Sub-par hotel that met the minimum requirements to reach '4-stars'. The bathroom didn't drain well and the pillows smelled of mould. The air-con temperature cannot be adjusted, only the fan speed. The journey to the gym and pool in itself is inefficient, requiring you to sign a form at reception (Ground floor), then having the staff accompany you to the lift so that they can scan their card to allow you access to the gym & pool floor (your own card does not allow access). Almost all signs (including the restaurant) is in Chinese.

Very spacious clean suite. Surprisingly comes with powder room. Bathroom with both shower and tub. Microwave and Nespresso. Added bonus they installed a filtered water sprout. I wish I had more time to enjoy those amenities. Location very convenient to Wan Chai station. Lastly, all my encounters with the staffs were met with efficiency with enthusiasm to make my travels easier. So nice of the staff and my appreciation. Must stay longer next time. Kudos to Trip.com for ease of booking and search this gem of a hotel through their app.

My stay at Regal Hong Kong Hotel was fantastic! 🏙️ Booking the executive room was a game changer, granting us access to the fabulous Executive Club Lounge, perfect for relaxing with tea or coffee during the day and savoring a selection of spirits, red, and white wines at night. 🍷 The room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning city views that made every moment special. 😍 The mini bar, refilled daily, was a delightful touch. The pool was refreshing and well maintained, and the gym had everything needed for a solid workout. 🏊♂️💪 Its prime location in Causeway Bay, just steps from the MTR, convenience stores, malls, and tons of restaurants, made exploring a breeze. Highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and convenient stay! 🌍 #RegalHongKong #CityEscape

I recently stayed at the Regal Hongkong Hotel in Causeway Bay and had an excellent experience. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a more luxurious room, which was spacious and offered stunning city views. The hotel's location is perfect for shopping and dining, making it easy to explore the vibrant area. The amenities, including the fitness center and pool, were top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring I felt welcome throughout my stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience and highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hong Kong!

First time staying here - the room is decent and clean. The bathroom is more spacious than average 4 star hotel. There are tables and a sofa which not a lot of 4 star hotel will provide. And the best part of my stay is the bed. It is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept by far among all the 4 star hotels I lived in. Overall speaking, trip ranked this as top 20 4-star hotel and I think this speaks for itself. A bit sad that the swimming pool is closed due to renovation. But amenities are great, there are gym room, swimming pool and even massage service.

We had a very pleasant and perfect stay at Dorsett Wanchai! Will definitely book this when we get back to Hongkong! We had a restful sleep after a long day touring around the city. The staff are friendly and nice. The hotel smells good and clean, with complete shower amenities. Lying in bed gives a very relaxing feels, can’t wait to go back here!

WE HAVE THE BEST 5 days and 4 nights at this Hotel! And i highly recommend it and we will definitely come back. It’s one of the nicest, comfiest, and cleanest room i’ve stayed in hongkong. The staff our friendly, helpful and very accomodating to our request. From the concierge whom i asked to print some document for me and even helping us getting a cab going to the airport early in the morning. The housekeeping staff who is always smiling greeting us warmly and the frontdesk staff who gave us the best view and granted our request during our checkin. The service was topnotch and a 5 star! Coming home to a clean and made up room after a long tiring day. (It’s a relief) thank you so much for giving us a memorable experience. We stayed at room 1206 and 1218 from May 26-30.

I recently stayed at the Rosedale Hotel in Hong Kong for two nights and found it to be a pleasant experience. The rooms are cozy and sufficient for a short stay. The bedding was clean, and the overall ambiance was comfortable. One of the standout features is its location. It’s approximately a 10 minute walk from the MTR Station, making it easy to navigate the city. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance to the Hong Kong Stadium, which was convenient for attending events. The area around the hotel is convenient, with two 7-Eleven stores nearby. There are also several restaurants in close proximity, offering a variety of dining options.

Reasonably clean but could tell the building was very old with a musty smell. You could say the decorations were quite vintage/old depending on how you look at it. Room was big for hk standards and staff was friendly. One thing to note is that they are cutting down on disposable amenities according to chinese regulations but some that are not provided can be bought from a vending machine in the gym. Wanted to buy a dental kit but the touchscreen pad said it was sold out although it was stocked.

Beautiful hotel at also very good location! I will start with location: hotel is placed at Wan chai and for all main attractions you can find bus if front of the hotel. Subway is also close, but when is raining you must walk 10min to subway station. So generally speaking who will use most of the times subway you must walk a bit, but for busses and general location it is very nice and good. Hotel room: We took deluxe room, and we were comfortable with 2 big luggages inside and baby stroller. Room is very nice and clean with nice view. Hotel maid was changing sheets often and kept room cleanness on a high level. Meals - Breakfast (7-10am): We didn't have breakfast included in room package, but hotel is offering to pay breakfast per person any time you want, which was suitable for us because we were active all day long, so sometimes we ate it, sometimes we skip it. Food is very nice, there are nice food and ingredients to eat. Breakfast is not best I had, for sure you will be full, but for us fits perfect to go out for exploring the city and not worrying for eating outside, because in HK most of the food places start working after 9-10am. General impression with hotel experience for us was 10/10

MMartin DavidThe rooms in this hotel are very noisy. Noise from elevators and air-conditioning as well as service noise from maintenance staff or kitchen functions at the back of the hotel are all highly noticeable in all the rooms I was offered to consider. I had asked for a quiet room when I booked and I repeated this preference when I checked in, and in spite of that, I was given a noisy room. Although the staff were polite when I pointed out that my room was unacceptable after the first night, it still took several rounds of viewings of almost identical rooms with the exact same amount of noise. No compensation for the inconvenience, or the bad night spent in the hotel, was offered, and based on this experience I don't think the price charged was reasonable. Showing me identical rooms when I complained about the noise seemed pretty weird, so it's possible that all the rooms in this hotel are very noisy, and therefore it may be that this hotel is more suitable for people with reduced hearing or who are used to sleeping in noisy environments. The picture shows the city view from the last room I tried

EEm LookI suggest upgrading the guest room door lock, as it requires slowly inserting and removing the room key card, which can be confusing for meor other guests and inconvenient when needing to visit reception for assistance. And thr ceiling light above the bed pillows flickers every 10 seconds, even when turned off, which is quite disruptive. I didn't ask for help as I was so drunk that night. Hmm there are also several other defects in the room actually. I recommend that the hotel manager and directors conduct a thorough walk-through to identify issues together, as relying solely on the cleaning team—who manage numerous rooms daily with only 15 minutes per room—may not suffice for quality improvements. Despite these issues, the room price is very reasonable. And I was with some other frds occupying around 10 other rooms and saying all good. So I still give a high rating overall. I was in 903 if I remember correctly

AAnonymous UserMy stay here was absolutely superb, and I must give this hotel a glowing review! Its location is a major highlight; it's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, with abundant dining and shopping options nearby, making it incredibly convenient for both travel and daily life. During check-in, the receptionist was incredibly efficient and genuinely friendly. They even proactively shared information about the hotel's amenities, which made me feel very welcome. The room itself was more spacious than expected and spotlessly clean. The bedding felt soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep. The bathroom featured well-designed wet/dry separation, hot water was immediate, and the pressure was perfect. Furthermore, the room's soundproofing was excellent; I heard no noise at night, which is absolutely crucial for a good stay. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering both Western and Chinese options, all delicious and catering to different preferences. Check-out was lightning-fast, and the entire process was incredibly smooth. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area. It offers outstanding value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!

SshtmpearlSimple but stylish hotel in the little cute area. We had dinner nearby. The neighbourhood is full of independent small restaurants. Hotel is fine but don’t know wheee to get drinking water which was not too happy (after calling front desk so many times without answering, we decided to buy water from 7-11). I think this can be improved by letting customers know in advance. Otherwise it’s too stressful 🥹

GGuest UserGreat location, Wan Chai station entrance is just a short walk across the street and there’s bus stop in front of hotel. To go to airport, you need to go to another bus stop which is also a short walk from the hotel and most importantly, mostly flat so no worries about walking with your large luggage on slope. Even though my room was located on low floor and right in front of the lift, it’s not noisy. Bed are comfortable but pillows are too flat/low, needed 2 pillows. Toiletries was not provided due to HK government policy to reduce carbon footprint and the staff does inform during the check in process so make sure to bring your own toothbrush toothpaste vanity kit shavers and shower cap. No bottle water provided but there are water dispenser on 19th floor for guests to fill your own water bottle. Mini fridge and kettle are provided. Generally pleasant stay with lots of good food nearby.

GGuest UserThe room was surprisingly big for Hong Kong, although definitely could be renovated. I was disappointed by the breakfast. You get to choose one option out of four and they are all kind of Chinese fast food, like instant noodles. Plus throwing menu to the guests tables is not very pleasing. The atmosphere during breakfast wasn’t good so I hurried to finish it and left. Didn’t even show up the rest of my stay.

GGuest UserThis is my 4th stay in a room on the 39th floor. Everything was fine before. Unfortunately, this time I had to spend a lot of time and nerves, which was not part of my plans. The pool on the 39th floor next to the room was used by a homeless person to spend the night. In addition, he smoked, shook ashes into the pool, and drank alcohol. All this happened on the only sun lounger. This is only what I saw passing by in the evening and at night. Unfortunately, the staff could not solve the problem the first time I asked and I had to ask for help at least 5 times. In the end, they offered me to act as a surveillance camera and if a homeless person appears, to inform them. Thank you very much. Of course, I understand the mentality of people in Hong Kong, but in China, I can hardly even imagine such a situation. I strongly advise against using this pool and staying on the top floor due to a serious security breach. Anyone from the street can enter your territory, since it is separated only by a low partition. My things were not in the room, but after entering the door. Unfortunately, after leaving, I discovered that a bottle of perfume was missing. The money and documents were in the safe, everything was fine with them. I think this is due to this person entering my territory. I closed the door to the room at night and the balcony. Perhaps this saved my valuables. In the middle of my vacation, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom. It was really gigantic. Thanks to the cleaning service. They were able to catch it and take it away. I hope the hotel management will take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of guests. Therefore, I will not give a bad rating to my favorite chain. I usually don't write reviews about hotels. And in such detail. But this time my wife made me write. She serves in the police and is very attentive to security issues. She said that she was very worried about having a stranger nearby. I think this is an exaggeration. She was probably offended that she was not congratulated on her birthday in this hotel, as she is used to in other hotels with a card or a compliment. She just happened to have a birthday when she checked in 😁😁😁

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Harbour Hella Inn for 2 weeks and overall, it was a unique experience. The hotel offers a modern and compact concept that is both practical and comfortable, making it suitable for both short and extended stays. One of the standout features of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the housekeeper. She was incredibly friendly and made sure I had fresh towels every day, which added a nice touch to the overall comfort of my stay. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful provision of house shoes—definitely a cozy bonus! The amenities available in the pod were quite convenient. Having a microwave and an electric stove made it easy to prepare simple meals, which is especially helpful for longer stays. The view from the hotel was another highlight; it was truly stunning and contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. However, I did encounter some issues during my stay. The customer service staff, while friendly, were slow to respond on WhatsApp, particularly during an unsettling incident involving a creepy man. It would have been reassuring to receive quicker assistance in that situation, as safety is a top priority for any guest. In summary, the hotel offers a unique and enjoyable experience with excellent housekeeping and nice amenities. Just be prepared for potential delays in customer service responsiveness. I would recommend it for those looking for a budget-friendly option with a great view, but I hope the management addresses the customer service aspect for future guests.
