"The location was fantastic, very close to the train station and the subway. What's even better is that, unlike many German hotels, this one had air conditioning that worked perfectly all day. Plus, there was complimentary coffee and water in the lobby. For the price, this hotel is truly excellent!"
"The room was clean and tidy, and came with a mini-kitchen. The hotel is located in a new area and is very new itself. There's a supermarket and a bakery within a 5-minute walk. There's paid parking available on-site for €18 per night. The room rate was reasonable. There's also a laundry room on the ground floor."
"Hotel super bem localizado: transporte público que leva até o centro da cidade praticamente na porta, supermercado do outro lado da rua. Quarto confortável, limpo, roupa de cama e banho super limpas.
Uma acomodação prática e que eu recomendaria 😊"
"Unfortunately, the stay began with an irritating greeting at the reception. In the sense it was said that a holiday in Freiburg at this season is not worthwhile and a bad idea. This statement was not very invited and I therefore did not visit the reception again.
The bedrooms are very small and are not adequately equipped for hostels. There was a particular problem with cleanness: There was clearly visible dust on almost all surfaces, so you didn't want to put anything on. The bed linen also showed a stick that strengthened the impression of lack of hygiene. The conductive water had a very unpleasant smell in the first seconds, which was also irritating.
The sleeping comfort left over a lot of desires. The mattresses are very thin and are only on simple wooden plates instead of on a lattice rust. Releasing sleep is hardly possible under these conditions; back pain is almost pre-programmed.
The prices for drinks are much above the usual level and are about twice as high as in the supermarket. The fact that a company has to work economically is understandable, but the amount of the surcharges does not seem appropriate anymore.
Positively emphasise the central position and the optical design of the plant, which is attractive at first sight. Unfortunately, it is a sense that the focus has been strongly placed on the outer appearance, while fundamental aspects such as cleanliness and sleep quality have been neglected.
In general, the price-performance ratio is not in my view correct. Unfortunately, an attractive optical approach cannot compensate for the above structural and hygienic deficiencies."
"The hotel truly lives up to its name as a new element hotel; the rooms have high ceilings and spacious layouts, and the toilets are divided into two separate stalls. The value for money is exceptional. The hotel reception was very friendly, and they fulfilled my request for a higher floor. I even asked the hotel for cutlery when I ate. I've stayed in hotels in Frankfurt and Heidelberg, Germany, that were more expensive and worse. This hotel..."
"We only stayed one night at this hotel, but it was wonderful! Being able to check into our room at 1 p.m. after a horrendous train journey with a 2.5-hour delay was fantastic!
The rooms are small but extremely functional, and nothing is lacking! There's even a small refrigerator!
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! Our only slight criticism is that we might have liked a few more Black Forest specialties at the breakfast buffet! But that's really nitpicking; otherwise, everything was of excellent quality and plentiful! We'd love to come back!"
"It's a clean and reliable brand, so I stay often.
However, I was disappointed to see that the parking fee was expensive and that the car was leaving without paying the parking fee."
"The hotel itself isn't bad, but the staff are a different story. I booked and confirmed for two adults and one child. However, upon arrival, they insisted I had only booked for two people and made me pay extra for the child. When checking out, they tried to charge me even more, claiming I'd received an 'upgrade' out of nowhere. That wasn't true; I just got the room I originally booked. So, this Hampton by Hilton hotel is a one-time thing, never again! Horrible people."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserHotel is near Freiburg (Breisgau) Hbf, only a 5 mins walk away. There are also supermarkets, cafes and restaurants along the street downstairs which is convenient. If you take about a 10mins walk, you will reach the main shopping area of Freiburg which has interesting artisanal shops, cafe, restaurants which were nice.
The hotel itself is quite new and feels modern. Room is clean and spacious, with a nice view of the courtyard. Water is only complimentary for the first batch (2 cartons were given) and it is chargeable subsequently. Overall, it was a good stay!

Good recommendation by staff thx
AAlanNovakI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Boutiquehotel am Stadtgarten! ✨ The hotel was spotlessly clean, the location was perfect—right in the heart of the city with easy access to everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of my stay was taken care of. The amenities were top-notch, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment of my trip. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
GGuest UserGreat stay and very good breakfast. Everything was excellent but my bed was alittle too hard for me. May be suitable for others. Other than that exceptional service at the desk. The man gave a very warm welcome and spoke well in English 🏴. Would recommend.
MMichaelxuThe hotel front desk is not very friendly to yellow skin, the hotel facilities are average, the breakfast is expensive and simple, and it is not recommended to add breakfast. There are many restaurants and bars nearby, and it is convenient to eat and shop.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located about 4.5 km from Freiburg, but is very easy to reach. There's a bus stop right outside. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful, but due to a lack of staff, it was quickly cleared out and only refilled later. This wasn't particularly pleasant, even though many tables were occupied. The rooms are large, very clean, and tidied daily. There's even a small refrigerator and a safe. Since there's no air conditioning, the room has a large fan. It cooled the room well, but the noise at night was disturbing while sleeping. But all in all, we were very satisfied and can still recommend this aging hotel.
GGuest UserNice staff, room very clean, easy to access and at affordable price. Window and door are a little thin and you can hear noiser guests and the near bell tower. I will come back.
FfcklThe room is quite far from the city center and is very small. It was difficult for two people to open both suitcases. The hallway had a strange smell. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. The front desk staff were friendly. Just remember that bus route 22 to the city center doesn't run on Sundays; you'll have to take a taxi!
