This was my second stay here, and I had another fantastic experience. The cleanliness and overall atmosphere were excellent. I'll definitely be returning!

The location is excellent, right by the South Gate and just a three-minute stroll down a quiet lane. The area is very peaceful, and the room was impeccably clean. The host was incredibly welcoming and even upgraded my room. Although the window view was obstructed by a wall (which was noted upon booking), it didn't bother me at all, especially since I just closed the curtains for sleeping.

I love the atmosphere. The room is nice and comfy. The walking distance to Dali South Gate only takes for 3 minutes. It has rooftop view while I am doing my laundry. I can see the Dali South gate, the lake and the mountain. The hotel assistant is friendly and even offers me electric car as my didi ride could not be locating as I got roaming problems. Thanks for the hospitality!

I cannot praise enough how impressed I was with the hotel. This is simply the best hotel I stayed at during the entire trip in Yunnan. The location was excellent being so close to the ancient city. The room upgrade was simply the best ever for me. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Just loving it.

The room was very spacious and included a private bathroom with a shower. Its location right inside Dali Old Town made exploring incredibly convenient. It wasn't noisy at all at night, which allowed my elderly travel companions to sleep very comfortably.

Location is convenient right next to South Gate, staff is friendly and helpful, would recommend staying here!

I booked this for my elderly parents, and they were absolutely thrilled with their stay. They found the place spacious and bright. Couldn't have been happier! The owner was also very friendly. Highly recommended!

The host was very welcoming and attentive. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet at night, perfect for a good rest. The guesthouse is also conveniently located near the South Gate of Dali Ancient Town, just a 2-3 minute walk away.

The location is excellent, very close to the South Gate of the ancient city, which means you won't have to drag your luggage far on the cobblestone streets. (Heads up: navigation apps can sometimes be misleading and take you on a roundabout route. If your map shows a long walk after you arrive, it's best to call the owner directly.) The room was spotless and very well-maintained. They even provide a Dyson hairdryer, which is a real bonus for female guests. The owner provides exceptional service; he proactively helped us with our luggage. When we decided to extend our stay, a deluxe room happened to be available, and the owner generously upgraded us at a special rate. We are especially grateful for this.

The hotel is ideally located near the South Gate, with an abundance of dining and entertainment options in the vicinity. We booked a family room on the ground floor, which felt a little damp. Otherwise, everything was quite good. However, the window view was a drawback; opening the window meant looking directly at the wall of the hotel opposite, which seems to be a common issue with guesthouses in Dali. On a positive note, the laundry facilities upstairs were very convenient for washing and drying clothes, which was a huge plus!

The hotel is conveniently located at the South Gate of the Old City, with the easiest access point being from the G214 National Road. There's a rooftop area for drying clothes, and a washing machine is available. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly; I even called them to help retrieve my laundry from the rooftop when it looked like it might rain. Additionally, the South Gate has a tourist service center, which is really handy for catching buses to Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. Just a heads-up, make sure to go early – we arrived around 8 AM and were already told there was a 3-hour wait for the cable car!

Overall, very good. The place was spotless, the room was quiet, and the owner was very welcoming.
