The Grand Metropark Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Hangzhou will find that the Grand Metropark Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is conveniently located just 2km from Hangzhou Railway Station and 28km from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Longxiangqiao Metro Station within walking distance. This hotel is located near many of Hangzhou's attractions including Wulin Night Market, Former Residence of Hu Xueyan and China Academy of Art. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Hangzhou hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"I had a layover in Hangzhou and chose the Grand Metropark Hotel, located in the city center. Overall, my experience was excellent, with warm service, a prime location, and a rich cultural atmosphere. 📍 **Perfect Location, Easy Access to West Lake** The hotel is situated on the bustling Pinghai Road, about a 10-15 minute walk from West Lake. Intime Department Store, Wushan Night Market, and a subway station are all within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. There's also an airport shuttle stop right outside, which is a huge plus for air travelers. 🤝 **Service is the Highlight, Thanks for the Room Upgrade** I can't praise the hotel's service enough. From the front desk to housekeeping, the staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and attentive. The biggest surprise was during check-in when the front desk proactively upgraded my standard king room to an executive suite. The extra space was much appreciated, and I truly thank them for this thoughtful gesture. Any requests I had during my stay were promptly addressed, reflecting the deep service quality of a seasoned five-star hotel. 🎋 **Suite Facilities Showcase Unique Chinese Charm** The executive suite's amenities were truly impressive. The bookshelf was filled with classic Chinese books, and picking one up to read felt like a touch of ancient elegance. The desk featured the 'Four Treasures of the Study' (writing brush, ink stick, ink slab, and paper), making you want to try your hand at calligraphy. There was also a Go board, perfect for a leisurely game with family, adding a unique charm. After a busy day, soaking in the massage bathtub melted away all my fatigue. These thoughtful touches elevated the entire stay beyond mere accommodation; it felt like an immersive cultural journey, which my elders particularly enjoyed. 🏨 **The Unique Charm of an Established Hotel** As one of Hangzhou's older five-star hotels, it lacks the superficiality of newer establishments, instead exuding a settled and composed elegance. The guest rooms are spacious and grand, and both the cleanliness and bedding comfort were top-notch. The hotel's spiral staircase has a charming retro feel, and many guests take photos there, with every shot looking like a professional masterpiece."

The Redstar Culture Hotel (Hongxing Wenhua Dasha) is an elegant hotel located on the eastern section of West Lake Avenue. The hotel is within walking West Lake, Hangzhou's most popular attraction. There are a variety of beautifully-furnished rooms, some of which offer spectacular views over West Lake. Business, Eye Hospital of Zhejiang University ,executive and non-smoking floors are available. When it comes to dining, there are both Chinese and Western restaurants on the first and second floor of this Hangzhou hotel. For business travelers, the hotel has a business center and a wide selection of meeting and conference rooms.During their spare time, guests can play chess or poker, exercise in the gym, or melt away stress by getting a massage.

"It's taken me a while to write this review, but if you're visiting Hangzhou for the first time, I highly recommend this hotel. When they saw I was a solo female traveler, they upgraded me to a more spacious room. The breakfast was also very generous, and the hotel is close to the train station, making it easy to get to all the attractions by subway. I also have a strong memory of the gentleman at the entrance; he saw me approaching the hotel and immediately came down the steps to help me with my luggage, and he did the same when I left. The breakfast was indeed abundant, please forgive me for not taking many photos, but I truly recommend it!!"

"The B&B boasts a beautiful environment, with a large tea plantation right outside. The facilities inside are also great, featuring smart systems for curtains and lighting. It would be even more perfect if they had smart toilets. They offered a complimentary travel photography session, and the photos taken upstairs in the lobby turned out fantastic. The complimentary coffee was also very aesthetically pleasing. The location is convenient, with the 103 bus stop right outside the community entrance. It's only two bus stops to Lingyin Temple. Since ride-sharing services are restricted, the bus was definitely more convenient."

Grand Hyatt Hangzhou enjoys an iconic location on the east shore of the legendary lake, and is within walking distance of Hubin—the city’s main business, shopping and entertainment hub and the newly opened pedestrian block. It features 388 rooms and suites which designed to amplify the breathtaking lake view, the rooms feature an indulgent, comforting mix of textures in the wallcoverings and soft furnishings with subtle Chinese design elements appearing in the desk chair and wall art.The exclusive Grand Club Lounge offers complimentary breakfast, light refreshments available all-day, evening cocktails and canapés, as well as the use of the boardrooms and 24/7 assistance from the club concierge. On the 8th floor, the 240-sqm Presidential Suite with its 400-sqm outdoor terrace blessed with uninterrupted, panoramic views of West Lake makes for an exclusive and highly unique event venue for weddings, parties and corporate gatherings. Grand Hyatt Hangzhou’s seven exceptional dining venues provide a culinary experience like no other, highlighted by creative menus featuring a variety of both global and local cuisines. For guests seeking moments of relaxation, HUAN Spa & Fitness Center is a self-contained resort that reopened in 2019 within the hotel featuring an 82-foot-long heated indoor pool with a skylight ceiling, pool bar and stunning lake views. Guests can also workout on the latest cardio and strength training machines, as well as Power Plate platforms and TRX trainers, in the fitness center open 24-hours a day.

"I chose the Grand Hyatt for my internship in Hangzhou, and overall, it was a good experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the lake view was beautiful. I recommend prioritizing rooms on the 8th floor, as they offer more space. The hotel is a bit older, so the facilities feel a little dated, and the air conditioning wasn't very strong – I hope they can optimize that in the future. Getting around by taxi can be a bit tricky due to traffic and one-way streets, so it's good to plan ahead. The service was very attentive, and the staff were all enthusiastic, especially our concierge Cecilia (Cao Kaixuan), who was patient, meticulous, and communicated promptly throughout our stay, making us feel very well cared for. The breakfast quality was also good, and the juice was delicious. We even received a cute squirrel doll as a welcome gift, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I recommend it."

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

This hotel has a manor-style resort vibe and is wonderfully quiet, which I really appreciated. Its location is quite central, making it easy and quick to get to nearby attractions by taxi. There was a minor hiccup with the room upon check-in, but the staff were very responsive and resolved it quickly. Even during a public holiday, the service quality didn't drop, and there was no queue for breakfast. It's a shame it rained every day during the Dragon Boat Festival's plum rain season; I hope for sunny weather next time!

I injured my leg during my trip and had to use a wheelchair, but my stay here exceeded all expectations! The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly warm and attentive, and they even provided a shuttle service, which made getting around so convenient. A special shout-out to the security guard at the entrance – he was so kind and offered to take a photo of us. While his photography skills weren't the best, his thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming! The hotel has excellent accessibility; moving around in a wheelchair through the main entrance and elevators was completely smooth and hassle-free, making it very friendly for guests with mobility issues. The room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is full of thoughtful touches, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hangzhou!

Hidden gem in the Fuchun Mountains, this Japanese-style hotel instantly transports you to a Kyoto garden! ✨ Every room features a private onsen with a hinoki wood tub and 24-hour flowing water. Soaking in the evening as the garden lanterns light up creates an incredibly atmospheric experience. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful, and the check-in hand-washing and bell-ringing ceremony is a delightful touch. The nine-compartment breakfast is exquisite and delicious, perfect for photos. This is absolutely my top choice for a short getaway in Hangzhou!

The public areas are really well-equipped and beautifully designed, with potted green plants everywhere indoors. In contrast, the guest rooms are a bit of a letdown. Given the significant number of families staying here, which the hotel should be aware of, it's surprising that the TVs don't offer on-demand content or screen mirroring. Sometimes, you need a TV to entertain children, or when adults are busy and kids are alone. The bedding, in my opinion, is the biggest drawback. The pillows flatten completely the moment you lie down, offering no support whatsoever. The bed itself isn't comfortable to sleep on either. Although the hotel followed up and mentioned they could remove the mattress or provide buckwheat pillows, I still believe there's room for improvement in the room facilities. Most hotels manage to strike a balance without needing major replacements after check-in. I understand that many people take photos, which is hard to control. The public areas are beautiful enough, but please give more attention to the guest rooms. Otherwise, there are no other issues. The service is excellent, and the staff are generally very polite. They follow up on problems, and the service exceeded my expectations. The Shui Yang Chinese restaurant offers consistently good food. While not outstanding, the flavors and cooking are well-controlled and worth trying.

Sunset at Xianshan Peninsula: It feels like an island with a single hotel. First day minibar experience: Plenty of Nongfu Spring water! First day welcome fruit: Peaches were hard. Haha. Service: The hotel has a shuttle bus to the high-speed rail station, which is great. It's about 50 meters straight out from the exit. The schedule is fixed, so you need to plan ahead. It's still more suitable for self-driving. Surroundings: It's very convenient to get to Pixiu Town. There are hot air balloons, go-karts, and water activities. There's also a beer museum to visit with many activities inside, the VR is quite good. However, it's inconvenient to go to other places. Suitable for a vacation if you don't want a crowded experience. Facilities: Both indoor and outdoor swimming pools are available. Cleanliness: Relatively clean. Special Feature: There's an instant noodle bar from 9 PM to 11:30 PM. It gets so crowded it makes you question your life choices.

Olive from the concierge team arranged our entire itinerary and was super helpful with all our requests. Her service was incredibly warm and excellent. The room size here is very generous; we booked a twin room, and the facilities were top-notch. The cleaning staff came every morning to tidy up, empty the bins, and replenish supplies, and their attitude was also fantastic. The breakfast here is also very diverse.

An unforgettable luxury wellness retreat. I discovered Xixi Xin Hotel while searching for a peaceful escape, and it exceeded every expectation. The architecture is breathtaking, blending traditional Chinese culture with modern luxury in a way that feels elegant, authentic and incredibly calming. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. The suites are beautifully designed with natural, eco-friendly materials that create an instantly grounding atmosphere. Upon entering, you’re welcomed by a Marshall speaker with a curated selection of nature sounds—waves, birds, rustling leaves and crackling fire—setting the tone for complete relaxation. The bathroom is equally impressive, with beautiful curtains opening to a soaking spa prepared daily with fresh rose petals and natural bath salts. Thoughtful touches such as soft linen loungewear and complimentary disposable swimwear made the experience feel effortlessly luxurious. Service is truly five-star. Each suite is assigned a personal butler who is attentive, responsive and genuinely committed to making your stay effortless. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the hospitality was warm, personal and sincere. I was initially hesitant about the vegetarian restaurant, but it was one of the highlights of my stay. The dishes were nutritious, beautifully presented and worthy of fine dining, while still being surprisingly filling. For those who prefer meat, there are also excellent restaurants nearby. The wellness program is outstanding, with daily yoga, Tai Chi, sound baths, traditional Chinese medicine consultations and other healing experiences. Classes run for around an hour and are led by knowledgeable instructors who genuinely care about your wellbeing, creating a deeply relaxing and restorative experience. With only around 8–10 suites, the hotel remains wonderfully quiet and intimate, allowing guests to completely disconnect from the outside world. After just three nights, I left feeling genuinely relaxed, grounded and restored. A rare hidden gem that combines exceptional architecture, thoughtful design, impeccable service and meaningful wellness experiences. If you’re looking for a peaceful five-star retreat focused on luxury, wellness and tranquillity, I couldn’t recommend Xixi Xin Hotel more highly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was fantastic! The building itself is grand and eye-catching, and the nighttime ambiance is just wonderful. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in quick and efficient. My room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities one could need, giving it a very home-like feel. The bedding was so soft, I slept incredibly soundly. The public areas were clean and elegant, and overall, it offers great value for money. The location is also very convenient for getting around, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.
