Although it is located far from the city, there are several convenience stores and restaurants nearby so it is not inconvenient.
The parking lot is spacious and the rooms are clean.

Apart from the water supply issue in the room, the rest are perfect. The breakfast was good, and the night views from the hotel was spectacular. The water supply in the room was too slow, and I had to go to the public bathroom for brushing teeth. The staff offered to upgrade us to another room, but we don't like the 2 single beds room so we decided to stay in the one King bedroom that we reserved.

3 Used in one room, one was like a simple bed, so the person who hit it felt poor, but 💦 Other than that, I was able to spend comfortably. I didn't know there was something curry at night ... ⇦ If you go straight to the hotel normally, you would have been in time for the offer time.
I stopped by shopping malls and convenience stores for dinner and lost curry.
Only the guests of this hotel could enter the public bath of a nearby hotel for free, but I knew it (remembered) with the poster posted in the hotel, and the next morning 🤭
No, maybe I read it in detail and reviews when I made a hotel reservation, but I completely forgot ... I lost the large communal bath 💦 I am very satisfied with the price! And the very kind and polite foreign staff took care of me.
I want to go to curry revenge again at night.
Oh, and breakfast (there is also a drink bar)
It's free ... It was so delicious ‼️
One thing to say is that it would have been better if the outlet in the room was on each bedside or there was an extension code for lending 〜
The outlet was only near the cot 1 place ... inconvenient

Great
KKTKXFirst time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price!
1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not.
2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning.
3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F.
4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price.
Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊
GGuest UserQuiet location but still only minutes from station and shops. We stayed for an extended period as visiting family and Stayed in a twin room which is a very good size. Plenty of room to ‘live’ . Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good, great choices and all very fresh. The breakfast area being used as a ‘lounge’ with free drinks from 2-8pm was very useful. Cannot speak highly enough of our stay.
One very minor thing, is that there is no room safe so if you feel the need to lock valuables away they have to be deposited with reception.
Would highly recommend Richmond Hotel.
Dda vidGreat location, right between Himeji Castle and Himeji Station. It's just one block from Himeji Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. The hotel is surrounded by shopping and dining areas, including popular old coffee shops and oden restaurants. Himeji Castle is also only about a 6-7 minute walk away, and you can enjoy it just by looking at it from the outside. The hotel is very new, and the rooms are a decent size (by Japanese hotel standards).
MMK LohBreakfast buffet ( included in the hotel price) is very delicious with many varieties, especially freshly squeezed fruit, vegetable juice, fruits like apples, pineapples, mangoes which were not available in my previous hotel at Toyoko Inn at Fukuyama.
However, my only problem was my knee issue ( chronic joints pain) as it was a bit difficult due to pain to get onto the elevated bathroom in the room.
GGuest UserNice capsule hotel, the entrance is not very obvious. The only downside is the thin mattress, sleeping on the side is a bit uncomfortable but on the back its ok. You have a lock for your luggage right in front of your bed and a small locker inside the capsule so it was very convenient in that aspect.
AAlashanmengIt's an 8-minute walk from the JR station. The proprietress is enthusiastic and has a good family atmosphere. It's surrounded by commercial streets. It's very close to Himeji Old Town and a 5-minute walk. It's suitable for solo travel.
GGuest UserThe outstanding feature of this hotel is the balcony on the roof, which has a fantastic view of the castle, equally amazing in the daylight or after dark. The hotel is clean and modern, and the staff is friendly. It's also extremely close to the castle and beside a long covered shopping gallery, with many stores. (This would also be very convenient if it was raining.)
GGuest UserLocation is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues.
The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided.
To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when we got there so it was nice. There's a windowsill which allows you to peek inside the soaking area so that was funny. If you're with your spouse it wouldn't matter though.
CcchayyThe hotel is located near the station, it's then possible that you could hear the sound of trains pass by. Room was clean, size is ok for a solo. There're 2 options for dinner and you can choose when getting a coupon at the reception
GGuest UserThe building was extremely old and poorly lit; the reception area, the guest rooms everything felt dim and gloomy. The room slippers were not disposable, which I found unhygienic, so I couldn't bring myself to wear them. Since my room was located right near the elevator, I could clearly hear the sounds of people walking in the hallway; furthermore, even while inside my room, the conversations from neighboring guest rooms were so loud that I couldn't get any sleep at night.
What are the best hotels near Mount Shosha Ropeway with pools?
When summer arrives, there’s nothing like a family trip to Mount Shosha Ropeway in Himeji to make the most of sunny days. Yumenoi (from US$ 87) is a popular hotel with a pool, great for cooling down after a fun day out.
