ADA JLocation wise, Marguerite Hotel is almost perfect - nearest exit is Myeongdong Exit 1 (bonus as it comes with escalator), the Daiso that is a must visit for all tourists, near to Namsan Tower, airport limousine bus (right across Hotel Prince), and of course, just opposite the Myeongdong shopping heaven. You can always return to the hotel to stash your stuffs or for a quick refresh. For Muslim travellers, ”Lepakla” restaurant is just 5 steps away from the hotel, and near to Kampungku and Mari Meokja. Facilities like water dispenser (located at Ground Floor and second floor), tea and coffee is available 24/7. Iron is available upon request, bur ironing in your hotel room requires a bit of creativity as the size of the room could not accommodate luggages, let alone an ironing board. The projector in the room was a nice touch, I asked the receptionist how to use it and he said I need to connect it to my own laptop. But I don't carry HDMI cables around, especially when travelling. So after fiddling with the remote, I found out that I don't need to conect it to my laptop after all, as YouTube and Netflix is already readily available on the projector. The down side is, the size of the room. I managed to lay open my 26 inch luggage, but that leaves me no more room for other things. But the worst part is, the service of the hotel. Due to my bad knees, I have made a request for a room on lower floors via Trip. Upon check-in, I politely requested again for a room on lower floors. However, I was assigned to a room on the highest floor. The staff said nothing could be done, which was really disappointing. The staff offered to bring my luggage to the room, which I was grateful for, however, I had to drag my luggages all the way from fourth floor through the narrow staircase all the way down, resulting damage to my luggage. So if going up and down the staircase (there's no elevator/lift), is an issue, you might want to check out other places instead.

CiqingdaThe view is great, and as a suite, it's generally very good with no major drawbacks. The suite includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour. I didn't take photos of the breakfast, but it was extremely rich and delicious. Afternoon tea is shown in the pictures; there were no alcoholic beverages. The lighting and curtains are all smart-controlled, and there's an iPad by the bed to contact the hotel for requests. The space is also ample. The shower water pressure is excellent; both the overhead and handheld showers can be used simultaneously, and there's a seat. Various types of pillows are provided, such as memory foam pillows. Seoul's air quality is often poor, so the room is equipped with an air purifier, and you can call to have a humidifier delivered.
The location is convenient, with the subway station just a 5-minute walk away.
If I had to point out a drawback, the hotel has indeed been open for a number of years, and some basic features are a bit old. For example, the air conditioning lacks any advanced functions like scheduled shut-off; it only has a single temperature and fan speed setting.

AdrianaZThe location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from Euljiro 2(ga) station after taking bus 6015. The subway station is also very close, and there are tons of dining options downstairs, with places like 'Water Parsley Beef' and 'Wild Wild' right around the corner. 😂 The hotel lobby has a luggage scale and a convenience store, and you can do laundry on B2. The room size is acceptable, and there's a window, though no view. However, there's no shelf or platform in the bathroom to put toiletries. The narrow strip under the mirror is too small to hold anything. The motion-sensor light near the entrance can't be turned off, which can be startling when getting up for the restroom at night. The soundproofing in the room is decent, but I could clearly hear people shouting on the street in the middle of the night. I understand and appreciate the eco-friendly concept, but the lack of cups in the room was a bit inconvenient.

步行 | TravellerAnother great stay at Hotel the Designers Seoul station. The location is great, perfect for a next day trip starting from Seoul station, and the hotel has excellent amenities nearby. Although it’s a shame that the spa can only be used on the day and instead of till when check-out. If this can be improved then surely more guests will come.

MsivyI highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Seoul. It feels like the heart of the city and is rumored to be a very auspicious location. The hotel's ambiance and design are excellent, especially the city views. I tried the hotel bar and the lobby lounge, and both had a great atmosphere. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I'll definitely be back.

Guest UserFor the past few years when I've visited Korea, I've always stayed at Voco. Firstly, I trust the InterContinental brand. Secondly, the hotel's price is reasonable. Thirdly, the location is excellent; there's a direct shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, and subway and bus stations for shopping are conveniently nearby. Fourthly, the hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including local specialty bibimbap. This was my third stay, so I didn't take any photos of the hotel.

LlininRight outside Chungmuro Station, Exit 8 on Subway Line 4 – just turn around and you're there! It's about one stop from the busiest part of Myeongdong, either a walk or a subway ride away. There's unlimited self-service drinking water in the lobby. Rooms are cleaned every 3 days. The soundproofing is pretty good, so it's quiet, and the room itself is spacious with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The shower pressure is fantastic! And you can even see N Seoul Tower from the room, how cool is that!

Conveniently located in the middle of both tourist hotspots and local haunts, Grid Inn Hotel provided us with an unexpectedly pleasant one night's stay with the best service I have ever experienced.
The room was cozy and and homely, the air conditioning was as strong as you want it to be, and the beds were comfortable. While the shower drainage is indeed slower than other hotels as mentioned in other reviews, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
The highlight of this hotel is definitely the people. The staff were the friendliest and most welcoming I have ever experienced in all my trips! They also saved my life. I had forgotten to charge up my T money card for the airport bus the next day and the train stations were already closed by then. With only 50,000 won cash denominations, we tried to ask the staff on duty at 2am if it's possible to exchange for some small change. Well...she did so and provided us with different denominations just in case. It was a really huge help!
After we checked out the in the morning, they even personally sent us off to make sure we went the right way to the airport bus stop. It left us feeling really warm inside.
I rarely write long reviews, but Grid Inn Hotel has made our extremely short trip so unexpectedly pleasant it would be a crime not to.
Needless to say, highly recommended and we will be back again. :)
P.s. as a little reply to the other review we saw, the supposedly fishy smells probably came from this little stall that sells mackerels right at the back door of the hotel. Honestly, if you are a fan of fish, those mackerels smell AMAZING even in the morning, and the smell wouldn't get to you at all. We actually find it unfortunate we didn't have time to try it (attached a pic of the shop too!)

LiangruijinuoThe room was a bit bigger than I expected. We booked a quad room on the top floor, and as soon as you open the door, there's a staircase, which felt a little dangerous. The stairs are quite narrow overall. You can only take the elevator to the 4th floor, which was a minor inconvenience since it's a service elevator not really for guests. Other than that, everything was great. The room had an international power strip, two shower heads at different heights, and a large balcony. The room was also very clean! The shared space on the first floor had a microwave, hot water, and a scale. Most importantly, the location is excellent! 👍 I'd definitely stay here again!

Anonymous Userhe room itself was clean, modern, and efficiently designed. While not very spacious, it had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, strong shower pressure, and reliable WiFi. It’s ideal if you’re out most of the day exploring and just need a solid place to rest.
I also appreciated the 24-hour reception and self-service facilities, which made check-in and daily routines smooth and hassle-free. Staff were polite and helpful when needed, though the hotel has a more self-service vibe rather than a luxury experience.
