Best Western Plus Amsterdam Airport Hotel Reviews

It's a pretty good hotel with a free airport shuttle, which is very convenient. However, when I had an early flight and asked the hotel to arrange a taxi, I found it was incredibly expensive – almost twice the price of an Uber.

I stayed for 2 nights at the Best Western – Amsterdam Airport Hotel. Positives: The shuttle bus to and from the airport was punctual and very convenient. The reception clerk was polite, professional, and made the check-in process smooth. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located near a bus stop, making it easy to explore the city by public transport. There’s a McDonald’s right next door for affordable late-night snacks. Negatives: I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door when I left my room around 11 a.m., but noticed it had been removed. I found it on a cleaning cart and put it back. I also informed the cleaning staff directly that I did not want my room cleaned, and they acknowledged my request. However, when I returned at 2 p.m., I discovered someone had entered the room—not to clean, but to leave a card stating it had been cleaned by “Marcus.” While nothing appeared disturbed, this disregard for my clear request felt like an invasion of privacy and was both disappointing and unnecessary. Additionally, I did not sleep well during either night of my stay. There was frequent noise from drunk guests in the hallways past midnight, and on both mornings, I was woken as early as 6:30 a.m. by loud door banging, as if someone was trying to wake up a heavy sleeper. While I understand that this is not entirely the hotel’s fault, it made the stay unpleasant and exhausting. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would choose this hotel again when transiting through Amsterdam.

Hotel has shuttle bus from airport.   It is about 10 mn distàce from schiphol. U can hear aircraft taking off. U can get free earplugs from reception.

Very close to the airport with a super convenient shuttle service. The room was surprisingly spacious for an airport hotel of its class, and we even got a complimentary welcome drink. Definitely a great stay, highly recommended! 👍

The general impression and service were both pretty average. Its location near the airport offers convenient transportation. The hotel itself felt very much like a typical Chinese budget chain, similar to a Home Inn. Overall, the experience was quite mediocre. On the bright side, the airport shuttle bus service was excellent!

Very nice room but bathroom smelt like sewage. Bed was amazing to sleep on.

Our stay at the hotel was an absolute nightmare. We had informed the hotel two days in advance that we would be arriving late — around 1:30 AM — due to our flight landing at 12:30 AM. I also specifically requested a room with a double bed. When we arrived, the shuttle service was unavailable as it stops running at 11:45 PM — something we were made aware of. Once at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. We waited for 40 minutes without any assistance until we had to call Trip.com customer service. Only after that did someone finally show up out of nowhere to hand us our room key. We were placed in a ground-floor room right in the middle of a busy passageway. The noise level was unbearable — I was woken up at 6 AM by loud hallway traffic, and to make matters worse, drilling from construction work started at 8:45 AM — on May 1st, a public holiday! In short, it was a disastrous night. We reported all of these issues during checkout, but the staff took no responsibility whatsoever. I strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

The best value for money hotel in Amsterdam. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly front desk. And very convenient free Airport shuttle bus. The hotel is situated in a quiet area. We had very comfortable sleep. A highly recommended place to stay in Hoofddrop Amsterdam. Travelling to Amsterdam central is also very convenient and accessible from this location.

This is what we were breathing in the room left from somebody else. Also breakfast one of the poorest in my entire life. Regarding cleaning no comment

Over all staying at the hotel is excellent, nice staff specially at the reception name Ronald I think, very accommodating, friendly and nice😁 Keep it up and Thank you. I like also that they have shuttle going to the airport picking up and dropping us off.
