I don't usually leave reviews, but the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong truly deserves one. The hotel's convenient location is a given. We stayed here for three days, and the attentive service truly left a lasting impression. The front desk staff who handled our check-in were incredibly warm and welcoming. Upon seeing we had a child, they proactively offered a small gift and thoughtfully asked if we needed an extra bed. Every time we stepped out, the housekeeping staff greeted us with a smile, which always started our day on a positive note. The room was also impeccably tidy, with even our charging cables neatly coiled. Our child left an umbrella in the lobby, and a male staff member from lost and found patiently spent over ten minutes helping us look for it, for which I felt quite apologetic. The hotel breakfast was also excellent and plentiful, with high-quality ingredients. As we were leaving, our child said they definitely want to stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

The service was great, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. We were able to store our luggage upon check-in.
Cleanliness: Okay.
Location: A bit far from the MTR station, but conveniently close to Tsim Sha Tsui.
Facilities: The room was a bit on the small side, but otherwise everything else was fine.
Executive Lounge Buffet Afternoon Tea: Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try it.

I came to Hong Kong to see 'The Great Lawyer' and 'Yi Yi'. With other hotels being quite expensive, this one offered a reasonable price, so I decided to book it. I admit I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but my experience turned out to be excellent.
The hotel isn't far from Tin Hau MTR station. Be aware that Gaode Maps (Amap) might direct you through small alleys; it's simpler to just walk along the main road for a bit before using navigation.
The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. While the room was compact, it was spotlessly clean and felt quite new, which is a big plus for Hong Kong hotels. They provided both soft and firm pillows. There was a slight, faint buzzing sound from the bedside strip light, but it wasn't disruptive at all.
All in all, it offers excellent value for money. And on a side note, 'The Great Lawyer' musical was absolutely fantastic – I really feel it marks a new high for Chinese musicals, combining both innovation and cultural tradition. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Beautiful, new hotel with large, clean rooms. I got upgraded (maybe because it's my first stay here?) and the room was huge; 2 bathrooms! There is a great supermarket on the 15th floor, and many coffee shops in the Hopewell Mall. My only compaint would be the elevators: you need to take one to the lobby on the 19th floor, then a different one to your room. Both are packed and take a long time. Otherwise a fantastic stay.

A Truly Reliable Hotel
My family and I have just returned from our fifth stay at the Regal Hotel Kowloon, and it consistently exceeds our expectations. It has firmly become our go-to home whenever we're in Hong Kong.
First and foremost, the value for money is outstanding. In a city known for its compact spaces, the rooms at the Regal are surprisingly spacious and always well-appointed. You truly get more room to relax compared to other hotels in this category.
What truly makes the Regal special, however, is its people. The staff are exemplary in their professionalism and courtesy. From the housekeeping team to the porters, everyone offers a warm and polite greeting. A special commendation must go to the Front Desk staff—they are efficient, incredibly helpful, and always have a solution-ready attitude that makes check-in and any queries a complete breeze.
The location is another massive win. You are immersed in a vibrant local neighbourhood with a fantastic array of authentic Hong Kong restaurants right on your doorstep. And when you're ready for some retail therapy, the prime shopping districts are just a short and pleasant walk away, making it the perfect base to explore from.

This place gave me unforgettable emotions of joy, delicious breakfast, a beautiful pool, hammam and sauna, a beautiful view from the bar, where I spent an amazing evening, the hostess asked strange questions, maybe she was tired? Why the hostess asked about visiting the bar, she was not happy with me, she was interested in whether I was a hotel guest, I could not sit by the window either because priority guests could sit there, but the waiters were very nice,👍🏻 He cheered me up and allowed me to take a picture of my wine by the window.
A great choice to visit Hong Kong🇭🇰❤️

The hotel rooms come equipped with universal power adapters, which is very convenient for charging and using electronics. The TV channel selection was much more extensive than at another hotel I recently stayed in. The staff were friendly, polite, and quick to assist with any questions. Additionally, the transportation links are excellent; it's easy to catch the airport shuttle bus nearby. For those using the Airport Express, the nearby Wan Chai MTR station provides a convenient connection. Overall, it's a hotel that offers excellent value for money.

iclub Fortress Hill is a great choice if you want a modern, no-frills stay in Hong Kong. The location is excellent—just a few minutes from the MTR and surrounded by local cafés and shops, yet quieter than busy Central.
Rooms are compact but bright, with smart layouts and large windows that make them feel more spacious. The design is minimalist, and while amenities are basic, the free coffee, tea, and light breakfast at the iLounge are a nice touch. Staff are friendly and efficient, and Wi-Fi works well throughout.
It’s not luxury—expect snug rooms and limited extras—but for travelers who value convenience, cleanliness, and good value in a prime location, iclub Fortress Hill is a solid pick.

Facilities: A bit dated, but still offered a decent experience.
Cleanliness: Overall acceptable, though the water supply was unexpectedly cut off in the middle of the night. The hotel explained they were replacing 'dirty water,' which was a bit unsettling.
Location: Excellent, situated right at Langham Place.
Service: Excellent!
Executive Club Privileges: A great spot to unwind after a tiring day of exploring.
Ming Court Wine Cellar Tasting Class: Did not attend.
Poolside Tai Chi Class: Did not attend.
Breakfast: I genuinely believe it's the best hotel buffet in Hong Kong!

The hotel itself felt a bit dated and didn't quite live up to my expectations. However, its location is excellent, and the service was good. Miramar Plaza is right outside the hotel's doorstep, and Harbour City is also very close. The Avenue of Stars and the Star Ferry are within easy walking distance too. You can also find several century-old restaurants nearby. It's a reasonable option depending on your budget. If you're looking for a better ambiance, the Prince Hotel might be a superior choice.

Very Good
WWWWwangingThis trip, we (a friend, kids, and I) were heading to Hong Kong Disneyland and wanted a room in the city with a bit more space. Ctrip suggested this hotel, and it turned out to be surprisingly good! The 1.5m bed was perfectly sufficient for two adults and a child.
**Transportation Tip:** Take the MTR! Mong Kok East station is super convenient, connecting directly to the shopping mall – much easier than taking a bus. We even got caught in a Signal 8 typhoon, so we ended up spending more time exploring the mall.
**Facilities:** Very new and well-maintained.
**Service:** A big shout-out to the lovely lady at the front desk during check-in! She was incredibly friendly and even chatted with us.
Definitely booking here again for our next visit to Hong Kong!
PPeteGLocated in a convenient location for exhibition and entertainment. Access easy by MTR and buses. Reasonable price and good size room for two. Would recommended for other friends and families.
GGuest UserThe hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check in before noon. I was even upgraded to a room with a fantastic, expansive view. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained, with the added bonus of being able to prepare simple meals – a huge plus! The night view was absolutely stunning, and the location couldn't be better. It's just a 6-minute walk to the Victoria Peak Tram and a quick 10 minutes to the Central business district. The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens are conveniently located right downstairs, and the lush greenery viewed from the window was incredibly soothing.
YYazeed ZolkifliThe hotel is easily accessible and the nearest to the exhibition i am attending to, just a five-minute shuttle bus ride from the airport, and runs every 15 minutes, making it extremely convenient for transit. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the hotel was clean and comfortable overall. However, because it's Hong Kong, there are no smoking areas within the building.
SSuvrajit PaulWe stayed there 3 nights during our HK trip and had a great experience. The location is a good advantage, you will have bus, tram just in 2-3 minutes walk. MTR is also very nearby. rooms were neat and clean, very small though but thats how it is in entire HK. I highly recommend staying here for good connectivity. We also requested for a high floor with nice view and it was given, the view was really great from the room.
Feedback on improvement: To be honest, we did not like the buffet breakfast as they serve the same dish every single day, first day it was ok but we were bored from next day onwards with the options as it was the same thing for 3 consecutive days, I suggest hotel management to look into it and improve.
99966xiangI pre-booked a sea-view suite and even went so far as to email the hotel with detailed explanations and specific requests. However, this hotel clearly doesn't care about its guests! I particularly felt there was a subtle discrimination against mainland Chinese guests. Firstly, they never respond to any online reviews, and secondly, all mainland guests seem to be assigned to lower floors. Despite the hotel having over 400 rooms, and my prior request via email for a high-floor room, the front desk staff completely disregarded my request. They flat-out refused, stating that only rooms on the fifth floor were available. The entire check-in experience was extremely unpleasant.
The bed linens were acceptable, but the in-room amenities like shower gel, shampoo, and towels were of extremely poor quality! Even when I and other guests went to the self-service vending machine on the first floor to purchase disposable toiletries, those were also terrible, low-quality products! It's almost as if they think mainland guests have no money, but these are products we simply wouldn't use! Hong Kong hotels need to seriously reflect on their approach; mainland guests are becoming more discerning and expect higher quality standards.
An honest assessment: The hotel management *must* change its mindset! They can no longer serve mainland guests with such an attitude and outdated thinking. I recall an old promotional advertisement for Hong Kong's service industry starring Andy Lau; to quote a line from it: 'In this day and age, such service simply won't do!'
Note: I haven't uploaded any unflattering photos. I truly hope the hotel management undergoes a fundamental change in their attitude and philosophy.
GGuest UserLocated at Wan Chai, one of the main living area at island.
Since it was operated by renovation of old house, there are no evaluator at main living building and reception is actually ground floor of building nearby, but they try the best to make them connected by rooftops as public garden and bridge.
They make very effective use for space, as there is a pillar at the middle of single room. anyway I think it is good enough for daily lives and the price.
Recommended, if you do not need too much space with luxurious.
Wish coming here again!
GGuest UserReasonably clean but could tell the building was very old with a musty smell. You could say the decorations were quite vintage/old depending on how you look at it. Room was big for hk standards and staff was friendly. One thing to note is that they are cutting down on disposable amenities according to chinese regulations but some that are not provided can be bought from a vending machine in the gym. Wanted to buy a dental kit but the touchscreen pad said it was sold out although it was stocked.
GGuest UserThe hotel was easy to locate, near the bus station terminal as well. The room we book is good for two persons, though the view we have is more of a cargo view with sea. The only problem we have is there is no enough plug.
There is only one so we have problem charging every gadgets we have coz of this dilemma. I just hope they added more.
Overall the receptionist we’re welcoming and we had a nice stay at their hotel.
