I finally got in touch with the staff in Korea and they resolved it well. Thank you to that staff. My family was very satisfied with the hotel. The staff was friendly and the facilities were good. It was old, but not disappointing. I used the sauna in the hotel, and it was really nice for the first time in a long time."

Our garden room was a totally unique, quirky and cozy experience. Hosts Mark and John excelled themselves in making us feel ‘at home’, giving tips about Nelson and the surrounding area. Bravo to Mark for ‘going that extra mile’ and managing to prepare a cooked breakfast during a power cut!"

Always do your own dishes (if not fee NZ$ 20). Too bad that in the courtyard smoking msg is done by backpackers. Smoke lingers under the canopies."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights at the Apex. Our 1 bedroom suite was spotless- even the windows. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and large tv with dozens of channels as well as access to sign in to your Netflix or Amazon Video accounts. There are several restaurants within walking distance and the beautiful, sandy beach is about a 7 minute walk. It is privately owned and the couple who run it go out of their way to make sure all of their guests are taken care of. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends."

The only drawback was that it was under the flight path, and there would be noise when the planes flew over, but there were not many planes in Nelson, so the impact was not too great."

Next to the peanut butter factory, it is convenient to visit."

"Excellent stay in a great location - friendly hosts, very comfy bed and wonderfully clean. Car park right out front of my room as well which was really handy. My only suggestion is for the rooms to have sheer/privacy curtains, as there is a big sliding doors and windows that are only slightly tinted, so people can see into your room if they are walking past, so your only option is to close the curtains for privacy and block the sunlight. All in all, a great, no fuss, easy stay. Ask for a room away from the road or bring earplugs."
