"Overall, it was okay. The location is great, right by the subway exit, which is very convenient. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, and check-in was quick. The room size was decent; I think it's fine for two people. It looked pretty clean with no strange odors. There were a few TV channels to watch, haha, but most of the other channels were very blurry. And I thought the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and taste.
However, the room window, though large, couldn't be opened... so we had to rely on the air conditioning all day. It felt a bit stuffy, damp, and somewhat oppressive. Also, the AC was quite noisy, and there were tiny ants on the bed. There was also a connecting door to the adjacent room, but it required both sides to be unlocked simultaneously, so if our side was locked, they couldn't get in. The soundproofing wasn't great; I could hear conversations from next door very clearly. But surprisingly, it was quiet at night when sleeping.
All in all, I think it was decent. I had read various reviews online and was worried it would be a bad experience, but often you have to experience it yourself to know. Everyone has different tolerance levels. The one thing I couldn't stand was not being able to open the window... it was like booking a windowless room and staying there for several nights, haha. Everything else was fine."
