On the morning of May 8, 2025, when I checked out of the Hampton Inn in downtown Minneapolis, I encountered an extremely disrespectful front desk employee. I politely asked if I could store my luggage, but the employee not only rolled his eyes and showed disdain, but also directly refused and laughed at me when I left. But I later saw him helping other guests store their luggage. As an international business traveler, this was my seventh visit to the United States and my third visit to Minnesota, and it was also the first time I personally experienced such open hostility. After I formally complained, the hotel management responded to acknowledge the problem and record it in the employee file, and said that they would improve training and internal supervision. The hotel also promised to give me Hilton Honors points as compensation, but as of now, I have not received the points. Although the room fee cannot be refunded and I did not ask for a refund, I hope that this matter will be taken seriously to prevent other guests from being treated similarly. I have always trusted the Hilton brand and hope that this store can truly live up to their promise of ”inclusion and respect”.

The entrance to the parking lot is directly across the street from the Hyatt and the area can be hectic getting in or out. I thought the overall room environment was clean and the mattress wasn't too depressed. I look in the refrigerator and found a food tray on the very top shelf of the refrigerator. Inside was some very old blueberry cheesecake. I toss it and then it began to smell. I sat the trash basket into the hallway outside my door.

We had a very nice room and the staff was friendly and professional. The hotel has a lot of character and charm. The attached lounge and restaurant was convenient and we enjoyed being able to have a drink there before ending the evening. Plan on staying there for all our adventures to the Minneapolis area!!!

First off, I was charged an extra “historic building” fee when I checked in. When I questioned it, I was told it was because I didn’t use their website to book. The room was ok, no hairdryer. There was an almost constant loud him coming from the bathroom wall. Nice view of the river but awakened at 4 am by people yelling and fighting somewhere. Restaurant only serves breakfast on weekends and we were unable to find any open places for breakfast within walking distance. Wasn’t a terrible stay but I wouldn’t go back.

Modern looking hotel, but they don’t even provide drinking water. Nothing in the room for refreshments at all. Kinda minimalist approach. No food except two types of frozen pizza. There is also a very loud aircon system that runs through the whole place, it felt like being on a ship and the noise was that loud at night I had trouble getting to sleep.

Stylish stay in the heart of Minneapolis. Excellent location and beautiful rooms equipped with a Nespresso machine. Don’t miss the top-floor perks: the Prohibition bar on the 27th floor and the stunning observation deck on the 30th. The brunch at Manny’s Steakhouse is also a must. Highly recommended!

My room wasn’t cleaned after my first night of a two night stay. I had a note on the bed requesting an additional blanket so I never got that and the trash wasn’t emptied. I also didn’t like that there were not ice machines, I had to go to the bar to request a bucket of ice. On the positive said the lady at the check-in desk was super nice and helpful.

It was a watching trip for Wolves and Twins. Close to the target field, target center, very convenient for those who go to support! Also, I think it is a very suitable hotel for watching sports with about 20 minutes by bus to the Wild stadium and 10 minutes by light rail to the Vikings stadium! However, there are only domino pizza nearby restaurants that are vacant after 20:00. When you come, check out restaurants. By the way, the security near the domino pizza is not good, so be careful if you go late at night. As for the hotel, there was a feeling of cleanliness, no noise, and comfortable!
