it for another night to save myself the hassle of moving my luggage. I didn't expect the price to be even cheaper. I wonder if the previous price can be lowered a bit. This is a very cost-effective hotel.

A true budget hotel. I was satisfied, but of course, you don't get luxury for that price. The biggest problem for me was the unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. Since there was no proper bathroom door, you could often smell it. Also, the only window faced the hallway, and you couldn't close it, making it difficult to sleep when someone was making noise in another room. It could have been a bit cleaner, but it was fine. The location is great, with many restaurants nearby, and it's easy to get to the sights and the train station. The owner was also nice.

Vintage hotel, the toilets in the private bathroom are reminiscent of prison toilets, but it's clean, the owners are extremely kind and it's probably the best way to see how the Chinese live. Considering the quality/price ratio I would have liked to give it 11 out of 10!

The price is affordable, the location is close to Guilin Station, and travel is convenient. The sheets and quilt covers are changed in time, and there is a separate bathroom where you can take a hot shower.

I stayed at this inn for around 25 RMB, but I don't think there's anywhere else in the world where you can find a private room with a toilet and hot shower at such a low price. It's close to Guilin Station, and it's in an alley close to a major road that's only a bus ride away from Guilin North. It's on the first floor, so you don't have to climb any stairs. However, there didn't seem to be many guests staying there, and I was worried about whether it was viable as a business. Of course, the facilities are minimal, but for this price and close to the center of the station, I recommend it if you want to stay in a private room at a low price. I'll definitely return to this inn.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in, with poor environment and sanitation, and the price is not cheap. The bathroom only has one stall without a sink, the windowsill is covered with dust, and the door lock is shaky.

The room is clean and tidy, small but fully equipped. The price is very affordable and the location is also OK.
