牛灵芝Guest Feedback & Appreciation
Hotel: Bellagio
Staff Member Recognized: Mr. Gary
I have stayed at Bellagio on numerous occasions, both personally and while hosting business partners. Overall, the hotel’s facilities are good and suitable for business travelers. However, I have consistently felt that the service quality does not always match the standard of the facilities.
From my observation, many members of the service team are very young, with some being university students or interns. While they are polite, enthusiastic, and willing to help, they understandably lack practical experience. As a result, there have been occasions where commitments made by one staff member were not followed through, requests were delayed, or guests received little or no update on the progress. For example, some service requests took more than 30 minutes before any response or feedback was provided.
During my most recent stay, however, I experienced a noticeable difference because of Mr. Gary.
Unlike my previous stays, where feedback often ended without any follow-up, Mr. Gary responded promptly whenever an issue was raised. More importantly, he consistently followed up until the matter was resolved. Whenever an immediate solution was not available, he quickly proposed practical alternatives to ensure that my needs were met. His sense of ownership and commitment to guest satisfaction were clearly evident.
One example was when I was using the hotel’s meeting room. The meeting room display only supported HDMI, while most modern laptops now use Type-C connections. The hotel did not have a Type-C-to-HDMI adapter available. Upon noticing this, Mr. Gary immediately arranged for the use of a hotel computer as an alternative, allowing my meeting to continue without interruption. This was a thoughtful and effective solution that demonstrated excellent customer service and problem-solving ability.
There was also an occasion when I requested a clothes rack for my room. After waiting for more than 30 minutes, it still had not been delivered. Once I informed Mr. Gary, he immediately investigated the matter, ensured the request was fulfilled, and sincerely apologized for the delay.
On another occasion, I requested express laundry collection. Unfortunately, the garments were not collected until the following day. After I informed Mr. Gary, he immediately arranged for the issue to be handled. As the delay resulted from the hotel’s oversight, the express service charge was waived. I appreciated both the prompt recovery and the willingness to take responsibility for the mistake.
I would also like to offer a suggestion regarding the hotel’s laundry service. I believe there is still room for improvement in handling premium garments. Many high-end clothing brands use removable care labels for comfort, meaning the garments no longer have washing instructions attached. At several other international hotels, the laundry teams are experienced enough to identify the appropriate cleaning method based on the fabric and garment construction, supported by more advanced laundry equipment and processes. At Bellagio, however, the laundry team appeared less confident in handling such items. I hope the hotel will continue investing in staff training and equipment upgrades to further improve this service.
Overall, Bellagio offers very good facilities and provides a comfortable environment for both business and leisure travelers. While there are still opportunities to strengthen service consistency across the team, I would like to specifically recognize Mr. Gary for his professionalism, responsiveness, initiative, and strong sense of ownership.
His proactive attitude, effective communication, and genuine commitment to solving guests’ problems significantly improved my experience during this stay. Employees like Mr. Gary truly represent the level of hospitality that guests remember, and I sincerely hope the hotel recognizes and encourages more team members to demonstrate the

Guest UserI messaged them on WeChat beforehand to arrange a birthday setup and a personalized room key, and everything was perfectly arranged on the day of check-in. Upon arrival, Angel personally escorted me to the room, explaining the hotel facilities and the surrounding area along the way. Julie even gave me a small lion keychain. The service was impeccable, and they were very accommodating.
Breakfast was on the 52nd floor with an amazing view. A foreign lady in a red suit brought a small birthday cake and arranged a window-side sofa seat for me. Enjoying breakfast while overlooking Lujiazui was a wonderful experience.
The room faced the Bund directly, offering an unparalleled view. The pool was well-maintained, and I particularly enjoyed the hot spring area.
While the hardware might be a bit older, as the saying goes, 'an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari' – the classic charm and quality are definitely there. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

Guest UserArt in the Clouds, a Pillow of Pujiang Moonlight – An Immersive Experience at J Hotel, Shanghai Tower
People often say that luxury living is about ostentation and art is something to be admired from afar. Yet, at J Hotel, perched 632 meters atop the Shanghai Tower, these two finally coexist and blend harmoniously. It's a flowing art museum, suspended above the clouds, filled with Eastern essence and international aesthetics. During my two-day stay, every step revealed meticulous craftsmanship, and every glance was poetic. The eight-meter-high Chinese-style entrance, with its transparent crystals, reconstructs memories of old Shanghai. Vermilion textures, interspersed with tiny crystals, refract subtle light, weaving the vibrant life of Shanghai with modern translucence into an opening overture. Before even stepping into the elevator, one knows this is no ordinary hotel. Six transparent crystal Roman columns rise directly from the marble floor to the arched dome, where Eastern and Western aesthetics gently converge.
The marble floor's ripple patterns subtly evoke landscapes. Strolling through feels like wandering through a private art gallery, with every turn hiding an unexpected aesthetic surprise. The 'J' logo is deconstructed into four magnolia petals, hinting at elegant character. There's no excessive, cluttered extravagance; only restrained, high-end brushstrokes narrate the unique Eastern romance of a domestic top-tier luxury brand. It doesn't deliberately pursue Western opulence but firmly upholds the unique warmth and depth of local culture. A perfect five stars, wholeheartedly recommended. I will definitely return for this artistic encounter in the clouds. True art never forcefully grabs attention; instead, it subtly permeates the soul, much like the service provided by Eve Xiang.

Booked this hotel for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and their birthdays. The hotel found out and immediately arranged for a Peninsula cake and fruit. The cake was so delicious we ate it all before I could take a picture! My parents mentioned they liked the tea bags, and the staff promptly provided more for them. They also quickly came to teach them how to use the coffee machine. My parents were very happy. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious, and the location is superb. We also went to the jazz bar on the 14th floor to see the night view, which was absolutely stunning.

Guest UserOur stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean and tidy with a great view. Our butlers, Deslin and Lily, provided attentive and thoughtful service, proactively following up on all our needs and responding quickly. Any issues we had were promptly and properly resolved. Their considerate care was just right, and the cleaning was very timely, with towels replaced swiftly. This made the whole trip feel very pleasant and is highly recommended. It's also worth mentioning that the cleaning staff on our floor on the morning of our departure were very friendly, once again highlighting the hotel's meticulous service. I hope the hotel can pay attention to the showerhead and sink faucet in the room, as the water pressure is too strong and often splashes out, getting clothes wet.
The room offers a different Banyan Tree themed incense or essential oil (optional) daily.

Denden_Explore the worldWhen I was choosing a hotel, I fell in love with the room at the Shanghai Club at first sight, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The room was even more beautiful than I imagined, with meticulously designed details everywhere. It felt exquisite and elegant, perfectly matching the hotel's overall style. The hotel's service was also top-notch – professional and just the right amount of warmth, which made me feel very comfortable. If I had to point out one thing, the room might have been a tiny bit damp, but in Shanghai, and in an old building, that's understandable and didn't affect my stay.
The breakfast options weren't extensive, but there was enough to eat, and the taste was decent, neither outstanding nor poor. The main draw here was definitely the ambiance.
Although I didn't sit at the bar in LongBar, the sofa seating was still an excellent experience. I really enjoyed the 'retro' style of service here.
Perhaps because of the typhoon, there didn't seem to be many guests, which gave me the luxurious feeling of having the space almost entirely to myself.

The Travel BugWe had a wonderful stay at W Shanghai – The Bund and would definitely choose to stay here again. The hotel is stylish, very clean, and the facilities are excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We really appreciated that they accommodated a late check-out after our flight was delayed, which made the end of our trip much less stressful.
The breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, with plenty of variety each morning. We also enjoyed spending time at the outdoor pool and fitness centre, both of which were well maintained. One of the highlights was the outdoor bar area overlooking the Bund – it’s a beautiful place to relax in the evening with amazing views of the Shanghai skyline.
The location is excellent and within walking distance of the Bund, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend W Shanghai – The Bund to anyone visiting Shanghai. It offers great service, excellent facilities, and an unforgettable view.

Nakaji1108Huge thanks to Daniel from customer service for his thoughtful and attentive service during my stay. He proactively called me before check-in to arrange welcome fruits according to my preferences and prioritize a higher floor room with a better view. His attention to detail was exceptional. Overall, I was very satisfied with the stay; the service was meticulous and reliable. For future visits to the Xintiandi area, I will definitely choose Andaz Xintiandi, Shanghai again. Highly recommended!
