AAngelo_007The views from this hotel was stunning. Both inside in my room and all around the hotel campus you look directly into the heart of Bangkok and can see a good part of the city. Location wise travelers at this site are close to multiple local hotspots. In my case I enjoyed walking over to the waterfront where I took a river cruise into China town and spent most of my day there. It was pleasant to come back to a quiet room with a charming view after all the exploration and adventure. Inside my room everything was clean and with a touch of modern decoration and color. My bathroom included a spacious tub and my bed was very comfortable under the well regulated room air conditioning. I enjoyed being close to several shopping districts including Central World and Siam Paragon where I ended up walking to the next morning. I very much enjoyed the staff at this site with complements going to the bar crew. Both nights there I spent time enjoying a beer and discussing how local life was for these friendly and energetic folks. On my last morning I took part in the breakfast buffet and I was surprised to see how many options for food were available. Overall this was a great stay that I recommend and would gladly revisit upon my return.

The location is perfect, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided outstanding service throughout my stay. GGuest UserThe hostel is very modern and generally clean. The staff are very accommodating. The bed I was assigned to had a broken towel rack and ants around the bed and the staff immediately agreed to switch beds for me. While there were fewer ants at the new bed, there was a baby cockroach running around the locker portion of the bed. It was late and my last night when I saw the cockroach so I didn't bother asking for a change but I do think better pest control could be something the hostel should look into.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with my stay, highly recommend! Choosing the Jubilee Hotel for this business trip was an excellent decision! First off, I have to praise the room – it was incredibly spacious with a fantastic view, absolutely no feeling of being cramped. Enjoying breakfast by the sun-drenched window every morning, gazing out at the scenery, instantly brightened my mood and gave me more energy to start the workday. The hotel's Chinese and Japanese restaurants were also a pleasant surprise; the food was incredibly authentic and delicious, completely exceeding my expectations. Plus, the location is super convenient, making getting around for work hassle-free. Next time I'm in Thailand for business, I won't hesitate to choose this place again!

CCangjiujieqiI stayed here around the same time last year, and this time I came with my kids again, plus an elder who's almost 70. I chose this hotel again because of its convenient location (the hotel provides a shuttle boat and there are tuk-tuks at the Ferris Wheel pier) and excellent value for money. This trip also had an unexpected surprise: in the long alley opposite 7-Eleven, across the road from the hotel (pictured in image 2), there's a local morning market. It probably starts in the early morning and is mostly packed up by noon. Walking through it gives you a great sense of local prices and daily life. The hotel's pool bar is now renovated this year, and the prices are still as delightful as ever.

SSS05Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes. Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

Zzoe_augustI took my mum to Bangkok for the first time and we had a great time staying here for a week. The location is closed to BTS ThongLo station and takes 12 mins to walk back to the hotel. It’s quite apart from being in ThongLo area. The cleaning lady comes to clean our room every day and was extremely professional. The view was great! I definitely recommend and will stay another time with my family. Thank you!
