"Starting with the good things, the price is good, location is excellent literally 20 m from the main area, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, it has onsite parking, and despite obvious limitations the room was clean. However the hotel is very tired and needs some major investment in regards to maintenance to bring it up to a decent standard, our room was small which wasn’t a problem but things like locks missing screws, the toilet push not fitted right, paintwork scuffed and chipped etc really let the place down. Unfortunately what didn’t help was a drunken guest trying to kick a door in at midnight added to the poor review, I realise that the hotel can’t select its guests but I suppose if you book a budget hotel you may get budget clientele"

"We stayed here for two nights to enjoy the champagne region. I only discovered it through Google Maps and was really pleased I did. Service and style are everything you would expect. I only gave the room 4 stars because - as with many 5 star hotels - there are no coffee-making facilities in the room and I *need* a coffee before being human in the morning. The Le Parc restaurant was simply outstanding. Food and service were excellent."

"Great hotel when you are on a short trip. Room are clean and nice, a bit old. There is a restaurant in the lobby, it has quite a warm atmosphere and game area to network or have fun. There is also a shop with all the specialities of the region, like champagne. Totally happy with my stay, can recommend it."

"The rooms and facilities are very good, as is the breakfast. The rooms and bed are clean, and cleaned during the stay. The hostess is really friendly, has seen the world and has a lot of stories to share. Looking forward to coming back here, great experience :)"

"Arrived worried at first to see lots of building works around the site but contorted that no building work was going on while we were there and it didn't affect us at all. Room was nice and spacious (Family room - king + two single beds), clean and tidy. Location was fairly good, few minutes walk into city centre. Only downside was the underground parking was full so we had to park in the public parking but this was OK in the end with there being lots of cars there overnight."

"The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk."
