This was my first time in Thailand, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience, especially thanks to the two bellboys at the entrance and the young lady at the front desk who spoke Chinese. Their service left a wonderful impression of Thailand on me. The pool was beautiful, and breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Since I arrived before check-in time, I left my luggage at the front desk. When I returned to the hotel after check-in, the staff had already moved my luggage to my room. As I was leaving, a bellboy at the entrance noticed my backpack was falling and rushed over to help me adjust it. If I ever go to Thailand again, I would definitely choose this hotel without hesitation!

Our stay at Picnic Hotel Bangkok was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable throughout our entire stay. The staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It is conveniently close to BTS stations, shopping areas, restaurants, and popular tourist spots, making it very easy to get around Bangkok. The rooms were spacious, well maintained, and cleaned daily. We especially appreciated how peaceful and relaxing the atmosphere was after long days of exploring the city. The breakfast selection was also good, with plenty of choices each morning. Overall, Picnic Hotel exceeded our expectations with its excellent service, convenient location, and comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok who wants a great balance of comfort, accessibility, and value for money. We have no photo of the hote

Room facilities: Speaking only of the room, the water pressure was unstable; the shower alternated between hot and cold, and it took ages for the temperature to adjust. The room wasn't particularly large and there was no full-length mirror. Don't bother booking the most expensive room if it's over 250 (baht/currency unit), it's not worth the price. Service: The front desk service was quite good, and they even helped with currency exchange. Cleanliness: The floor felt dirty; after wearing slippers for two days, the soles were still dusty. Environment: At night, there's a local night market outside, and King Power Duty-Free is just across the street. The alley is a bit deep but not dangerous, and there are two 7-Elevens right at the entrance.

The location is decent, with plenty of restaurants and massage shops nearby. However, it is not very close to the BTS station, and it takes about 15–20 minutes to walk there. The hotel does provide a complimentary shuttle tuk-tuk service, but it only operates from 10:00 AM to 12:40 PM and is not available throughout the day. The swimming pool is quite small, so guests looking for a larger pool may be disappointed. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options. One of the highlights of my stay was the friendly and helpful hotel staff, who were always willing to assist. The room was generally clean and comfortable. However, I noticed quite a lot of black mold on the shower head, which was disappointing and could be improved with better maintenance. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money, especially for its service and breakfast, but there is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and transportation convenience.

The male staff member at check-in was incredibly helpful (10/10 for him!). The housekeeping staff were also very helpful and provided excellent service. The property is brand new and I highly recommend it. Just a heads-up, there's some construction happening near the hotel (not sure if it's another hotel or something else), so you might hear some noise (the rooms aren't soundproof). But overall, I was very impressed.

Great stay. The hotel is conveniently located near 7-Eleven, street food stalls, and the BTS, making it very easy to access. The hotel serves a variety of breakfast options, and the food tasted good. I would recommend this hotel for its breakfast and the excellent service provided by the waitresses. On the first day when we checked in, the bathroom drain was clogged. We informed the receptionist, and they immediately responded to fix the issue. The staff and receptionists were welcoming and humble. Luckily, they gave us an early check-in as we were very tired after landing, which was very relaxing for us. We didn’t have time to use the pool, but the pool view was nice. Recommended hotel.

Very nice hotel. Clean, safe and secured, friendly and helpful staff, a park nearby for mornings strolls, and quiet. Overall almost a perfect hotel. For my family of 4 with a 3.5 yr old daughter. Quite yet easily reachable to all parts of Bangkok. Especially since it is like 5 minutes walking distance to the Victory Monument BTS train station. Plus two shopping centers nearby. Plus lots of 7 Eleven stores around. Also went to a dental clinic nearby. Lots of them around. Cheap and professional. Overall the best hotel for our Bangkok trip of 10 nights.

This hotel is located in a great spot in Siam, Bangkok, with several bus stops right outside, making transportation very convenient. I really enjoyed the varied breakfast options. But the best part was definitely the staff – their service was excellent! A special shout-out to the tall lady at the front desk; she was incredibly kind. She helped us check in early and later allowed us a one-hour late checkout, which was so thoughtful and much appreciated. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel.

The Hotel is quite new so it is clean and well maintained. We stayed at a triple room and it is very spacious. Toiletries are complete, their body shower actually smells good. There are glass water, cup for coffee or tea. There is also a refrigerator and a dining table. Bottled water, coffee, tea, and sugar are also provided There is also a cabinet and a vanity. We didn't connect to their wifi but it can only connect a number of devices at the same time equal to the number of people staying at the room. The bathroom is also very spacious, and warm water is available. They have a restaurant at the lobby that offers breakfast buffet. The location is not very near to a BTS or MRT station but they have complementary shuttle that will drop you off to specific list they have, including the Victory Monument BTS station. You can book for free and in advance. At the time when we visited, the location of the hotel is not yet updated in Grab maps, so make sure to check the current location if using Grab. Their lobby has free drinks, Restroom, and they have a room for luggage storage

AAngelo_007The views from this hotel was stunning. Both inside in my room and all around the hotel campus you look directly into the heart of Bangkok and can see a good part of the city. Location wise travelers at this site are close to multiple local hotspots. In my case I enjoyed walking over to the waterfront where I took a river cruise into China town and spent most of my day there. It was pleasant to come back to a quiet room with a charming view after all the exploration and adventure. Inside my room everything was clean and with a touch of modern decoration and color. My bathroom included a spacious tub and my bed was very comfortable under the well regulated room air conditioning. I enjoyed being close to several shopping districts including Central World and Siam Paragon where I ended up walking to the next morning. I very much enjoyed the staff at this site with complements going to the bar crew. Both nights there I spent time enjoying a beer and discussing how local life was for these friendly and energetic folks. On my last morning I took part in the breakfast buffet and I was surprised to see how many options for food were available. Overall this was a great stay that I recommend and would gladly revisit upon my return.

EEkaterina___stThis was our second stay at this hotel during our time in Bangkok, and that alone says a lot. We originally planned to stay only a few days, but felt comfortable enough to extend our stay for another week. What stood out most was how easy it was to settle into a routine here. The atmosphere feels relaxed, the property is well maintained, and everything worked smoothly throughout our stay. The staff were welcoming and consistently helpful whenever we needed assistance. We especially enjoyed spending time by the pool after busy days in the city, and appreciated having comfortable spaces where we could relax between sightseeing and work. The hotel offered a great balance between value, comfort, and convenience. The surrounding area has plenty of local food options, shops, and useful services, making longer stays very practical. Overall, this was a place we genuinely enjoyed returning to every evening, and extending our stay by an extra week turned out to be an easy decision. We would happily stay here again on a future trip to Bangkok!

SSTUART GOODALLBeat Warii has become the place to beat for me here in Bangkok. First and foremost, it offers great value and that counts for everything. The location on the riverside is central, convenient and scenic with a constant kaleidoscope of things happening right outside. You have access to piers, boats, buses and e-hailing services/cabs. The famous temples and most beautiful Watsuttiwaram and Yannawa are within working distance, and the world's most beautiful Mall (IconSiam)is a very short boat ride away for a minimal amount, but you can choose to walk there too. Asiatique the entertainment and riverfront development is within easy reach and offers complimentary transport via boat or shuttle. The area around the Hostel houses the largest fish market and seafood buffet restaurant. Within a few minutes' walk is a multitude of local places to eat that offer unique cuisine as well a selection of international food as well. The Hostel has a basketball court, laundry and ironing facilities, lots of space over 7 Floors, co-walking areas, lockers for shoes and valuable, capsule type dormitory beds, private rooms, a shared kitchen space, social areas, a cozy roof top with wow views, branded merchandize, places to hang and dry clothes, good AC and fans throughout, Comfy linen (crisp white duvets and sheets/pillows and a towel), adequate lights and plugs at bedside, laminated flooring, bean bags to chill, dedicated smoking space, local cats to play with, filtered water (hot and cold) , complimentary coffee all day, storage space for luggage, no refundable deposits requested, good maintenance, great showers and toilets throughout and staff that is professional, helpful, kind and friendly. There are no elevators, but this provides a daily workout for you. There is generally a good vibe and a nice mix of international guests around and yes, you can walk to a few Seven 11's easily as well as Little Big C. Yes, there is a fishy smell outside and it feels very local and wet in the surrounding area, but it does not affect your stay or experience at the actual Hostel, and it adds character to the entire environment. For where it is and the quality and selection of services and features you receive, Beat Warii is the best choice overall.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with my stay, highly recommend! Choosing the Jubilee Hotel for this business trip was an excellent decision! First off, I have to praise the room – it was incredibly spacious with a fantastic view, absolutely no feeling of being cramped. Enjoying breakfast by the sun-drenched window every morning, gazing out at the scenery, instantly brightened my mood and gave me more energy to start the workday. The hotel's Chinese and Japanese restaurants were also a pleasant surprise; the food was incredibly authentic and delicious, completely exceeding my expectations. Plus, the location is super convenient, making getting around for work hassle-free. Next time I'm in Thailand for business, I won't hesitate to choose this place again!

AAnonymous UserI went to Bangkok 2 times in 2 months. First we were in an expensive 5 star resort in the river and second time was here in Ramada Plaza. It was more than half the price of the first place but wow it was almost as good! I am not goof at reviews so I will just ramble my thoughts. The worst part of Ramada Plaza is the entrance. It is lackluster and the main big doors were not working so they had small signs that say in and out for you to use side doors. When you get in, the lobby is big and grand with high ceilings, albeit very dated. At night there is a pianist and singer every day and it’s nice to come back to. Front desk staff were kind and they said they upgraded our room from deluxe to premier deluxe (although they always say this so I don’t know if there truly was a difference). We didn’t get early check in and connecting rooms as I requested but we didn’t get rooms beside each other which was good enough. When we got to the room it was so nice. Looked newly renovated! Looked newer than the lobby and the hallway. So we were happy. Aircon was super strong and cold thoughout our 8 day stay. No carpet in the room, made it easier for luggages to roll. I felt it was cleaner that way too. Linens were crisp and clean. Pillows were super great and soft. For our king size bed we had 4 pillows and 1 extra. The bathroom was spacious but it had a wet floor set up so your tub and shower was beside each other. Tub is small so it fills up easily. Water is super super strong and goes from boiling hot to cold. We soaked everyday in the tub. My shower had low pressure in the first day but when I asked them to fix it, they did and it became super strong. If I may nitpick - I didn’t like their provided shampoo (made my hair stiff) and shower gel and lotion(didn’t like the scent). But it was totally ok. Just personal preference. They give two bottles of water a day. The provided ref was ok. Takes a while for our drinks to cool. Anyway moving on, the location of the hotel is beside asiatique so it’s noisy at night (we were in the 6F) because of the party boats boarding. Lots of singing. But only early in the evening. We tried the free tuktuk to asiatique and it was so fast like riding a rollercoaster. My daughter loved it. The location itself is nice because of the river view but it’s prone to a lot of traffic coming from places like icon Siam or central world. Outside the hotel were more than 5 massage spas. We tried one and had a great foot massage!! Loved it! We never tried the fee hotel boat to central pier because we didn’t want todeal with central pier and shift boats. I wish they had a free icon Siam boat like other hotels but that’s ok I guess it’s far. Also the boat doesn’t go at 12 noon so we just opted for a grab car to get around. Oh and also the breakfast buffet is great! They change selection daily so in 8 days we tried many different things. I loved the pork rib curry even though it was so spicy. The chef roams around every morning. Nice touch! Overall I recommend this hotel to all my friends who don’t want to break the bank but still want the resort feel by the river.

SSS05Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes. Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

GGuest UserAddressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

GGuest UserMy stay at Homm Bangkok was excellent from start to finish. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a modern yet welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring the city. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their professionalism and warm hospitality really stood out and made the stay even more enjoyable. The facilities were also top-notch, and every detail felt well taken care of. From check-in to check-out, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Homm Bangkok to anyone visiting the city, and I would definitely stay here again.

NNari.I recently spent several nights at the Furama Silom Hotel in Bangkok, and if you are looking for a blend of convenience, space, and local flavor, this property is a solid contender. Located on the bustling Silom Road, the hotel stands as a prominent choice for both leisure travelers and business professionals who want to be in the thick of Bangkok’s financial and nightlife district. Spacious Living in a Prime Location The first thing that struck me about Furama Silom is the sheer size of the rooms. In a city where many modern hotels are trending toward compact ”minimalist” spaces, Furama offers an expansive environment. My room was bright, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provided a fantastic view of the city skyline. The inclusion of a kitchenette was a thoughtful touch, making it feel more like an apartment than a standard hotel room. The location is undoubtedly the hotel's strongest selling point. It is roughly a 10-minute walk to both the Saint Louis and Chong Nonsi BTS stations, making the rest of the city easily accessible. For those who enjoy exploring on foot, the famous Patpong Night Market, the historic Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, and a plethora of local street food stalls and 7-Eleven stores are just a short stroll away. Rooftop Relaxation and Dining The highlight of the stay was the rooftop swimming pool on the 20th floor. It offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Bangkok, which is particularly breathtaking at sunset. There is also a poolside bar where you can unwind with a cocktail after a long day of sightseeing. Regarding the breakfast buffet, it served a decent variety of Western and Asian dishes. While the menu stayed relatively consistent each day, the quality was good, and the dining area provided a welcoming atmosphere to start the morning. Service and Hospitality The staff at Furama Silom deserve a special mention. From the concierge to the housekeeping team, the service was warm and professional. Check-in was efficient, and they were always ready to assist with taxi bookings or local recommendations. Their hospitality truly embodies the ”Land of Smiles.” Points for Consideration While my stay was overall very positive, it is worth noting that the hotel has a bit of a ”vintage” feel. Some parts of the interior show their age, with slightly dated carpets and furniture. However, the hotel is clearly undergoing maintenance and renovations to address this, and given the competitive pricing, the value for money remains exceptionally high. Verdict I would recommend Furama Silom Hotel to travelers who prioritize location and space over ultra-modern luxury. It is a practical, comfortable, and friendly base for exploring everything Bangkok has to offer. Whether you are here for a short business trip or a week-long vacation, it provides a reliable and pleasant experience.
