Fish Inn (Shanghai East Nanjing Road) Reviews

The room was clean. The bed linens and towels were clean and new. The bathroom was spotless. However, the hotel itself was built a long time ago—carpets in the corridors and wallpaper were a bit worn. The location was very convenient, and check-in was quick. The price-to-quality ratio is satisfactory.

A very recommended hotel when you stay in Shanghai. The location is very strategic, you only need to walk around 15 min to reach the Bund. A lot of Shanghai culinary and souvenirs around there.

Affordable stay near Exit 6 of East Nanjing Road—steps from Family Mart and halal restaurants.

My second time here! :) it’s near East Nanjing Road and very close to Line 2 and Line 10 Metro. They let us check in early and even got a free upgrade. I will book here again next time!

The stay was ok. No issues with noise as it is located in a backstreet area. Location is close to the bund which is a very popular spot to see the night view. It's a little overpriced for what it is, but if you are lazy like me and don't want to walk too much, this spot is probably for you. ,

Location is amazing but hotel was old and dirty. If there is no ac the rooms will be sauna no hygiene. There is no option for breakfast. Entrance is little bit dirty street. Overall that hotel was 6/10 and overpriced.

Room is nice, spacious, and comfy. It's near to Shanghai iconic spots (even only 200 m from metro station), so you can go everywhere without worrying the access. Staff is really helpful and generous (also understand english well).

The room is situated in a central location and is well-maintained—clean, tidy, and thoughtfully organized.

The location is superb, only 600 meters from Nanjin pedestrian street. The nearest metro (Nanjing St. East) is also very near around 200 meter away. The hotel doesn't have a breakfast option but it's not really needed. The nearest Family Mart is very close. Hihgly recommend for pleasure trip to explore Shanghai.

Excellent check in - lovely lady upgraded us to a bigger room for free seeing our 3 suitcases and stroller with baby. And we checked in 4 hours early too. Water, toilet paper and towels are replaced every day. Slippers are supplied. Location is BRILLIANT. 2 subways a couple minutes walk away. Loads of restaurants just minutes away. Only thing i will say is that taxi's struggled to find us as the hotel is in an alleyway, not on the street. Other than that, I highly recommend the fish inn for its wonderful staff and Location.

Though not easy to find at first, the location is very convenient, close to subway and the Bund. The room and its cleanliness was ok, but charging of my phone was quite a challenge, because all electrical sockets were unusable.
