The rooms are spacious, especially for two friends staying together felt like plenty of room. The bathroom is big and private, many hotels have glass surrounding the bathroom but I appreciate this has a solid door to close. The breakfast has many options, though I would wish for fresh ground coffee rather than an instant coffee machine. There’s a bit of hiking involved staying here, I enjoyed the exercise but not for anyone who doesn’t like stairs.

The setting is fantastic, and all rooms are individual villas. The service is impeccable. We were also pleased to find fluent Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk. The bathrooms in the rooms are incredibly spacious. Moreover, the hotel's dedicated app makes it extremely convenient to book shuttle services and spa treatments.

The rooms are individual bungalows. If you book a sea view room, the ocean is right there as you open your door. (Though I had emailed well in advance to request a room with a good view, unfortunately, many trees still obstructed it.) I also observed that the sea views from rooms assigned to other guests, particularly Westerners, appeared to be better than those given to Chinese visitors. The breakfast was quite a generic Western-style spread; after four days, I was completely fed up with it. There were no convenience stores or supermarkets like 7-Eleven nearby, so food delivery was the only option. On a positive note, the service was excellent. Even arriving at 1 AM, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful with the check-in process.

Perched on a hillside, our standalone villa featured a large balcony with breathtaking sea views. While the facilities are a bit dated, it's generally acceptable for the price. The only major downside was the extremely loud air conditioning unit, which I'd caution light sleepers about. The hotel doesn't have its own beach, but there's a rustic path leading straight to Karon Beach. However, it felt quite unsafe – we encountered lizards and even snakes. I'd suggest the hotel consider some maintenance for this pathway.

The location is amazing, this secluded villa hotel is one of the best places we have stayed in Phuket. The breakfast menu is a lovely spread. We loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Let's just say, this was my first hotel in Phuket and it was practically perfect.

Best view and best service

The villas are stunning with panoramic views of Karon Beach. Villas with pool are very private and not overlooked. Food exceptional. Staff fantastic so attentive and friendly. Geo and K were so helpful and friendly. The in resort tuk tuk was a fast service as the resort is on a cliff with lots of steps. You are a little out of Karon and need taxi or tuk tuk to travel in and out of Karon but only 200b. Wonderful place I will surely visit again.

Iv booked one of the best room with the best view in centara. Room 403 The view was breath taking. It’s peaceful with lush vegetation and tranquility. Enjoyed every bit but one thing really disturbing was fisherman’s right in front of our room. It ruined our privacy and had to call the reception why they are there everyday and this includes late night too. It was centaras private beach and I had to ask why and who is actually catching fish. Was it outsiders or was it staff? The receptionist couldn’t answer my question and this didn’t feel right because it didn’t stop. I hope this wont repeat to the future guests. Though this happened I really enjoyed my 5 nights at centara I would highly recommend this place specially the rooms with swimming pool.

I will never book this hotel again. Pros: It's quiet and the environment is pleasant, but you'll need a taxi to get around. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere, consider staying closer to the beach. When I booked the hotel, their homepage prominently featured 'Chinese-speaking staff for easy communication.' I wasn't expecting every staff member to speak Chinese, but when I tried to communicate, I clearly felt I was being treated differently! I called the front desk and, in English, requested, 'I need Chinese [service].' Upon hearing my accent, the person on the other end rudely and dismissively interrupted me with, 'No! NO Chinese!' (The hotel's eventual explanation was that the Chinese-speaking staff weren't at the front desk.) This clearly felt like a flimsy excuse. I only ended up extending my stay for two more nights because I had pre-booked a snorkeling trip, and changing hotels would have been too much of a hassle – it certainly wasn't because I wanted to stay! If you feel so superior and disdain Chinese guests, then perhaps you should just close your booking platform. We came here to enjoy our vacation, and you completely ruined our experience. I promptly switched hotels. Despite the poor experience, I still left a tip in the room before checking out, because I believe in treating everyone with equal respect. Comparison truly highlights the flaws. Paying 2043 yuan (plus tax) for four nights here, I felt like I was paying to be insulted. A hotel near Kata, right by the beach and a snack street, costs only 230 yuan a night – half the price, and the attitude and respect there are priceless. Ctrip offered me a 100 yuan voucher as compensation, but I politely declined. Attitude and respect are priceless.

I booked a pool villa and another sea view villa for my friends. As a seasoned traveller, this hotel is really a hit or miss. If you're lucky, you get a room with perfect views of the sea in front. But as for my friends and I, I'd say we got a partial view (considering it was rather blocked by trees for my friends). Private Pool Villa: Though the private pool villa was supposed to be (as stated) private, the room given had a balcony and pool in which everyone at the spa reception was looking at us when we were swimming. There's even a room beside us in which their balcony gave them an unblocked view of us in the pool 🤡. Do note that as the property is rather huge on a hilly terrain, it is tough for them to clean your rooms, and as such, the pool is rather dirty. There were people who came to pick the leaves above, but the small particles of dust and what not underneath were seen circling around when we tried to swim. Breakfast Spread: Breakfast is decent. There was nothing much here because there was nothing noteworthy except the croissants and bacon, which was really crispy and dripping in oil. Reception Service: On our check-in date, the male service staff who attended to us was a sweetheart. He accommodated our requests for earlier check-in and was all smiles. On a side note, huge big fat no to the lady who helped my friend checkout of him room. Literally, IT WAS RAINING for days, and they needed the umbrella to travel to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Their staff kept the umbrella and never returned it when we asked for it (probably because they were busy with their breakfast service). But upon checkout, when we told the lady about the umbrella, she gave an attitude within this statement "So did you find umbrella? Yes or No?" It was like she wasn't listening to what we even said ... Only after we tried to leave a review to leave an HONEST opinion did she tell us it was fine. Horrid experience with her. All in all, I'll recommend booking a normal Seaview room or the spa room! Spa room would be amazing if you get rooms with unblocked views. Enjoy your stay, and stay safe if you're reading this! 🥰

The villas are old but kept clean and I am very happy with the place itself. There are two pools which were a bit buggy but otherwise clean (they are under trees so a few bugs is understandable). We also had 3 tiny geckos in our room so if you are scared of lizards be wary. The breakfast was really great with a lot of choice and was refilled quickly when requested. The initial service was great, especially coupled with the fantastic views we were very excited. The desk staff, especially the man who seemed to be a manager, were lovely and polite. However there seemed to be a disconnect between them and all other staff teams. We were very surprised on our second day when we came home at 2pm to find that housekeeping hadn’t been at all. We had requested extra water the day before so were looking forward to that being replenished (since it was so hot and we were obviously dehydrated), our beds being made and new towels being provided. We had none of that. We had to call and request housekeeping come, then of course didn’t want to be around when they were in the room so found a reason to go back out. We also had to specially request more of the “complimentary” water. After that fiasco we were of course then astounded the next day when housekeeping hadn’t come AGAIN by 2pm. When we called this time the desk staff seemed confused when we brought up the day before so obviously aren’t communicating well. This time they also took one of our towels? On a day I was very sick, it felt like pulling teeth to be able to buy bread and butter in the restaurant, despite having seen it at the breakfast. Our final annoyance was when checking out. Check-out is at 12, so at 12 we called for the shuttle to take us and our luggage to the front desk (it is a trek even without luggage). We waited for about 20 minutes and had to call a second time even though the shuttle journey takes about 5 minutes and supposedly runs constantly. We were lucky not to have a flight coming up but couldn’t help but imagine if we had. Overall we had a good time, but feel that for the price and how long the hotel has been running, the service was sloppy and should have been much better than it was.

We booked a villa with private pool and ocean view. The experience was amazing. They need to add more options for vegetarian food.

Team is smiling and trying to do their best but obviously no sufficient training to staff. Food is below average, overall facilities are old, painful and long check in/out process. Five star price for a three star property. Great views
