"I loved stay at this hotel. The services, facilities, and food were all great. My friend and I stayed here at the end of our trip to Vietnam and we decided that we will always end our trips at a relaxing hotel like this one. The staff was also so helpful. "1. Check-in is convenient, fast and friendly, and there is an underground parking lot;
2. The room environment is clean and the facilities are complete (there is a rooftop bar but it is not open, which does not affect the overall situation);
3. The location may not be very convenient, and there are government departments nearby, but there are markets, restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores within a 15-minute walk. It is a 20-minute drive from the bus station, a 10-minute drive from the railway station, a 30-minute drive from Haiphong Cat Bi Airport, and a 120-minute drive from Hanoi Noi Bai Airport.
4. There is a religious unit next to it, and religious activities are held at 6 am and 6 pm, which will have some noise impact."

"Stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend. The environment, room size, comfort, and facilities all offer excellent value for money. The only downside was the security outside the lobby—they often wouldn’t allow my family to use a motorbike to pick us up or help deliver our things. Even though the drop-off only takes about 10-20 seconds, the security would rush over to stop us immediately. Since most people in Haiphong use motorbikes, I don’t understand why the security is so strict. Have they considered that those arriving by motorbike could be hotel guests?"

"The best hotel I stayed in during my 10-day stay in Vietnam. The service staff was friendly, the apar**ent facilities were complete, and the location was excellent, close to a park, and there were a lot of people at night. There is a seafood restaurant 500 meters in front of the hotel, which is very good. You can eat as much as you want for 200 yuan."

"The hotel location is good, right near all the restaurants and massage etc.
The room was clean, and presented nicely.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - a particular mention to Annie who was a great help with transport and scooter hire. The cleaning staff were also very pleasant.
Only thing I would say for potential improvement, would be some muslie for breakfast.
I was also very pleased with complimentary daily laundry (1kg limit and small fee for extra).

The room has a huge bed, good bathroom. Cleaning service was good. Towels for the beach are provided. The breakfast was good and had a big enough variety (pancakes, bacon, egg, fried noodles and rice, pho, fruits and juices, …)
The extra services were also really helpful. We did laundry service (40k per Kilo), booked a scooter (100k per day), booked a day boat cruise for the bay and our bus back to Hanoi directly at the reception without any trouble.
The reception manager had good enough English and was really helpful. He gave us a cold drink when we arrived and gave us a short intro into the surroundings. We also got extra water and juice when we once waited in the lobby. Thanks!
Also the rest of the staf was friendly and helpful.
The also tried the best to support us: when we were not super happy with the boat tour (did not fully match the description) he dealt with the company and gave us a good discount. Also when we had the scooter only for a few hours, he gave us 50% off.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the View Point Anh Quan Hotel in Cat Ba, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the pier and close to Cat Co beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local attractions.
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with stunning views from both my balcony and the rooftop cafe. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was truly a highlight of my trip. The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me.
Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend View Point Anh Quan Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Cat Ba!

SShardaleI needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

GGuest UserThe room was amazing, the views from the balcony on 14th floor just stunning. There's a kitchen in the room, only for display as you will get fined for using even the microwave 😂 We had to ask for clean towels and water one day, because it had been forgotten when the room was made up. The hotel is HUGE so getting to and from the pool or open restaurant is a big trip, there's no way the kids could go anywhere on their own in this massive complex. The kids club is just a room, no club as such. The games in the kids club room are incredibly expensive so we didn't use at all.
The view from the third building restaurant is amazing if you get there early enough to get a window seat. The breakfast buffet is ok. When it gets busy though, the food keeps running out. There was one! Coffee pot for probably 400 people so you have to run back and forth across this massive restaurant to check if it's been refilled. We had buffet lunch once, which was very poor. For 1.7M VND you don't even get water to drink but have to buy separately and there are not many options for kids to eat. Again, the food ran out so you had to walk up and down several times to check if it's been replaced and dodge the crowds on the way. Not a very nice experience.
The hotel cannot help with bookings or suggestions for excursions unless you book their tours, which are wildly overpriced and few to choose from.
Hotel pools were amazing for our kids!
The stay was nice overall but we wouldn't go back to this hotel.

BBec TryonThe hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.
