My stay at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Shanghai was absolutely fantastic! The floor-to-ceiling windows in my room offered breathtaking views of the Huangpu River. By day, I watched boats glide by, and at night, I enjoyed the stunning light show on both banks. It created such a romantic atmosphere! The service was attentive and thoughtful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The room is quite spacious, and it's secluded from the bustling Bund area. Downstairs, along the river, there are many cafes where you can grab a coffee and wait for the sunset. There's also a running track and cycling paths, making it a good spot for a vacation. From the hallway, you can even catch a glimpse of the 'three-piece suit' (referring to the iconic Lujiazui skyscrapers).

Both the hardware and service were top-notch, far exceeding my expectations. Marriott will definitely be my first choice for my next trip!

The hotel's location is great, less than a ten-minute taxi ride to the Oriental Pearl Tower. I booked a room with a river view, and waking up to the scenery outside was such a pleasant experience. The breakfast selection was abundant and delicious.

Opened the curtains to a stunning river view! The hotel is brand new and the service is excellent. Silva was incredibly attentive and always ready to help. The breakfast ingredients were top-notch; the fruit was clearly hand-picked, very fresh and sweet. The omelets and yogurt were delicious – seriously, breakfast was the highlight of my day! I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Shanghai. Amazing value for money.

Great location, with fantastic river views from the room. The environment, hygiene, and facilities are all excellent. It's super convenient for shopping and dining, and very close to Lujiazui – just a taxi's starting fare away. The hotel's massage service is also pretty good and offers good value for money.

This was my second stay, and the guest services were still excellent, with adorable amenities for children. We wanted an executive room, so we didn't book a family room, but they still provided a small tent upon request. During our first stay, breakfast was crowded, so we only went to the executive lounge. This time, we specifically visited the breakfast restaurant and found a much wider variety of options. The dinner at the lounge was also quite good. The gym was mostly empty around noon, making it very quiet. The most impressive part is the riverside promenade behind the hotel. You can walk all the way to the ferry, take a ride across the river and back for just two yuan per person – it's a lot of fun.
