Excellent
WWalk n SeeA Pleasant Stay at a Brand-New Hanting Hotel in Beijing. I recently stayed at this Hanting Hotel in Beijing during a winter trip in December 2025, and it turned out to be a great budget-friendly choice. As a brand-new property (opened right around this time), everything felt fresh and modern, which made the experience stand out compared to older chain hotels. The staff are friendly and pro-active to help considering my limited chinese. I give them 5 out 5 stars because thats is the same service level i get when i am in 5 star hotel. Location: The hotel is conveniently situated just outside a residential complex, literally a one-minute walk to the main street. It’s quiet yet accessible perfect for avoiding the hustle of central Beijing while still being close to amenities, shops, and transport options. No complaints here; it struck a nice balance between peace and convenience. Facilities and Design: The lobby is cozy and appropriately sized—not too grand, but welcoming. What surprised me pleasantly was how large the hotel actually is once you explore it. The overall design theme is warm and relaxing, with soothing tones and modern touches that create a calming atmosphere throughout. Room Experience: For the price point, the room was impressively spacious. It was sparkling clean (as expected from a new hotel), with a large, comfy bed topped with four plush pillow, perfect for a good night’s rest. There’s a big TV, and the bathroom is a decent size with a spacious shower and toilet. Winter in Beijing can be brutal, but the heater worked wonderfully, keeping the room toasty and comfortable. The real highlight was the smart features: voice commands control everything, lights, curtains, TV, and other appliances. It felt futuristic and super convenient! The One Drawback: The only downside I encountered was a lingering smoke smell in the corridor near the elevators on the second night. Apparently, a guest had smoked while walking to his room, and while the staff responded quickly by spraying air freshener, the ventilation system didn’t fully clear it out. I understand that smoking tolerance can be more lenient in some places in China (even in restaurants), but for a brand-new hotel in the capital, I hoped they’d enforce stricter no-smoking policies to set a better standard. It didn’t ruin the stay, but it was noticeable. Final Thoughts Overall, this Hanting Hotel exceeded my expectations for a budget chain, clean, modern, comfortable, and packed with thoughtful features like voice control and solid service from all the staffs. It’s a solid option for travelers wanting value without sacrificing quality. I’d stay again and recommend it, especially if you’re looking for something new and relaxing in Beijing. Just hope they tighten up on the smoking rules moving forward!

NNadineStaThis hotel was very convinient for us. Its directly at a metro Station that connects the city with the airport. Therefore we were quickly there, sadly most of Bejings Metro Station dont have Elevator or escalator so it was a bit of the struggele but still convenienct location. We started a trip with Mubus to Great Wall, meeting point was very close 3 Minute walk. Metro also 3 minutes walk. Hotel room big enough and clean. For non chinese speaker the Air Con at least in our room was a struggel since it was speak activated. The cleaning lady was very helpful and started it for is. We ask the man at the reception to speak us an audio message so that we could stop it. This should be opimised since the hotel welcomes foreigners. Loved the Option to recieve Packages over this hotel since my friend ordered stuff from Taobao for me and send it to the hotel even days before i arived, much appriciated.

MMaodelvxingxiangThis hotel offers the best value for money in the area; other hotels nearby cost 400-500 yuan and have smaller rooms. The location is excellent, very close to Dongzhimen and Yonghegong Temple, with plenty of dining options nearby. We arrived at 10 PM and were given complimentary roasted sweet potatoes, and they even upgraded our room! The room was spacious, featuring a massage chair and a bathtub. We are very satisfied!

GGuest UserWe only spent one night in the room, but the experience was good. The room was clean, there were plenty of towels, two pairs of slippers, and plenty of pillows. The bathroom had all the necessary accessories. We liked everything. The room didn't have a window, but we didn't really need one. The air conditioning and huge TV worked great. We were happy with everything.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for 4 days in May and we booked a queen size bed room with no window. The first day we saw a huge cockroach in the room, we were highly disappointed. But the receptionist was very kind and offered us a king size bed room with a window with no extra charge! It was awesome! After that they apologized again and even gave us gifts, so I am satisfied now. I have to warn you: the hotel does not have a lobby or a dining room, the ”breakfast” tgat is included in the price looks just like on the first picture. It's just a bun, soy milk and an egg. Other than that, our experience was fine. A solid 4 for this price in Beijing.

AAmulizeyuancanFacilities: There's a bed, a TV, a bathroom, and a window that opens to a trash chute (definitely don't open it, people throw all sorts of garbage down there). Hygiene: It's cleaned daily, and even though the room is old, I really appreciate how clean the staff keeps it. Environment: The room is old, enclosed, and gets stuffy and hot without the air conditioning on. Rooms with 'A' in the name don't even have real windows (just fake ones 🤭). Summary: The location of this place is excellent – 100 meters to the subway entrance and 200 meters to the West Gate of the Temple of Heaven. It's super convenient for getting around. If comfort is a priority, I recommend their non-'A' rooms, but they are generally over 100 RMB more expensive. The biggest advantages here are the location and the reasonable price. Aside from these two points, you'll have to put up with everything else.

GGuest UserI have been staying in this hotel since I came back a few years ago. It is very humane and upgraded me to a standard room on a high floor for free. I asked for a few more pairs of slippers, and they were given to me the day before yesterday. The price-performance ratio is very high. I will stay here again next time.

CClayton TrekkerLonghu building is near to the scenic site entrance and about 5mins walk. You can access via the restaurant as a short cut and having breakfast there. The rooms is clean and the bed is large and able to cater for 2pax. One toilet located on top of the level and washing machine available. Any issue you can WeChat the incharge and he responses well. You can order food via their service menus. At night around 8pm can watch drone show from the room. Overall moderate to good accommodation.

YYixiaoyueThe room amenities weren't great. In the first room, 213, the door couldn't be deadbolted, and the bed was so old it creaked loudly with every turn, making it hard to sleep at night – I was afraid to even move! The bathroom curtain didn't block out any light, and it kept letting light in from different spots, making me feel exposed while showering. There were no tissues in the room, only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, which was inconvenient as I had to go to the bathroom every time I needed a tissue. For the next four days, I stayed in room 109 on the first floor, which was better, at least the door lock worked. The only issue was that the water heater in the triple room was too small for three people to shower consecutively; one person had to wait half an hour after the other, and this was in 20-degree weather – I can only imagine how bad it would be in winter! The female receptionist was very kind, but the male receptionist's service attitude needs improvement. The male and female staff sitting at the front entrance, I'm not sure what their roles were, but their service was just average. Overall, I wasn't very satisfied.
