We have booked more nights initially, but our plan was disrupted by the typhoon unfortunately. Kudos to hotel to be willing to accommodate to our booking twice. Room is too dim for my liking, but housekeeping staff is helpful to my request. Convenient location that our favourite 莱莱小笼包 and 双喜甜品 is just a corner away. You just need to head down n the whole shopping street is right in front

The hotel's location is excellent, close to the Bund and the pedestrian street. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The front desk staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. I arranged a birthday surprise for my girlfriend in advance, including balloons, flowers and a special room decoration. The hotel team was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the whole process. They understood exactly what I wanted and made sure everything was beautifully prepared before we arrived. The surprise turned out even better than expected, and my girlfriend was absolutely delighted. The communication with the hotel was excellent, and the staff were genuinely kind and accommodating. Thank you so much to the entire team for making her birthday so special. We will definitely remember this stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai.

Firstly, i want to thank the staff Nana. She was very helpful and kind. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. They kindly helped us join the two beds together and made them very neat and comfortable. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas. We really appreciated the excellent service and hospitality throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

Overall, the room was good, but the lighting was a bit dim. The shower head had low water pressure (possibly due to clogged nozzles, with only some holes working), causing water to spray everywhere. Also, the TV wasn't connected to the internet and experienced freezing issues, which might have been due to the typhoon. Everything else was perfectly fine. The service attitude was excellent, and the room had great soundproofing (I couldn't hear any outside noise at all). The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was pleasant with no strange odors. The cleanliness was also very good (I didn't see any dust or foreign objects like previous guests' hair). We stayed for two consecutive nights and requested room cleaning after the first night. When we returned, the original slippers were respectfully placed neatly near the door, and new slippers were provided. Bottled water was replenished promptly, and the towels were all new and very clean.

Not too close to the metro or Nanjing road but great location for DiDi-based traveling. Family Mart is right next door. Luckin Cofee is just opposite so very convenient to stay. Room is great, not too big or too small with everything you need. Highly recommended room with electric toilet seat. Staffs are super nice.

The room was very clean and had no strange odors. All the staff were very friendly. I booked a twin room, and the front desk upgraded us to a family room for free when they saw my husband and I had a child. When we were checking out, my husband asked me to buy some water, and the front desk overheard and gave us two bottles of mineral water for free. The service was really thoughtful. The most important thing is that this hotel has a great location. It's only about a 20 RMB Didi ride to the Bund, and the People's Square subway station is just a few hundred meters away. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is also very close. Even better, this hotel is very close to the Shanghai International Trade Hotel Bakery, just two blocks away. The beef noodles downstairs are delicious and cheap, only 16 RMB a bowl, and they're open until 1 AM. There's also a Shanghai soup dumpling place downstairs that's very tasty, and many celebrities have visited it. This is my honest review, and I hope it helps future travelers.

The hotel's environment and service were excellent. They promptly helped with luggage. As I'm pregnant, they kindly upgraded me to a family room for free, which I was very happy with. The front desk staff were very welcoming, especially Violet, who had a bright smile and provided great service. Thumbs up! 👍 I'll definitely stay here again next time, highly recommended.

Choosing Puyin for my trip to Shanghai was a fantastic decision, absolutely no regrets! The location is unbeatable – just a two-minute walk from the subway station, and right outside is Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, making shopping, dining, and visiting the Bund incredibly convenient. The hotel interior is wonderfully quiet; you can't hear any of the street noise. The new Chinese-style decor is clean and sophisticated. The smart home devices throughout the room are easy to use, the bathroom has excellent water pressure, and the toiletries have a light, pleasant scent. The free washer-dryer combo was a lifesaver for laundry. The front desk staff were professional and patient, even proactively helping us plan our sightseeing routes. The breakfast offered a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and the Chinese nourishing porridges were particularly comforting. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations. This is definitely my top choice for any future trips to Shanghai!
