"Unfortunately, the pool was closed and the sauna was required to login and the sauna area was able to use just 1 hour. The opening hours of the sauna from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekends are absolutely unacceptable for such a luxury hotel. We were very angry about it. When booking we have not received any information about the time in the spa is so regulated and it is completely closed in the pool area. At the reception, we received information that the pool was closed due to energy saving measures and also lacked staff. We believe that then the overnight prices must be adjusted accordingly if a significant part of the services cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our stay as we intended!"

"This hotel is situated in a very quiet area of Tiergarten, right by the canal, offering convenient access to all of Berlin's major attractions. The 24-hour front desk staff are professional and friendly, making the check-in process efficient and smooth. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the classic Sheraton bed is incredibly comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. The hotel features a well-equipped fitness center, perfect for daily workouts. There's also an on-site parking lot available for €32 per day with in-and-out privileges, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. The lobby is grand and expansive, and the common areas are elegantly designed. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options, including cold cuts, smoked salmon, freshly made omelets, baked goods, and various beverages, providing plenty of choices."

"The hotel's decor and facilities feel a bit dated, giving it the vibe of an old local establishment. The room was very spacious, more than enough for two people, and the bathroom was also large, though the sink was quite high – perhaps for taller Europeans. There's complimentary water in the room, but it's only replenished when the room is serviced. You need to hang the 'Please Clean' sign on the door if you want housekeeping. We stayed for 4 nights and our room was only cleaned twice, providing only two bottles of water, as we didn't realize we had to hang the sign for cleaning. The hotel has convenient parking for 30 Euros/day. The front desk service was excellent, very warm and attentive, and communication in English was easy. The hotel's location is superb, with an Asian supermarket, Chinese restaurants, local eateries, and Italian restaurants nearby, along with many shopping malls and a 24-hour McDonald's. There was also a Christmas market. It's not far from attractions; a 9.5 km walk will get you to the TV Tower, Museum Island, etc. Driving is also an option, but parking near the attractions is difficult. Overall, I'm very satisfied!"

"Right next to the train station, I was worried it would be noisy, but it wasn't at all. Plus, you can just grab breakfast at the station. All the attractions are easily accessible by public transport, and for the price, I feel like the room was worth it. While it might just be a standard business hotel back home, the overall stay was pretty good."

The rooms are generously sized at approximately 40 sqm, perfectly proportioned, with an interior executed to near perfection. The atmosphere is calm and composed, and the service is polished, discreet, and highly professional. Luxury hospitality is ultimately remembered less by rules than by judgment and generosity. When pricing or policies feel disproportionate, the moment lingers longer than the gesture itself—and guests inevitably carry that memory forward. A more flexible approach would have elevated an otherwise outstanding experience. An exceptional hotel overall, offering remarkable value within its category."

"Great location! It's within walking distance to Humboldt University and several historical museums, plus there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The scenery is beautiful. I love Germany, and I love Berlin!"

"The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. The front desk staff were friendly and polite. Transportation was convenient, with a bus stopping right at the hotel entrance. The in-room TV had screen mirroring, making it suitable for various types of travelers."

"Let's start with the positives: The location is excellent, right next to the U2 subway station and very close to the U6. If you have the Berlin WelcomeCard, getting around by subway and bus is super convenient and saves you a lot of walking. There's a Rewe supermarket across the street with a great selection of food, and their salad bar and hot food counter are both excellent. Now for the negatives: The staff were arrogant and rude. I waited in line to check in for almost 20 minutes when a white man just walked up and stood next to the queue, not bothering to line up. After the person in front of me finished, I walked up to the front desk with him. He said the balding male staff member at the desk had called him over. I told the male receptionist that everyone was queuing and should be served in order, but he insisted he had called that specific white man. At this point, another front desk was free, so I didn't argue and moved to that one. This is where it got even more interesting. When I tried to pay the deposit in cash, the female receptionist said they don't accept cash. Isn't it illegal in any country to refuse legal tender? And who says everyone has a credit card? I didn't want any trouble, so I pulled out my credit card, but for some reason, it wouldn't go through. Finally, this female receptionist said her colleague could accept cash, and indeed, the colleague came over and took the money. But if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't have even given me a receipt. For a hotel costing over 2,000 euros a night, they don't provide bottled water unless you're a Hilton Silver member or higher. The coffee is also terrible instant coffee, the worst among the four hotels I stayed at on this Europe trip. The facilities are old but reasonably well-maintained. In short, besides the location, there are no redeeming qualities."

"I really want to give this hotel a great review! The front desk staff were patient and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. The location is super convenient with easy access to the subway and buses, and it's even within walking distance to the Brandenburg Gate. Sony Center's night views are right downstairs, which is a big plus. The breakfast quality was excellent, with salmon and another type of fish, and a good variety of dishes. The freshly squeezed juices were a nice touch! There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, and being next to the Mall of Berlin makes shopping incredibly easy!"

"First of all, this is not a 5 star hotel! It is listed as a 5 ⭐ on many sites, but it is a 4 ⭐ hotel. Rooms are ok size, we had comfortable real double bed (not two single beds pretending to be double). Free mini bar and coffee machine was a great add on. But no slippers. Balcony in my room was too small, but some rooms have bigger balconies, so it depends on luck what you'll get. Location is ok, but not great. Close to the metro station with one line. To go anywhere you have to go to to Zoo station first."
