Amazing
GGuest UserThe biggest advantage of this apartment hotel is that it is in a good location, located in the city center, walking to the market, monuments, subway stations (40 minutes from Metro Line 3 to the airport), downstairs is full of lively restaurants, super convenient. The room is very large, a family of three and four are no problem, the facilities are complete, you can eat like a home, the hotel provides a variety of breakfasts, overall it is good. The only downside is that the surrounding area is too lively, and the restaurant bar below is noisy until two or three in the morning every day.

GGuest UserThe location is wonderful: within walking distance to all attractions ( 6min to Syntagma Square, 6 min to Monatisraki Squrare, 9min to Plaka...). Hotel is easy to find thanks to sign posted at the corner of Perikleous and Thissios. Very close to restaurants and shopping yet very quiet at night. I had the Pegasus room: it is spacious, with high ceiling, large windows and a balcony. The decor is modern and elegant. Bedding is comfortable, shower is good. There's no front desk receptionist per se, but the cleaning lady was there around 9AM to probably 4PM if you need help with anything. And she is a gem, cheerful and helpful. One drawback: the phone# listed on the voucher doesn't work on weekends (not sure it works on weekdays either) and there's no way to leave a message. I happened to check in on a Monday (3PM is the official time), I tried to contact the hotel on Saturday to get the needed info: tough luck, nobody there to answer the phone. I had to wait till Sunday at 4:40PM to get what I need. When I travel I plan from A to Z myself and it would be nice if I could get whatever info I need more than 24 hrs ahead of time.

等等等1122The only downside: I'm 6'3” (190cm) tall with shoes on, and the bed is just long enough to lie flat. If I lie on my stomach, it's a bit too short. When I lie flat, the blanket is also a little short; it doesn't quite cover me from my feet to my shoulders comfortably, but I still slept pretty well. The location is great, it's clean and tidy, and the facilities are comprehensive. There are even toilets and showers in the hallway. The rooftop closes at 9 PM and has chairs and a pool with a view of the Acropolis. The rooms have air conditioning. The staff are polite and professional. Bedding is changed daily, and any requests can be made at the front desk.

GGuest UserLocation is great for multi purposes. Lots of food and coffee shops around . Walking distance to art, music and history places. Great for visits to Evaggelismos hospital. Need upgrade the hair dryer and the fridge also needs to be programmed to be a bit cooler than it is. Clean but the bathroom floor needed a bit more effort (!) - the hose of the hair dryer too, Towels smelled strongly of disinfectant , made you feel safe but not pleasant. Neutral breakfast, basic actually, not for picky eaters but satisfying a hungry stomach. Tv was not offering movies' rental. Wi fi really good for streaming. Helpful staff both front desk , dinning room attendants and handyman/housekeeping. Great touch the sage from Crete at the coffee tray. Toiletries offered a body balm - not bad at all

GGuest UserGreat location as all main tourist sites (including Kerameikos and Filopappou Hill) were walkable - also outside the main tourist area, which was a plus. Roof terrace also pleasant at the end of the day. Hotel facilities are limited: WiFi, internet tv only (on mine you had to log in with your own details), aircon, tea/coffee, free bottled water. Cold breakfast option (set price of €10 - not €8 as shown on the website). Airport pick-up is now also €50 (more than shown currently on website). Rooms modern but.mine was starting to look slightly tired. In theory it was a ‘suite’ suitable for four (two small rooms) but this would have been extremely cramped, particularly as each room had only a ‘space saver’ type wardrobe ie. wardrobe rail coming out from the wall with a mirror in front and no other storage and a sofa bed in the ‘living room’. Despite the website description of each room with (only) a power shower, mine had a shower over the bath. Service was average: front desk tried to be helpful but local knowledge was lacking. Bed was made each day, but tea/coffee/water were not refreshed and used glasses and mugs were not cleaned. Despite this, towels WERE refreshed daily and there was no option (card or other mechanism) to get this stopped. I was surprised: it seems that saving water and energy had passed the hotel by entirely. In conclusion: compared to other prices and areas of Athens I paid a reasonable amount, but given the reviews had expected more from the hotel, although I couldn’t honestly say that it was bad, just ‘average’.

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI booked a single room and it was larger than expected and the bathroom had a bath. I was on the 9th floor. The room had a city view which was unexpected. There was air conditioning, a kettle a fridge and plenty of space for luggage. There was no coffee available only T. So I bought my own. There was a range of shower wash and body cream. The soap was olive oil soap and very nice. The water in the fridge was not complimentary and I had to pay for it when I checked out. I didn’t book breakfast. It was quite noisy at times on Floor 9 with screaming children and young men congregating chatting and being loud. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well in it. The plug sockets were not near the bed. The pool at the top was brilliant but it was very busy. The views were spectacular and the food in the bar was very good. The staff in the bar were very kind. The hotel is very well situated near train stations but walking is much more interesting! There are some great shops and markets in the area and museums are not far away. It takes about 20 mins to walk into the centre if you enjoy your walk. I recommend junk shops on the walk to the Acropolis.

PPuay Teck OngThe exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
