A 5-minute walk from Shimbashi Station. Close to the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Ginza, and more, this hotel is extremely convenient for sightseeing in Tokyo. It's also close to Tokyo Tower and located along the JR Yamanote Line, making travel very easy. The room type is a mixed-gender dormitory room.

Located in Shimbashi Station, Minato Ward, it's only about 1km from Tokyo Tower. Shimbashi Station offers incredibly convenient access to Shibuya and Shinjuku. There's also a smoking room, the hygiene is decent, and the facilities are comprehensive. They have coin-operated washing machines and a large public area with a microwave and a refrigerator. The toilet even comes with sanitary pads. A FamilyMart convenience store is just a few steps away, and there are vending machines right outside the entrance. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Tokyo.

I've travelled to many parts of Japan for over a decade and in terms of ”a comfortable hotel with no complaints”, this is it for me. No complaints but I do have a small feedback which is to have the breakfast start at 6 or 6.30am for early/business travellers to be able to grab a bite before they can go about their day. Other than that, the room was comfortable and big enough for a small side sofa by the window, there were spaces to open a medium sized cargo bag, the amenities were sufficient and so were the Eco-friendly initiatives (room service, bamboo in place of plastic items), etc. There was also a decent humidifier provided during winter (but that was not enough for me who comes from the tropics), I had my own small humidifier too and still it was kind of dry (not a hotel problem). The view coming up the elevator and at the lobby was majorly impressive - boasting a skyline of both Tokyo Tower against Mt Fuji in the distance; during sunset, it was such a sight to behold. The lobby is big and has lots of rest/seating areas with some small amount of drinks provided from 5am to 10pm and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The service staff were impressive - knowing a wide range of languages and when they did not, remained unfazed and used translation tools. They were all polite, helpful and the F&B members too, made you feel like you were in some high-end restaurant. The artwork was also very nice to observe all over and if I have the chance to afford this hotel again, I'd do it in a snap. Other important notes are that there is a convenience store at B2 of the same building. Level 3 is a bridge that links you directly to Yurikamome line monorail -and a little further, to the Asakusa and Ginza lines from there. The Ginza honten (main store) Don Quijote is also a 10 to 15 minute walk from there and so are many local eateries (5 min walk) and shopping areas (Carote, 10 to 15mins walk).

The hotel will change its breakfast menu and prices starting from May 13th (Monday). Our staff highly recommends our automatically baked pancakes, which can be enjoyed with maple syrup or jam. ※Starting from the breakfast on May 13th, Japanese-style breakfast will no longer be provided. With a stay at Tokyu Stay Shimbashi (Ginza area) in Tokyo (Minato), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Kabuki-za Theatre and Tsukiji Outer Market. Conveniently located near Shinbashi, with plenty of dining options. The best feature of Tokyu Stay is having a washing machine in the room, which is super handy, especially for those who like to do laundry frequently.

This is such a nice hotel to stay at. Location is in a nice, quite area. Not far from the central located Tokyo Station. Bus stop is just a few meters walk from the hotel. The staff in general is very friendly and helpful. If you tell them something they take you serious with every request. Breakfast is nice but very Japanese style with a great view from the top of the building. Only the breakfast times is very short and early from 7-9 am. Also the nearest Metro station is almost 1 km from the hotel but it is what it is. I would definitely stay again in this hotel if I get the chance.

The location is quite close to Shimbashi Station, but it's still a 5-6 minute walk. It's not particularly close to the center of Ginza; walking there takes about the same amount of time as taking public transportation. However, it's very close to Don Quijote! Most of the good restaurants in this area are near the station, in Yurakucho and Shimbashi. The room is a bit small; we could barely open two suitcases. The best part is the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the large bathtub. It was very comfortable to soak in it every day after coming back. The soundproofing in the room was also quite good; we hardly heard any noise.

The hotel is located in Higashi-Ginza. After exiting the subway, it's about a 5-10 minute walk. Along the way, you'll pass well-known hotels like Mitsui Garden and Marriott properties. This particular hotel is on a smaller side street, but it's still quite easy to find. Our twin beds were pushed together, which was perfect for a family with children. I was surprised and impressed by the Japanese design of the bathroom, where the shower, toilet, and vanity were all separated – very practical indeed. The room size was adequate. Perhaps because we arrived late, we were given a room on the 3rd floor and told there were no higher floors available. The hotel only has two elevators, and the lobby is on the 2nd floor, which can be awkward during peak times as the elevator from the 3rd floor must stop on the 2nd floor first. We sometimes had to wait a long time for an elevator, and you can't take the stairs directly from the 3rd floor to the 1st, which was a bit time-consuming. We didn't book breakfast at the hotel, as there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs and a FamilyMart about 20 meters away. We ended up getting most of our breakfast from these two convenience stores for our 3-day stay. The hotel isn't far from Ginza, which is very vibrant at night. When we returned late, we'd usually walk back from Ginza Station, taking our time and browsing the shops. Common drugstores are plentiful near the hotel, many with Chinese-speaking staff. Major brand stores in Ginza are also conveniently clustered together, so you can easily find your preferred luxury items. With some discounts, the exchange rate worked out to about 4.3 (RMB to JPY, assuming context). However, popular attractions like Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo Skytree are a bit further away. In summary, if you're coming to Tokyo primarily for shopping, this hotel is a good option. It offers great value for money in the Ginza area.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel with my daughter. We stayed here for ten days and received wonderful hospitality. Our room was perfect for us and was stocked with pjs, slippers, waters, tea, toothbrush and other items that were nice to have. We loved using the Onsen and it even had shower heads from Refa which were wonderful. I asked about tattoos and they said no problem! The TV tells you if the bath is occupied, although I don’t think this is actually accurate. However, it was usually quiet and we were mostly in there alone. The hotel has a really nice sitting area on the second floor by reception which we used on our last day to hang out before catching the limousine bus back to NRT airport…it also has a luggage scale which was essential with all the shopping! The limousine bus has a stop right across the street at the Marriott making it a convenient location to get to and from the airport. It was a short walk to many konbinis, shopping, and restaurants. I always felt safe walking around the area with my daughter, even at night. It was also convenient to take public transit as it’s only a short walk to various metro stations. Overall my daughter and I both loved our stay at this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone heading to Tokyo!

The room has a view of Tokyo Tower. Separation of wet and dry areas. Large space. You can see the Tokyo Skytree downstairs, and it is very convenient to take a boat tour. Several boats are boarded downstairs. Transportation is also convenient, and the Seagull U Line is right at the door. There is a supermarket across the street downstairs. It is very quiet. The hotel also provides hot springs, and the staff has a good service attitude. Next time, try the Japanese-style room

The room was a bit small, but it had all the essential amenities. The bathroom was quite tiny, and it would be cramped for two people. If you want a Tokyo Tower view room, make sure to book the room type shown with the Tokyo Tower in the picture and request 'tower view' in your notes. During the May Day holiday, the Tokyo Tower lights shut off at midnight. Breakfast was a bit pricey, costing an additional 150 or 190 per person (can't quite remember the exact amount), but the variety was excellent, and the freshly made cheese scrambled eggs were delicious. You can see the Tokyo Tower from the breakfast restaurant. The lobby is beautiful, and they offer luggage storage on both check-in and check-out days. The staff were all very friendly.

GGuest UserThe twin rooms all face JR Station. We were initially given a room on the fifth floor, and it was so noisy we couldn't sleep at all. After telling the front desk, they kindly moved us to the eleventh floor, which we really appreciate. There's still a faint train noise, but it doesn't disturb our rest. Overall, the location is great and convenient for getting around.

GGuest UserQuite a disappointing stay. I initially thought it was a Dormy Inn because the first characters of the name were the same, and it was also a hot spring hotel, which made it very confusing. The service here was a world apart from Dormy Inn. The room was incredibly small. The breakfast in the pictures looked very rich, and I thought it would be a lavish buffet, but it turned out to be just a bento box, and they didn't even provide cutlery. The price wasn't cheap either. It really ruined my mood. The hot spring was also tiny, and they didn't even provide hair dryers in the hot spring area.

MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob). Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn. They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park. However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay: 1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around. 2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.

BBuchadianshenghuoThe hotel's location was excellent, and the rooms were very spacious, exceeding my expectations. The hotel was immaculately clean, truly spotless. Each floor has six rooms that share a common lounge area. After each use, staff would come to clean it thoroughly, restoring it to its pristine condition, which was incredibly thoughtful. Every staff member at the hotel was extremely kind and friendly. I particularly loved the rooftop hot spring; after a soak, they even provided ice-cold milk, which was a lovely touch. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

GGuest UserHere's a review of a hotel located in the heart of Akasaka, offering easy access to two subway lines. It's a quiet business-boutique hotel with more spacious rooms than similar establishments, making it ideal for commuting to the city center or exploring Roppongi/Akasaka. **Key Highlights (Reasons to Choose This Hotel):** 1. **Dual Subway Access + Central Akasaka – Convenient for Anywhere:** * Approximately a 4-minute walk to Akasaka Station and a 6-minute walk to Tameike-Sanno Station, covering multiple lines for easy access to Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Tokyo Station. Haneda Airport is about 45-60 minutes away. * Within walking distance of Roppongi, Tokyo Midtown, and Akasaka Sacas, boasting vibrant shopping and dining areas. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located downstairs, making daily life easy. * The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a better option for rest compared to Shinjuku or Shibuya. 2. **More Spacious and Well-Designed Rooms Than Other Japanese Hotels in the Same Category:** * Standard rooms are approximately 15-18 sqm, larger than most business hotels in Tokyo, allowing two large suitcases to be opened without feeling cramped. * Comfortable bedding with memory foam/low-rebound pillows. Bathrooms feature bathtubs and smart toilets, with stable water pressure and temperature. Amenities are comprehensive. * Good natural light, with most rooms feeling bright and airy. Cleanliness is up to Japanese standards. 3. **Practical Facilities, Suitable for Long Stays/Families:** * A coin-operated laundry room is available on the 12th floor (washing 300 JPY/drying 100 JPY), and microwaves are on multiple floors, friendly for long-term guests. * A small, complimentary gym on the 3rd floor is a bonus for business travelers or fitness enthusiasts. * Cribs/children's amenities can be arranged, making it family-friendly. The front desk offers multilingual service, with fluent English, and handles luggage storage/package receiving efficiently. 4. **Consistent Service, Thoughtful Details:** * The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional, responding quickly. Small items like chargers and hair straighteners can be borrowed, with some guests reporting feeling 'valued'. * Free high-speed Wi-Fi is stable. Some periods offer guidance.

GGuest UserI liked this place. A pretty standard classic capsule hotel: sizeable capsule with a console, daily turnover service, large shower and onsen room with an attached steam room. Service was good: they have an army of twinks working there after hours, it was like being checked in by BTS. All issues I had with my capsule (broken lightbulb) were addressed quickly and cheerfully. Sometimes it kinda seemed like they were laughing at a few of the foreign guests, but you know what, fair. This place is kinda rules heavy, with lots of notices posted around the property. There is no eating or drinking in the capsules, and instead you have to go to this common area that feels a bit like a hospice for abandoned uncles. Vending machines, manga library, smoking cubicles, that sorta thing. Clean and tidy though, equal numbers of dudes using it for remote working and day drinking (I have a feeling that some ppl live in this place). They have the usual elaborate system of lockers and keys, but they will store your luggage for you while you are out. No need to check out in the day. Overall a chill experience. While I was staying there though some dude did have a mini breakdown about what he saw as it's shortcomings, so I just wanted to comment on that. According to him the place was disgusting. He was especially perturbed by the housekeeping service and the showers. His claim was the the toilets were dirty and that it was unacceptable to fold bedsheets on the floor. Mind you, he was having this rant at 10:30 - checkout is at 10:00, meaning that a whole stampede of airport-bound weebs had just taken spicy ramen fuelled power dumps so they could get out of there on time. Most of the day the facilities were pretty spotless in my opinion. In regards to folding the bedsheets on the floor, I dunno what in the Disney princess he was expecting, but there really isn't anywhere else to do it. I think it's unreasonable to expect little doves to come fly your linens into your capsule tbh. The capsules are literally on... the floor! What do you want? His overall complaint that the space was generally messy was a lot more valid. At this point I had a suspicion that they kind of segregated foreigners from Japanese customers. It's true, that the foreign floor was a bit of a tip - luggage thrown around, empty bottles everywhere, garbage. I went up to the Japanese floors to snoop around a bit. Spotless. (Pictures of both included for comparison) In this case I think the call is coming from inside the capsule, not really fair to hold the staff accountable to your own messy manners. His final gripe was about the showers - specifically the lack of private cubicles. Private cubicles were not advertised anywhere and Japanese onsens are pretty standardly communal spaces, so again I dunno what he wanted. Maybe a shower, with a curtain? Maybe a shower with a door? Maybe a shower with a psychic forcefield that would make his ex girlfriends forget his underwhelming junk and prevent his father from behind disappointed in him? I'm not sure. But I guess the dozen shower stations with soap, shampoo, and face wash weren't cutting it. In fact a lot of the Western guests seemed pretty pranged out by the shower situation, waiting until like two am to wash up and then scurrying around the baths with a hand towel infront of their package like a little purse. If you regret going bald, that's on you. Kinda silly, but if you are bashful maybe this also isn't the hotel for you. Unreasonable though to blame the establishment for you own shame. Anyway, that's all to say the worst part of my stay was for sure the ranting and raving from an unshowered backpacker while I was trying to have a lie in. Otherwise a pretty decent stay.

GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at the 9h nine hours Akasaka. The pods were comfortable and clean and the location was very convenient. However, the common space for eating was really small. The locker space was very crammed. They also won’t store your luggage after you check out so if you’re planning to do something on between the check-out and your flight/train you need to take your luggage outside.

GGuest UserEasy 6-7min walk to Keisei-Ueno (Skyliner) station and Ueno station. Main and Annex blocks. Single room SUPER SMALL. Unable to fully open clam-shell suitcase on the floor. Have to place it on “foldable” table.  HUGE Pillar about 70cmx70cm occupies 1 corner of the room. Widest path between bed and wall about 80 cm.
