We arrived at this hotel, which was certainly very well located, but we were very disappointed because it didn't mention anywhere that the entire relaxation area was being renovated (pool, jacuzzi, etc.). We were very disappointed, since we had chosen this hotel solely for the spa. I explained this twice to two different people at reception. When we arrived in our room, it was terribly hot, and that was normal, since an electric space heater was on full blast even though there was already a ceiling heater/air conditioner. Why?! Then a completely unknown gentleman managed to get into our room with another keycard, and finally, we went for a drink in the hotel's lounge bar on the receptionist's recommendation. The prices were exorbitant, so we only had a beer and a kir for €12. We would have thought the drinks could have been free; it was the least we could do, but nothing. A more than average room for one night at €135, luckily there was a spacious bathtub to save the stay a little.

Very good, just the duvet is not wide enough for our taste and the spa is under construction, a shame, maybe next time, very pleasant staff

5/5 Excellent Lovely hotel, with all the quirky charm of an old establishment, but including modern cons. Spent 1 night on route to CDG airport from Nice. Guest room 224 was perfect. Up 2 flights of stairs (no lift in this part of the hotel) in a quiet corner, spacious with comfortable king bed and high-end bedding, a window with nice view of some old town buildings, two skylights and a nice sitting area, Original A-frame rafters (so high ceiling) and a pristine, spacious bathroom. The bathtub with both faucet and handheld shower wand was superb – good water pressure, spacious bath for relaxing, and fluffy absorbent towels. No washcloths or face cloths, however. Half a point off for this. In room 224 there was a kettle with tea & instant coffee. 2 bottles of water were provided. The AC worked. The staff agreed to store small items in their refrigerator for us. It would’ve been convenient (and it seems a standard offering of virtually all hotels these days) to have a small fridge in the room. One does not want to run down to staff for every access to their items. The other half point was docked for this. The reception and service from staff was exactly what one would hope for. Make sure you get a map of the area at reception – there are English as well as French versions and they are indispensable for navigating the small town and appreciating what you are seeing. Provins is an authentic, medieval village, nicer in our view, than Aigues Mortes or St-Paul de Vence, if you have been to either. You must view the Tour Cesar and large church behind it lit up at night. We recommend this hotel.

Would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Provins. We stayed here for a couple of nights in January 2025 and were blown away by the huge room complemented with a table and chairs outside. The room had amenities such as a safe, wardrobe, kettle with coffee and tea, as well as all the necessities for a few nights. The only missing appliances were an iron and a fridge. We were also really impressed by how helpful and friendly all the staff members at reception were, who went out of their way to accomodate us. It is also located just 5 minutes away from the centre and major sites. A free outdoor parking area is also available as part of the hotel. Only gave 4 stars on location as having visited in January, most sites in Provins were closed and the city was quiet, but we enjoyed walking around and visiting a couple of gardens, streams and the Provins Remparts during our day in the town.

A perfectly charming stop outside Paris. Beautiful village with a great vibe. Old school French charm.

Main hotel was brilliant , only addition would be a fridge in the room during the hot summer months, air conditioning was excellent for sleeping The dome let it down as an overall experience

Average stay! Disappointed in room. Chipped paint through the room made it look second rate. Bathroom sink blocked. Heating in bedroom not working. Just 2 tea bags, 2 sachets of instant coffee, only one small bottle of water for two people and no mini fridge. Restaurant is nice, great food and far more in line with what we were expecting at the hotel.

Positive : very good,ocation of the hotel, the hotel itself, the lounge, the restaurant/bistro, treatments by staff perfect and smart the welcoming, friendly and available staff, the perfect check-in check-out Negative: Restaurant , expensive and dishes below expectations Masage, as european style, effleurage not a massage, very disapointing

Room in need of some love, very noisy environment. Service was sparse and not extremely attentive. The overall environment is great, but we saw better lodging possibilities while walking around the city.

UN ASTICOT A MOUCHE DANS MA VIANDE Attrape touriste Bonjour, je ne commenterai que la partie restaurant car je n'ai pas séjourné dans cet hôtel. Moi et mon compagnon avons réservé une table pour deux à midi donc en début de service, attente extrêmement longue nous sommes partis 3h30 après, avec entrée plat dessert. Mon compagnon a trouvé dans son plat, un ver (souris d'agneau). Un asticot dans sa viande il n'a donc pas consommé son plat. Ayant retourné l'assiette en cuisine pour des explications on nous a dit que c'était le thym de ce matin, alors compréhensible mais du coup non rincé ? Prix et qualité non alignés. Trop élevé, un restaurant qui se veut semi-gastro, qui se veut d'un certain luxe car dans un certain prix on s'attend à un minimum de gamme, aucun geste commercial de la part de la chef de rang n'est fait, nous avons donc dû payé une viande véreuse. En compensation elle nous offre le café, une blague. Etant un couple jeune et en tenue dans randonnée car à Provins, je pense qu'elle nous a simplement snobé, après avoir rappelé et mis un avis négatif elle a à ce moment-là décidée de nous rembourser si on enlevait le commentaire. Pas folle la guêpe. Nous enlevons notre commentaire et 2 semaines après nous ne sommes toujours pas remboursés donc on nous a doublement arnaquer ce jour là. Et pour commenter la cuisine je ne vous le conseille absolument pas les places sont chers sont fade, la pièce viande sèche. Les entrées sans goût, et les deserts tout fait, ça fait du mal au porte-monnaie alors certes le cadre est très beau la terrasse est top mais ça ne justifie en aucun cas le prix ni l'arrogance du service.

Good services, very good location in the center of the city with a parking near the hotel. Very good restaurant and breakfast. Friendly welcome and waiters at the reception and the restaurant. I recommend
