MF Hotel Penghu Reviews

The location of the MF Hotel Penghu was convenient as it was close to the Magong ferry pier as well as the main streets of Magong. However, the quality of the room was not great. The room smelled mildewy and one of the beds in our room was not changed from the previous occupants. It reeked of sweat and one of the pillows smelled like someone had vomited on it; we had to put it in the closet due to the smell. The staff were very helpful and when we informed them of the bedding that needed replacing, they were very quick to replace it. Based on my own personal experience, I would not consider staying here in the future.

Very nice friendly staffs, location is the best. Hotel very clean. The food in Peng Hu very very nice, we are enjoying. We will come back again. Thanks I will continue support Trip.com too.

I stayed in a 6 bedder room. The room is spacious enough. The location is good. Within walking distance to the market. There is a convenience store next to the hotel. Breakfast is included, NT100 Voucher from Subway. Can redeem one of 4 meals. Can also top up with cash if I want other food.

Highly recommended hotel. There is also welcome coffee in the hotel lobby. The seats are also very comfortable. You can chat with a few friends and drink coffee. There is a Family Mart next to it, so it is very convenient to buy snacks!

The backpacker's hostel is located in the city of Penghu, and transportation is very convenient. There are many restaurants around. You can also take the Taiwan Express to many towns. This is a great place to stay.

I stayed in a backpacker room with very complete facilities. I was surprised that a backpacker room in a hotel could have such quality: 1. Personal lockers with built-in locking function; 2. Personal hangers and hooks are provided (inside the lockers); 3. Personal slippers are provided; 4. Bed lighting and charging ports are complete; 5. Non-wired hair dryer; 6. The water pressure and hot water in the toilet are normal (the water pressure is slightly high); 7. Bed sheets, quilt covers and pillow cases are already provided upon check-in, and only need to be removed and put in the laundry basket upon check-out (replacements are provided to reassure guests); 8. Water dispenser is provided; 9. Luggage can still be stored at the counter after check-out, and it is very safe. When checking in, because it was the off-season, the front desk arranged the original mixed-stay beds into all-female dormitories👍🏻10. It is very close to the pier, with Family Mart downstairs, and it is convenient to eat. If I had to pick a flaw, it would probably be that the toilet had a peculiar smell, similar to mold. If the taste can be handled well, I will give full marks 💯

Convenient location, many delicious foods, Japanese-style rooms, a dust-dropping area at the entrance, great design, the counter staff are very polite and considerate, it feels like home

We booked a triple room with a double bed and a single bed. The bed size is quite small. The location of the hotel is very close to the pier, which is very convenient. Unfortunately, there is no parking space for guests, so you need to find a parking space nearby when you come back at night. Overall it's very good. I will consider staying here again next time I visit Penghu.

Good facilities, excellent environment, convenient location and close to shopping and tourist attractions.

The hotel is very clean. There is also a gym upstairs that is free to use before 10pm, but the only drawback is that the treadmill is a bit loud when used. I highly recommend staying here when you come to Penghu. It is very close to the city and the Nanhai Visitor Center.

20250319 Checked in to a room on the 5th floor. The hotel is old. The exhaust fan in the toilet makes a lot of noise when the light is on. It is not maintained or replaced. The exhaust is noisy and makes it impossible to fall asleep. There is no mineral water, beverages or snacks in the room. If you want to drink water, you have to take a kettle to the water dispenser outside to fill it. The air-conditioning in the room is still noisy and makes it impossible to fall asleep even if the wind is turned down. From time to time, the air-conditioning will not be cold, and it is so hot that you have to open the window to exhaust the moisture. There is no one on duty at the counter after 11pm! No breakfast, not recommended, I won't come again next time I'm on a business trip... It feels really bad 👎

The room is also clean and tidy without any musty smell. The bathroom space is also very good. There is a convenience store downstairs and there are many shops and food nearby. It is very convenient

The hotel is in a great location There are many local delicacies nearby. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the famous pancake shop. The hotel provides breakfast with Subway, which is about three minutes' walk from the hotel. It is also very convenient. There is also a 100 yuan set meal for Hotan guests (breakfast coupons are worth $100/piece), which is also very considerate.
