Loved my room…loved how clean everything was…and the cleaning lady was so friendly…all the staff were really great except that very little English was spoken. I wished I could have stayed longer! Plus it’s close to all the markets where I could get all kinds of foods.  I highly recommend it! 

Our room was very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel's location was also excellent. We visited the nearby Patriotic Memorial Bridge and Monument, and learned about the history of the adjacent Panlong River, which made the experience very meaningful and memorable.

The hotel is centrally located next to the pedestrian walk which has a lot of shopping and food. Will stay there again.

This was our second hotel in Kunming. Compared to the dazzling variety of unique guesthouses, an established star-rated hotel often doesn't stand out as much. My husband even echoed my thoughts, saying, 'Let's just go with this one.' At first, I felt that paying over 600 RMB here didn't quite offer the same value or 'Instagrammable' charm as a 500+ RMB guesthouse, and it lacked anything truly special. However, for business travelers or anyone needing a truly good night's sleep, it's an excellent choice. The double-glazed windows provide superb soundproofing, and the hotel's service, bedding, and attention to detail are all quite commendable. I wouldn't recommend it for a leisure trip, though, as there isn't much to explore in the nearby old streets. For hotel visuals, it's best to check their official photos, as I only took a couple of quick snaps.

We booked two suites, and one of them was absolutely filled with cigarette smoke; the smell was so overwhelming it made me dizzy. I called the front desk, and they informed me that the hotel was fully booked for the day, so the only thing they could offer was a 'smoke-free treatment.' I said, 'Okay, please go ahead with it.' A short while later, a staff member came and simply removed the two ashtrays from the room.

Of the three hotels I stayed at in Kunming this trip, this one was undoubtedly my top pick. I was thoroughly impressed with its service, ambiance, and prime location. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, were incredibly courteous, and the entire property was spotlessly clean. It offers exceptional value for money, truly setting itself apart from other hotels in the same price bracket. My stay here was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely be choosing this hotel again on my next visit to the area! (My only regret is that my travel plans only allowed for a one-night stay 🥹)

The room was very clean, and the bed was quite spacious by Kunming standards, easily accommodating three people. The location was also excellent. We stayed for 6 days, and I was disappointed that, unlike most hotels that offer at least one complimentary breakfast, they only provided breakfast for one person for a single day, and even then, it had to be for a child. This policy felt quite stingy and definitely lacked generosity.

I booked this hotel before departing Kunming, primarily for its superb central location, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. Situated near Nanping Street, it's within easy walking distance of various downtown shopping and commercial areas. The building itself appears quite old; despite renovations, the interior layout still feels somewhat dated. I booked a suite, which included complimentary welcome fruit and afternoon tea. While there is an executive lounge, its selection was rather limited, offering only light snacks and beverages. Breakfast was quite extensive and tasty. Although the room wasn't exceptionally large, it felt reasonably spacious for a suite. We encountered a minor issue during check-in, which was promptly resolved. However, the service could definitely use some training. I'm unsure if the staff were simply busy or if it was a general lack of enthusiasm, but they certainly didn't come across as warm or attentive.

The hotel is centrally located, just about a ten-minute walk from the old town. The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, and overall environment were excellent, with impeccable service. The executive suite also included complimentary drinks, fruit, and snacks. The hotel's elevators are impressively fast, and the breakfast buffet offers an extensive and varied selection.

I highly recommend this hotel in downtown Kunming! From the moment I arrived, the bellhop was incredibly enthusiastic and helped me with my luggage – I'd never experienced such genuine warmth from a high-end hotel before. The front desk staff were equally welcoming and quickly processed our check-in. The hotel itself was spotless. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the thoughtful bathtub design, complete with grab bars, was a fantastic detail. We also received complimentary welcome gifts and fresh fruit. Every single aspect felt carefully considered and showed great attention to detail.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's incredibly convenient for exploring Kunming Old Street, Nanping Pedestrian Street, and Cuihu Lake (Green Lake). The evenings are quite lively in the area, and finding food is a breeze. While the hotel is a bit dated, it's well-maintained and very clean. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

I was genuinely impressed! For the price, it's incredibly good value. The location is super convenient, within walking distance to South Wall Street and Old Street, and there are plenty of fantastic dining options nearby. The service was impeccable – staff were attentive, helping with luggage and opening doors. The hotel itself is quite grand and offers excellent value for money. I was traveling with my parents, and they absolutely loved it and found their stay very comfortable.

This hotel offers decent value for money in downtown Kunming. However, the fruit knife provided in the fruit platter in our family room was dangerously sharp; a child could easily get hurt with it. Other five-star hotels I've stayed at typically provide safer, less sharp table knives (from Western cutlery sets). Furthermore, the room's soundproofing was terrible. A group staying in the two adjacent rooms kept coming and going, making noise and running around past 1 AM, which woke me up twice. While my previous stays here have been pleasant, this particular visit was quite disappointing.

Breakfast: Very good, with a wide variety of options, and the food was good. Location: Very convenient, with plenty of places to explore nearby. Accommodation: Upon checking into room 130, I noticed the air conditioning wasn't working – there was no airflow, making the room very hot. I called the front desk three times within two hours. The first time, I requested a technician, but no one showed up. The second call, I was told it was being repaired and the AC would be fully functional in half an hour. On the third call, a technician finally came and confirmed there was a very weak airflow, but the room was still warm. I couldn't accept sweating even after a shower while just sitting in the room. I went downstairs to speak with a concierge or manager, and they eventually moved me to a different room where the air conditioning worked properly. The room photos matched those on the official website. It was also clean and had no strange odors. Curiously, after I switched rooms and went out to Kunming Old Street, I returned to find complimentary snacks and fruit added to the table. While this gesture was appreciated, I was concerned that no one informed me or left a note about someone entering my room in my absence. Overall, it was an acceptable stay. My children had a great time, especially with the kids' meal and play area on the second floor. The staff were very polite, though their efficiency was a bit slow. For a hotel of this size, it was a little disappointing that issues couldn't be resolved more promptly.
