"We stayed at The Orchard Retreat & Spa on 1st May 2026 during our Kashmir family trip, and liked it so much that after a day's gap exploring elsewhere, we came back and stayed again on 3rd May. Choosing to return mid-trip is honestly the best review I can give a property. The ambience is the standout — quiet, green, and well laid out, with that resort-like feel that lets you actually unwind. The accommodation is cottage-style rather than a typical hotel block, which adds a lot to the experience: more privacy, more character, and a nice connection to the outdoors. On the amenities side, the property does more than tick boxes — the gym is well-equipped, the swimming pool is clean and inviting, and the games room was a real hit with the family. Easy to spend a relaxed half-day on the property itself without feeling restless. A solid recommendation if you want a calm, family-friendly base in Srinagar. We'd come back again on our next Kashmir trip."

"Nice, but costly. Location is good. Food taste is average, not a variety of food, just dal nd vegetable in dinner.. Shikara ride was good. Rooms nd drawing room was good nd clean. But water in washroom was stinking like anything, it was hell. We couldn't even brush with that water, it was from dal lake. Staff name Inayat was very helpful. Overall good experience."
