"Great experience and no complaints! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very well taken care of. Lobby is pleasant and welcoming. Rooms are adequate so as to not feel crammed and well equipped with comfy beds, fridge, tv, chairs, plugs, reading lamps. Bathrooms with needed amenities and spacious and well ventilated. Very attentive staff that respond wtih swiftness, and we know since we had to call multiple times in a single day for multiple needs we had as a family. Food is great, bfast was included, dinner was wonderul! Once we had to skip bfast and they gave us individually packed bfasts for all 3 of us. Special mention and thanks to manager Ameer who is very personably and gives exquisite attention to detail. He touched base with us at every opportunity and provided great insights to our trip including the travel we were doing after our stay. He even made special accomodations and made it possible for us to celebrate our daughter's bday with cake and flowers last minute. We had guests over one night and he was very willing to help us areange transport to their hotel late night. Overall, excellent stay, 10/10 recommend to everyone and would def return if back in srinagar!"

The rooms were clean, hygienic, and comfortable, and the food was delicious. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were impressive. The staff were extremely courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, making our stay even more enjoyable. The only drawback is the location of the hotel, which is not ideal. Apart from that, we were very satisfied with our experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Note- Hotel must follow checklist and keep required things as per number of guests before arrival of the guests in the room."

"The location was superb next to Dal Lake. The family room was very spacious with two wash rooms and pleasent interiors & most importantly the heaters working fine in this cold weather. The entire premises was clean. The atmosphere was very friendly with entire staffs being very courteous. A special mention of Mr. Sajad A Bhat, the Manager who was very accommodative by arranging all requirements like transport etc. Mr. Manzoor the chef was amazing. All these above factors made our family stay in Srinagar very memorable."

"We had a wonderful experience staying for one night at Welcomheritage Gurkha Houseboat. The location of this Houseboat is at Nigeen Lake, which is very peaceful and away from the hustle of Dal Lake. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The entire houseboat is kept impeccably clean and well maintained. The caretaker, Maqbool Chacha and his staff, really made our stay very comfortable and memorable."

"Their facilities are just ok .we payed 3500 around per night and it is not worth it. Room no 202 has a bathroom door which is angled towards window and you have to squeeze into the bathroom .if you get the room at 1500-2000 or something, u might feel OK. But I would not suggest this place . It is more of a home stay but not worth the price I paid and the actual room is not at all good as it looks in pic. Dinner have to be booked in advance before 3PM. No much places around to get food and it becomes difficult."

No water in washrooms and frequent powercuts..food was below average and were served only poha with watery tea for breakfast and didn't have second serving.If we wish to experience modest living without food , water , powersupply and entertainment, we can opt this '3 star hotel'"
