"Very good location, close to everything, only 200 metres to Metro, good for family very roomy and cozy can accommodate up to 4 people with kitchen facilities including cooktop, toaster and microwave etc. the drawback is the shower screen in two panels and can’t close properly so the water will come out though making complaint to reception but can’t do anything due to design defects. However they did change the room for my friends who made a serious complaint with the one panel glass door shower."

MM20514****Absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was amazing, especially the super sweet fruit – the kiwi and mango were already peeled, which was a nice touch. The desserts were delicious too. The bathroom counter was huge, perfect for women. My room had a small desk right by the window, from which I could watch the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square. I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed sitting there and reading. Being so close to Syntagma Square, the X95 airport bus stop is just a 2-3 minute walk away, about 200 meters. The path is flat with no inclines or declines, making it easy to manage with luggage. All the major attractions are within walking distance. Across the street is the National Garden, and there's a metro station nearby – incredibly convenient! The rooftop cafe and balcony offer stunning views of the Acropolis, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Parliament building. I even spent New Year's Eve on the rooftop watching the fireworks. I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserLoft room 602 is a near perfect space. Kitchenette is complete with a dishwasher and everything you need for a kitchenette. The living room is comfortable. The bathroom is not ensuite, if that matters to you. The bedroom has a small wardrobe but with neither hanging space nor hangers. There are 2 balconies, one smaller one by the bedroom and a full length apartment access balcony on the other that gives you a great view and has a retractable awning. All guests have access to the roof top viewing deck, one floor above the highest room floor (6th floor) accessible via stairs with sweeping views of the Acropolis and other vistas. The location is an artistic and local one. We understood that the noise from the ground level cafe/bar/traffic may be an issue but we had no issues on this floor. It's quiet. We loved this area, there's a unique charm to it that's rather bohemian. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Everything else you may need, a concierge service is contactable via WhatsApp, they don't do calls very well. Response time is quick in the daytime. Special needs accessibility may be an issue at the main door of the apartment complex has a step with no ramp and the same for the stairs-only roof top deck.

MmkatWe had a bit of difficulty locating the hotel as there was no signboard. However, we were delighted to find it right in the centre of the shops. (For those who are new, it’s right next to the money changer). (See photo. It’s the black gate.)   The hotel is located just steps away from the metro station escalator, the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis as well! We stayed comfortably as there were 2 bedrooms with double beds. It actually fits 6 but we were only 4.  There’s a small kitchen equipped with microwave, fridge, cuttlery & utensils and a small bathroom,  We loved the gyros and souvlaki from the shop downstairs . We enjoyed walking to the neighbouring flea market as well and renting the scooter for faster transport.  We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Acropolis Heart.  For those who are fortunate enough to get available rooms, it is highly recommended 👍👍

GGuest UserHotel is located in a good area, but with no elevator and many tight stairs case to climb there are no amenities at this hotel the bar and the rooftop was closed. room installations are no good. You can hear the alarm going out and people taking shower from the next room. There is no restaurant, they offer breakfast but you have to eat it at your room with limited menu. The front desk is closed from 11 PM to 7 AM. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will not stay at this hotel in the future not valued for the money.

HHo Mei MelodyStaff are most helpful for taxi booking n showing areas around. Room with balcony is good for having a coffee n feel the atmosphere around. The only thing is the lift is very small so if your room is in higher floors, you’d better travel light. Location is the best in Plaka with lots of nice restaurants n cafes, also only 5 minutes from airport express bus station at Syntagma Square.

GGuest UserGreat service. They tried their best to give me my room ahead of check in time along with a complimentary breakfast. Great buffet spread. Maybe as an improvement, add something something new each or every other day. I stayed a total of 5 days in between tours. Rooms were always clean. If had to find any improvement, maybe have a bidet in every toilet. But overall, I recommend this hotel. Close enough to city centre via subway or €8-10taxi.

Although a very busy street separates the hotel from the beach, the good connection to public transport made it easy to reach both the centre of Athens and the nearby surroundings.   The room was clean and well equipped, with a small balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset over the sea.  The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.  The breakfast buffet was varied. The Tropical Hotel is a good choice for travelers who are looking for a accommodation near the sea with good transport connections.
