The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom was meticulously cleaned with a full complement of toiletries provided. The breakfast spread was extensive and varied, offering both Chinese and Western options, and everything tasted absolutely delicious. What's more, the hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transport links and numerous dining and shopping options nearby. The service, facilities, and overall environment were all outstanding. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area!

Choosing Ascott Residence for my three-day stay in Shenyang was definitely the right call. The room wasn't cramped like a typical hotel room; it featured a small kitchenette for easily warming up food, and the spacious sofa was perfect for lounging and unwinding in the evenings. It's also conveniently located not too far from the subway station, offering a much greater sense of freedom and comfort than a standard hotel. I hope Ascott Shenyang continues to thrive!

Our stay was truly perfect. The room was incredibly spacious, making it ideal for families traveling with seniors and children. The only slight drawback was that the hotel lobby entrance was a bit tricky to locate. The nearest subway station is Shenyang Station, an old train station with unique architecture that's excellent for photos. While the breakfast selection wasn't vast, it was still quite enjoyable. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our choice!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being incredibly close to Shenyang Station. With numerous shopping malls and supermarkets in the vicinity, it's very convenient for both getting around and shopping. The hotel's facilities are consistent with Ascott's usual high standards, and the security is also commendable. However, improvements are needed regarding hotel service, specifically the timely replacement of bottled water and room cleaning. Also, if the welcome sweets have been sitting out for a long time, they really shouldn't be offered to guests.

This was my second stay at Somerset Shenyang. The room was generously sized, ideal for families. Rooms were in high demand, likely due to the summer holiday. We checked in, left our luggage, and went out for lunch. It's completely understandable for it to be busy during peak season. The front desk staff were apologetic about the wait, which I appreciated. The location is fantastic for dining, being very close to Taiyuan Street. The room was very well-equipped, particularly with a washing machine and a large refrigerator, which made our two-day stay incredibly convenient. On my first visit, the room's facilities felt quite dated and were due for a renovation. This time, I was allocated a newly renovated room. Both have their own merits: the older rooms have a cozier vibe, whereas the renovated ones offer more smart features. The service is impeccable; I wouldn't keep coming back otherwise. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and even the restaurant were consistently enthusiastic and helpful, despite being very busy. Hygiene standards were good. I personally find managed serviced apartments more reliable and secure. Just my personal opinion.

I've always liked staying at Somerset properties. While Somerset Shenyang's decor is a bit dated, its positives far outweigh this minor flaw. Firstly, the location is excellent, right on Taiyuan Street and just a few minutes' walk from Shenyang Station. We had booked a three-bedroom apartment, and the front desk kindly upgraded us to a three-bedroom executive suite. Breakfast was quite good, and the front desk service was friendly and attentive. We had a very pleasant three days in Shenyang.

It was fully stocked with all the necessary pots, pans, and cooking equipment. What truly impressed us was the complete set of plates and cutlery provided (a huge bonus for families!). This made it incredibly easy and convenient to prepare our own meals in the room, adding a lovely, homely touch to our stay. 4. **Family-Friendly**: The overall environment and facilities are exceptionally well-suited for families, making us feel truly looked after.

We had a wonderful stay recently. The reception staff was very helpful and even took the trouble to use her phone to check the direction to Xita from the hotel. She even led us for part of the way to ensure that we got the direction right. We booked a 2 bedroom but was given only 2 breakfast and the staff was kind to add on free breakfast for all 4 of us. We really appreciated the kind gesture. Staff at the breakfast place was also friendly and helpful. The apartment had a washing machine which was the main reason why we booked it and it really came in handy. Washing powder was also provided. However, the dryer function could be improved as it took a long time for the clothes to dry since the machine is a 2 in 1.

Amenities well maintained, location is favourable, and the receptions are very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. I will definitely stay here again!

Highly recommended, especially for group travellers or families! The condo-style unit was incredibly spacious, clean, and super comfortable — we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The front desk staff? Absolutely amazing. I had more than 10 parcels sent there before our arrival (yes, pre-trip online taobao shopping 🙈), and they had them neatly arranged on a trolley, ready to be sent to our room the moment we checked in. Talk about thoughtful service! Breakfast was more than enough — good variety and fresh every day. On days we skipped the buffet to visit the morning market, the staff even prepared drinks, fruits, and sandwiches for us to take on the go. Such a kind touch! Overall, we felt really well taken care of. Clean space, warm service, and great hospitality. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation. 💯

The location of this place is very good because it is v near to Shenyang Station and also near to Taiyuan Street. The breakfast buffet here is 100/100. The menu changed everyday which surprised me!! Cleanliness of the hotel can be improved. The facilities are rather old and there is a moldy smell in the room. We stayed at level 26 and booked a family room with two bathrooms which is great for us. However, the water from the common shower room can be hot and cold while you are showering giving us a shock every time we shower. It could be v cold, and it could be v hot after a while without adjustment. We are unsure what the issue was. We were only staying for 3 nights hence it didn't bother us to inform the front desk. The door was spoilt, unable to close the shower room door as well. Please look into it if possible. One thing to surface, we felt differential treatment from the front desk. We were in a lift with a Caucasian family, and we exited the lift together. The Caucasian family exited the place with the staff greeted VERY happily in english "GOOOOOOOD MORNING" so loudly that we were able to hear it. When the same staff saw us, he literally went from :D to -.- IMMEDIATELY and never greeted us. We would appreciate if the service level were the same to everyone.Service standard should be the same to everyone. We may be able to speak Mandarin and look Chinese but doesn't mean we are local.

The hotel is very clean and large. And all staff is kind👍 I have really good time here❤️😊
