"So I have to say: this hotel has done me very well. I didn't want to leave the Mountain Top Park Hotel anymore and I really liked it last day. First to the room: I had a room with view to the mountain (I think with view to the sea costs again extra, but you don't need it at all because the view to the mountains is really beautiful. ) It was indescriptably nice to wake up every morning with such a look. I also saw many birds like Tukanes, Adlers or Ara papayas flying over the tree crowns during my stay. As you have read, there are incredibly many free live animals in the large hotel area (the hotel is almost in a piece of rainforest). I have seen more animals here than in the Manuel Antonio National Park like faults or monkeys (the last day we even discovered a fault with a breed). In any case, makes the free morning tour with guide. It is really great to walk over the hanging bridges and watch out for animals. The staff is SUPER. The rooms are clean and modern (they are just a little bright, but with earstops is no problem). So all in all was a memorable stay and I regret no cent :) PS: Let you take the golf cart from the reception to the hotel, it's too hard to run up."

"The cleanliness of the hotel was kinda of disappointing. Our room didn't appear to be properly cleaned. Bath towels were all over the place, and there was even a rotten mango on the nightstand. Hotel staff was friendly, and they have a nice pool."
"Rarely, the experience is very poor, the service is very good, but the hotel is super noisy all night, the club is high all night, where the sound of the decoration is getting up in the morning, super silent, not sleeping well, this price of breakfast really Very poor, only two choices, rice and pancake single point, but also not good, and no self-selected things, close to the beach but this beach is not good, the only good thing is that the hotel is very responsible for our care Car, at night, get out of the car to get the clothes security to verify the identity before leaving, the personnel service attitude is also good"

Amazing
GGuest UserBeautiful location and for the most part the service was great. First the pluses ....beach is super and the staff down by the beach was friendly and welcoming and they do a great job of creating safety (lots of lifeguard drills it appeared!) and overall the sense of a lovely vacation feel. There are golf carts to take you everywhere on the property, which is pretty necessary as the property is steep and quite spread out. You just give a call and someone shows up in minutes. Many of the drivers have a great personality, just made it surprising when a few of them seemed not friendly--and for us there was no need to speak English--I was always happy to try my Spanish! Ditto for the staff in the main restaurant--some were friendly and welcoming and a few others were all business and not very welcoming or patient. On with the plus items...the beds are very comfortable, rooms are private and quiet, and the policy of free mini bar snacks (with free restocking) is wonderful! The monkeys and iguanas --and sloths--on the property are terrific. There is a dinner in the beach restaurant on Wednesdays, Sats and Suns and since we were only there for the Wed dinner, I wish that the staff at breakfast had reminded us of it and also, there could be a small guide in the room that would include the beach dinner evening schedule as well as a map of the nature trail --with distances. We wanted to walk it ourselves, without their guide, but didn't have a good sense of the overall length of the trail. There was a little sense that they wanted to encourage us to sign up for their guided (for a fee) walk. The food in the main restaurant was good, but not exceptional and the dinners are quite expensive. The breakfast has many choices and again, it's good but not exceptional--but nice that it's included in the room price. Overall, however, it's a lovely place, clearly the nicest place to stay in Manuel Antonio, but also quite pricey, which you know if you're reading this! Trip.com had the best price by far, at least for November.
CClarisa624They spoil you here! They have a WhatsApp set up for their guest services and it made it all the more spoiled. I was at the spa and I needed ice for my drink that I brought there and all I did was message and they brought it right to me. The food was great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was free shuttle service to Agua Azules and the town, which was perfect because we booked parasailing with Agua Azules and they dropped us off right at there steps. The room was clean. The property was beautiful. We got to see sloths, iguanas, and monkeys! The monkeys were right outside our hotel building (we booked a vista suite) when checking out.
KKThe public area gets rather crowded at times, especially the pool. The Hotel is a tag overrated I believe. The room is decent but the facilities are lacking. Would be nice to have more choices of food choices and such.
GGuillaume BeaumontJust incredible. We feel in nature. A little far from the beach, but perfect since we had a car. Good choice of restaurant nearby. I strongly recommend!!
Llansol PeThe television did not work, we had problems with cleaning, it was cleaned around 3 in the afternoon, little variety in the restaurant, breakfast was very good, the attention of the incredible staff, very nice pool.
MMathijsThe hotel is located at an amazing location with a view over the forest and Pacific Ocean. Room was clean and nice and the breakfast was amazing!
CChris KnappWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shana and found the room, facilities and staff excellent. The breakfast, the bar and the dinners were equally excellent and the beach was also an added bonus. We plan on returning to Shana on our next visit it Costa Rica.
GGuest UserHotel very well located just in the entrance of Manuel Antonio Park (beyond 100m). You can enjoy the facilities of the hotel the lighthouse, making the experience even better. The staff of the hotel are very careful and friendly
GGuest UserAmazing location you felt right in the middle of the jungle but very close to the beach. Very good on-site restaurant and small swimming pool would highly recommend this accommodation and would book again ourselves.
GGuest UserGreat place to stay! Amazing oceanview, located close to the beach and best local restaurants. Gustavo, the owner, and his team are always eager to assist and provide the best service. We will definetely go back in our next visit to Costa Rica.
