Athens Mountain view Hotels

This is a very comfortable hotel. The summary is: the location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the facilities are very good, the service and the surrounding area are good. First of all, the location is near the Kerameikos station of Metro Line 3 (from Athens Airport to the cruise terminal), more than 100 meters from the subway station, and really walk for two minutes. From the subway station to the Constitution Square, to the Acropolis, to the Archaeological Museum. See Figure IV Secondly, we have the facilities inside, we live in a junior suite (room 401). The entrance is a small living room with a sofa (can sleep one person) and a coffee table. Cooking has an induction cooker and a full set of tableware (you can cook by yourself, pots and pans are available, a lot of quantities), the sink, we asked the front desk for a microwave oven, used several times to heat milk, local cakes. We used these to cook noodles several times. There is a huge balcony outside the living room (see Figure 6) for cool off at night. Our balcony can see part of the Acropolis, both during the day and at night. See Figure 7 On one side of the living room is the bedroom with a double bed, enough area. There is a safe in the closet for passport and banknotes. See Figure 2 and 3. On the other side of the living room is the bathroom, the area is OK, the bathroom has a glass sliding door, to do dry and wet separation. See Figure 1 Finally, the service was said to be self-check-in at check-in. We arrived late (about ten o'clock in the evening), and there was no one at the front desk. On the day of check-in, the hotel sent an email to our building's access code and the password for the key box (located on the wall opposite the front desk). We entered the building, got the key card, and checked in to the room. The whole process was very slippery. The hotel does not change supplies every day, and you can change it when you need it. We stayed for four days and just went in and cleaned it. They cleaned it once in the middle. It was a bit not very thorough, but there was no big problem. There are two bottles of water, and the front desk said that it is not enough to give. There are many restaurants around the subway station from the hotel. The nearest one is two. One is called cartone. It is Italian. The taste environment can be expensive. The other is called my plate. It is a local barbecue. The barbecue with small cakes is quite good. The price is cheap. Both have quite a few diners. There is a local concert hall near the hotel. We met a concert; the music in the nearby restaurant was louder on weekends. Fortunately, the sound insulation of the doors and windows is very good, and the sound is much smaller after closing. The hotel elevator is small and can take two people. See Figure 5 One more thing, we booked in Trip.com , and the Trip.com customer service butler helped us communicate a lot of content with the hotel before check-in (our English is not good), and we are very satisfied with the butler's service. The reason why we wrote so much is because the four naiveties we lived in were very comfortable and felt good, so write down our real experience.

Complete facilities, new decoration, good surrounding environment

This hotel was recommended by AI, and its location is definitely the highlight – right on Syntagma Square, directly across from the National Garden of Athens. **Cleanliness:** The linens weren't very clean and seemed quite old and worn; they weren't soft at all. **Facilities:** The hotel feels a bit dated, and the room was small. There was no complimentary bottled water provided. **Environment:** You can see the Acropolis right from the room.

Loft room 602 is a near perfect space. Kitchenette is complete with a dishwasher and everything you need for a kitchenette. The living room is comfortable. The bathroom is not ensuite, if that matters to you. The bedroom has a small wardrobe but with neither hanging space nor hangers. There are 2 balconies, one smaller one by the bedroom and a full length apartment access balcony on the other that gives you a great view and has a retractable awning. All guests have access to the roof top viewing deck, one floor above the highest room floor (6th floor) accessible via stairs with sweeping views of the Acropolis and other vistas. The location is an artistic and local one. We understood that the noise from the ground level cafe/bar/traffic may be an issue but we had no issues on this floor. It's quiet. We loved this area, there's a unique charm to it that's rather bohemian. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Everything else you may need, a concierge service is contactable via WhatsApp, they don't do calls very well. Response time is quick in the daytime. Special needs accessibility may be an issue at the main door of the apartment complex has a step with no ramp and the same for the stairs-only roof top deck.

I was so excited to learn the Attalos hotel is very central to everything! The front desk was very attentive and gave me lots of information about this fabulous area in Athens. I got some delicious breakfast up the block. I perchased a warm jacket for 10eu. In a second hand store. Goodwill Greco style! Im always cold. Even in 70 ‘ temp. Florida aclimated lol I’m here alone meeting friends. I feel very safe and would recommend it to anyone who is solo! Kali Taxidi! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Double standard room is a basement that smells of sewage. Definately not a garden its a tiny corner wth 2 chairs and some plants! Take Care! 😡😡 When we we went to their titchy reception he said he cannot do anything and we need to call reservation office! So we were trying to get a hold of them and called 6 times. Nobody answererd! We were willing to pay to be moved to a normal room they called back about 3 - 4 hours later saying they would see what they can do. Surprisingly within the same call they changed what they had initially said and said they can’t. The room was horrible and definately not 30 m2. At most 18-20m2. The room is clean but thats about it, all in all a TERRIBLE experience!!

We had a bit of difficulty locating the hotel as there was no signboard. However, we were delighted to find it right in the centre of the shops. (For those who are new, it’s right next to the money changer). (See photo. It’s the black gate.)   The hotel is located just steps away from the metro station escalator, the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis as well! We stayed comfortably as there were 2 bedrooms with double beds. It actually fits 6 but we were only 4.  There’s a small kitchen equipped with microwave, fridge, cuttlery & utensils and a small bathroom,  We loved the gyros and souvlaki from the shop downstairs . We enjoyed walking to the neighbouring flea market as well and renting the scooter for faster transport.  We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Acropolis Heart.  For those who are fortunate enough to get available rooms, it is highly recommended 👍👍

First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Vangelis for the front desk reception. I arrived late that night. I walked around the hotel several times and couldn't find a parking space. I temporarily parked at the door to check in. Vangelis was very amiable and received him warmly. He was worried that we would arrive late and asked for consultation. I asked for some drinks/snacks and gave me a large bottle of water. I learned that I couldn’t find a parking space by car and carefully told me how to find free parking and timing. I instantly felt warm and comfortable, forgetting about the fussy scrawling of Milan hotels, and my favorable impression of Athens doubled; Unfortunately, the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not respond. In the next few days, it was not possible to notify the front desk to repair it. The location of the hotel is quite good. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the entrance of the Acropolis and a few minutes to the nearby dining area. The breakfast is also good; the room has a balcony; and Swimming pool; overall highly recommended.

Staff are most helpful for taxi booking n showing areas around. Room with balcony is good for having a coffee n feel the atmosphere around. The only thing is the lift is very small so if your room is in higher floors, you’d better travel light. Location is the best in Plaka with lots of nice restaurants n cafes, also only 5 minutes from airport express bus station at Syntagma Square.

The hotel is located directly on the coastal road in Alimos, with beautiful views of the sea. Although a very busy street separates the hotel from the beach, the good connection to public transport made it easy to reach both the centre of Athens and the nearby surroundings.   The room was clean and well equipped, with a small balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset over the sea.  The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.  The breakfast buffet was varied. The Tropical Hotel is a good choice for travelers who are looking for a accommodation near the sea with good transport connections.
