Amazing
曾曾Gero Hongyekan Wanboting is really great! In Japan's three famous springs, Geroizumi, the service is very good. There is an open-air bath on the roof of a sister hotel, and there is a car to pick up and drop off at any time from 9 to 12 in the evening, which is very convenient. The water quality is so good, the sun that soaks up the skin will slide down when it falls on it. A wonderful hotel experience! The beauty at the front desk drove me out to buy urgently needed products when I was in an emergency. Every detail was great. The Japanese-style room was also spacious. I really like this place. I will definitely go again if I have a chance, and I will definitely stay here again. hotel. Breakfast is included, and the environment and ceremony are very beautiful! The hotel itself has indoor and outdoor hot springs. When it snows, get up early in the morning to soak in that outdoor hot spring, which is quiet and beautiful! Its sister pavilion has a very strange inclined elevator, and the hot spring water is the smoothest I have ever soaked in.
AAshauk88One of our best stays during my time in Japan! The staff were very friendly. She shared with us where we should go for onsen, dinner and places to visit. Breakfast was simple but very hearty. We are touched that they considered our food restrictions and adjusted accordingly. Very thoughtful! We could also use the yucata and jacket to walk around town. Love this experience very much! The onsen is also lovely. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again. P.s they don't have yamato service if you need to deliver your baggage.
설설렝I chose this hotel to relax after trekking with a friend, and it made for a perfect trip! I was worried about getting around because it seemed remote, but they provided pick-up and drop-off service, so it wasn't a problem at all. The food was delicious, the room was spacious, and the hot springs were wonderful. The staff were also very friendly, which I appreciated.
Ssjf1986aaaIt is a sister hotel with Fugaku next door. Before we even got to the door, the old man of the hotel came over to confirm whether we were staying. The names of the people matched. When we left, the old man was waiting for us at the door very early. When we went out for a walk, he also thoughtfully prepared a map for us. The service of the older generation of Japanese is really amazing. There is a special room for breakfast and dinner, which tastes good. There is a private bath in the room. Open the window to the outdoor private bath. Hehe, there are several hot springs upstairs and downstairs. My wife took a bath three times a day and soaked in all the hot springs. Gero is not big, so it is suitable for a leisurely stroll for half a day, eating some snacks, returning to the hotel to taste food, watch the snow, and take a bath.
GGuest UserThe hotel is settled in the middle of Gero Hot Spring town, short walk from the train station and can also be reached via bus from Kamikochi area.
The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. You can feel the spirit of older times in this hotel with a lot of beautifully selected decoration pieces.
The manager showed us around and even offered us a new room since I accidentally booked one without shower (we declined that offer since we only wanted to stay for one night). That’s why we used the Onsen area for showering which is beautiful and includes all amenities. View above Gero and including an outside Onsen area to watch the sunrise.
The staff was very friendly, the manager even drove us to the bus station since we forgot our jackets in the bus. The bar is well-equipped and a great place for a drink or two.
One of the best parts was the breakfast. Never had such a good Japanese breakfast before- delicious, served in a private room, beautifully arranged. Next time we want to try their dinner :-)
We felt like family and I can recommend anyone going to Gero to stay at this great hotel! Thanks again for your hospitality!
GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the river, a little distance from the Gerv Hot Spring Street, the gate is closed at 6 pm, it is not convenient to enter the door, the dinner is actually Western food, not very delicious, the double room is a 150 bed, friends travel is not convenient, 2000+ room rate is not recommended to live here, hot springs are OK, It is the most cost-effective hotel on this trip to Japan.
DDonovan_lIt was a comfortable, family-run Ryokan style inn. There is free parking for those who drive. It is also walking distance from the train station. We arrived after dark and the staff told us there was no more dinner, so they recommended us a dinner place nearby.
For breakfast which was included, it was a full set and really delicious Japanese platter. We ate to our heart’s content. The onsen is located on the basement and the 4th floor, I like it specially for the rooftop onsen. The men and women onsen will swap at certain timings to allow each gender to enjoy the facilities at the rooftop. They give clear instructions on a piece of paper, and you just need to look at the colour of the cloth hanging outside the onsen. The hotel is located near the town centre, so you can walk around easily.
GGuest UserAn average quality onsen hotel in Gero. Not the best type but also better than many. It is a matter of one's choice in spending more money for better choices or not, as the price range in Gero can be 100% difference for the best and those with much lower price. All onsen are old in the hardware facilities, but traditional.
GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are old, the hot spring experience is average, it feels like it is just because of the Gero Onsen, otherwise the hotel is not worth the price, the hot spring water is really slippery, Gero's cost performance is not very high, except for the rich
CCHI WAIThe hotel is located on Mt. Gero, and you have to take the hotel shuttle bus to get there. However, because the hotel is in the mountains, you can overlook the scenery of Gero. The hotel does not have many hot spring facilities, but the hotel's brunch is very rich, which is similar to other hotels in Oedo Onsen Monogatari.
