Hotel is well situated close to metro stations and a lot of food options just across the street. Excellent facilities, spacious room and equipped with gym, 4 laundry washer dryers.

I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Pudong South Shanghai during a recent business trip booked through Trip.com, and it delivered well on comfort and convenience. Check-in was smooth, staff were professional, and the room was clean, modern, and functional with strong Wi-Fi and a proper work desk—ideal for business travellers. The one clear limitation was breakfast for vegetarians, especially Indian travellers. Beyond fruits, bread, cheese, and jam, there were practically no vegetarian options. Most hot dishes were non-vegetarian, so the variety felt very restricted if you’re not eating meat. Location is practical for Pudong area meetings, with taxis easily available and airport access fairly quick. Overall, it’s a reliable business hotel: good rooms, efficient service, and value for money. Just be prepared for limited vegetarian food at breakfast.

The staff provided excellent service and were very helpful with various recommendations, especially Alice Shen, whose service left a great impression. The housekeeping staff who cleaned the room were also very professional.

A special thanks to staff member Xiao Miao for the warm hospitality and thoughtful complimentary treat — it made our visit even more memorable.
