"Good location and stone away from the attraction site. Many cafe and restaurants around. In fact, just outside the hotel. It will be better to book the suite room that come with a good view. I was amazing by the facilities in side thw room that they provide steam cleaning for you to use it."
"Spent three nights here, overall good especially considering the price, just 10 min walk from the station, walking distance to all attractions
Self check in, no staff
Bed is nice, comfortable and clean, the bathroom is too but walls, bed's headboard and chair are incredibily dirty, clearly a mistake to get textured/cloth-covered walls and chairs because the stains are almost impossible to clean, the overall vibe of the room feels dirty even if it's clearly been cleaned (and floor, bed, bathroom are clean)."

"This hotel was amazing, like wow. It was in the heart of the busyness which I kinda liked. It almost felt like New York, no-one really sleeps. If you're into street food, walking and just good vibes, then this hotel is for you. The room was massive and well designed. Huge uhd TV. Espresso machine which I found to be cool. Just the aura of this hotel was stunning, modern and clean. Came with lots of snacks and teas."
"The hotel is surrounded by plenty of dining options, which is incredibly convenient. The area really comes alive at night. While the room size is a bit on the smaller side, the facilities are brand new and everything is spotless. Plus, on the second floor, you can do some light cooking, and there are small meeting rooms, a gym, and a laundry room available. I'd definitely recommend staying here for business trips."
"I visited with my child! Overall, the accommodation was incredibly clean. The gym and breakfast were also free for one person, so we only paid for one extra. The room was very tidy, and best of all, each floor had a microwave and various other amenities, which was very convenient. Its proximity to Suwon Station is also a huge plus.
However, it was a bit disappointing that we could occasionally hear singing from a karaoke place nearby at night. Those who are sensitive to noise should keep this in mind."
"I was looking for a budget place just to sleep since I leave early in the morning and return late at night. Both the room and the common areas were clean and pleasant, so I was able to rest comfortably. Even though it is unmanned, they answered my calls promptly and resolved my requests right away. Thank you for everything during my 4-night stay! I recommend this place for business trips."
"The room was clean and tidy, and the service attitude was good. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Check-out was also quick. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. I had a pleasant stay."
"Cleanliness: The room was spotless and well-maintained.
Environment: It was a bit tricky to find, but conveniently close to the subway station. There are plenty of convenience stores and street food stalls downstairs, as well as many restaurants. However, I didn't feel very safe going out at night. I'd advise solo female travelers to be cautious.
Facilities: Very good. The internet speed was fast, and there were free TV shows available. Bathrobes and towels were all provided."

Amazing
GGuest UserWe arrived at the hotel around noon time. The hotel is very close to the KTX train station, 5 minutes walking. The front desk was very helpful, she checked our registration, lend me an umbrella, suggested our city walk in Sowan. The hotel is in great conditions, though we don't have time to experience the Gym, swimming pool, also the restaurant. We will use this hotel again upon our next visiting to Korea.
VVivi SoegyantoI had a very pleasant stay at the Marriott Suwon. My daughter and I received a warm and attentive service—special thanks to Manager Owen, who kindly assisted with my early check-in. After a long journey, this thoughtful gesture made a big difference and set the tone for the rest of my stay.
The hotel’s location is another strong point. Situated by the lake, it offers a scenic atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing walks or simply unwinding with a view. At the same time, it’s conveniently linked to a mall, making dining, shopping, and daily necessities easily accessible without having to travel far.
GGuest UserI highly recommend the Marriot Hotel! My stay here was absolutely fantastic, exceeding all expectations.✨
The cleanliness was exceptional. The room was spotless, the bedding clean and fluffy, and the bathroom free of any strange odors. You could tell the housekeeping team paid great attention to detail, making for a truly comfortable stay.
The hotel's ambiance is superb. It's conveniently located, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. The hotel's interior design is simple yet elegant, and the public areas are clean and quiet. The soundproofing is excellent too, so I wasn't disturbed at all and had a very restful sleep.
The service was impeccable! The front desk staff were warm and professional. Check-in and check-out were quick, and they were always prompt in responding to any requests. Their attentiveness throughout made me feel especially welcome.
The room facilities were complete and brand new. The deluxe twin room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the toiletries were of good quality. All the amenities were well-provided, perfectly meeting my travel needs.
Whether you're traveling solo or on a business trip, this hotel is an excellent choice. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit and have already recommended it to my friends!
AAndiswaAThe locations was great 😊, there’s a chilled street for those who like peace where the hotel is located and there are busy streets for those who like to party and it’s a walking distance. The hotel is like 7 minutes walk away from the train station which made traveling very easy. There are a lot of activities to do in Suwon . The hotel is clean and I loved the check out at 12:00 . The check in was a bit late 16:00 but it was no bother since we wanted to explore the city anyways. The service was great and there was someone who spoke a bit of English at the check in counter which is good for foreigners 💃🏽❤️
AAnonymous UserFamily room is big with 2 queen beds. Room is clean and amenities provided is good with water dispenser machine, teabag and coffee mix at floor level. Newly built located next to arte hotel.
However, there is no shower curtain, as such the floor is pretty wet after each shower. It may be good that there are more hooks or hangers provided in a family room for 4 pax use.
Location - near many good eateries and restaurants, and drinking places. CU is just opposite the hotel which is a plus. For travellers who are not driving, its a hassle to pull your bag through uneven pavement to find the hotel. (Nearest suwon city hall stop). We requested for leave luggage at reception which was obliged before and after check in and out.
@@ddeodolyConsidering the price, check-in is quick, so it is decent.
The room felt a bit cold, but it is fine if you don't get cold easily.
It is disappointing compared to other motels that they do not provide any disposable items; there is no toothpaste or lotion in the bathroom, and only water is available for drinks. There is coffee at the entrance of the motel.
GGuest UserIt's close to a lively area, and there's a 24-hour convenience store right outside, which is very convenient. However, for check-in, you need to call the front desk to get the building's access code. If you don't have a phone, please be aware of this.
SSparklee14The room was clean with basic amenities. Housekeeping however was almost nonexistent for our 10 day stay. Someone came once in a while to empty the trash bins but the sheets were never swapped out nor the floors ever cleaned. All communication was done via text messages. I called the number on the booking confirmation and got a text almost immediately asking me to text any questions.
My biggest problem I had however was the fact that episode does not have en elevator. I was put on the 4th floor and hauling up my huge check in luggage’s were no joke and hauling back down on check out day nearly broke my back.
All in all, episode stay is located in a quiet alley with a CU located just steps away for store runs.
If you need to take public transportation, the bus stop is close by. If you travel with a lot of baggage, pray that you get a room on the 1st floor.
SSolo AceI have been coming to this hotel for a little over a year, and I never had any problems until they started making changes. I understand charging for basic amenities, but can you at least put a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing. I also didn't have the nice LG clothes closet that refreshes your clothes. I wasn’t able to freshen my jacket, and the mattress is also harder. They did install a bigger TV and added better TV remote directions in English with a channel listing. But what did it for me was during the checkout. In the past, when I had a lot of bags to carry to the KTX or Bus Terminal, they always were helpful in calling me a taxi. I asked like I normally do, and not only was I denied, but I was also waved off as if he couldn't be bothered. I tried to tell him that I was going to the KTX, but he kept saying airport taxi across the street. Due to frustration and time constraints, I left. I didn't want to miss my train. I will definitely patron another hotel after this. Disappointed.
GGuest UserThe guy not speak any word in english and even if I said that a booked a room he wanted to make me leave the hotel ! So, don't try to speak with him, just show your name and the reservation, he will give you the key and at your depart you have to leave it in the elevator, it's cold but that's how is it. We sleep in a ondol room (matress in the floor) ; the room is not pleasant (rather dilapidated) but the matress is confortable, you have kettle and one time coffe-tea-water, hot water in the shower ; it's enought to be in good condition. The localisation is pretty good, not too far from the citadelle maybe half an hour of walk.
