Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, smart toilet, smart speaker, and electric curtains in the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. However, there's only one elevator, so expect a wait during peak hours. The room has a balcony, but the soundproofing could be improved. Hygiene: Up to standard, no obvious flaws, but there's room for improvement. Environment: Located on a corner at a crossroads, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The subway station is right downstairs, and Changying Tianjie shopping mall is just across the street. Very convenient. However, the window faces an office building, which is quite close. Service: Excellent. Quick response and a great attitude. They even upgraded my room proactively. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The courtyard house is beautifully renovated and very modern internally. The breakfast is delicious and different varieties daily. I am impressed with the clean spacious room. The very helpful reception staff that is always smiling and ready to help. The sturdy umbrella provided when it's raining outside. The complementary photo sessions. The proximity to major attractions sites and walking distance to food and convenience store. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Beijing.

Excellent value for money! The location is absolutely perfect, right by the subway exit, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and odor-free, and the mattress offered great support, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Facilities are comprehensive, including smart room control and a mini-fridge. They also have a self-service gym and laundry room. Zhiwen and Wanbao provided exceptionally thoughtful service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, highly recommended.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We were there for 4 nights. We were 5 people sharing a family room. Room was fine. Service excellent. Breakfast very good. You just order what you want the day before breakfast. We also had afternoon tea which was splendid. The staff washed our clothes for free. Brilliant service. The interior of the hotel is very picturesque. The hotel is situated some 300 meters from an exciting area with lots of restaurants and lively streets. They also arranged a taxi for our three adult children when they left for the airport in the middle of the night. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel itself is clean, stylish, and has a nice overall design. Unfortunately, the service and our actual experience during the stay were extremely disappointing, especially considering how expensive this hotel is compared with other hotels in the area. The biggest issue was the room we were given. The room advertised on the booking platform showed two large windows, and this was one of the main reasons we specifically chose this hotel. We wanted the room shown in the listing because we wanted the panoramic view and the two large windows. However, when we arrived, we were given a different room that did not match the room shown in the listing. Nobody informed us that we were being given a different room or explained why. Because we were tired when we arrived, we did not immediately notice the difference. By the time we realized that the room did not look like the one we had booked, we had already unpacked and used the room. We then contacted the hotel about the issue, including trying to reach them by email, but nothing was resolved during our stay. We were never provided with the room that was actually advertised in the listing, nor was the situation properly resolved or explained to us. This is especially disappointing because the room and its two large windows were an important part of the reason we chose and paid for this hotel. The check-in experience was also very poor. When we arrived, there was no real welcome or communication from the staff. They spent around 5 minutes talking among themselves while trying to figure out our booking, and then had difficulty processing our passports. The entire check-in process took roughly 15 minutes, during which nobody actually explained what was happening or communicated with us. I eventually had to interrupt their conversation and ask what was going on because I wanted to help get the process moving. Later that evening, we had another issue with a delivery. The delivery driver contacted us to say it had been delivered, but around 11 minutes passed with no notification or call from the hotel. We had no idea what was happening and had to contact the reception ourselves. I speak Chinese, so this was not a language-barrier issue. When I called, I was told that there were too many deliveries at the hotel and that we simply needed to wait. There was no apology or acknowledgment that we had been left waiting without any information. I explained that the delivery was a cake and that I was concerned it would melt if we had to wait much longer. Only then did the staff take action. Even though the delivery was eventually brought to us, the overall handling of the situation was not what we would expect from a hotel at this price level.

The hotel is conveniently located a 5-6 minute walk from Sanyuanqiao subway station, away from the noise of main roads. The signage, dining, and decor meet international guest standards. The rooms are compact but fully functional. Alcohol wipes are provided to sanitize the toilet seat. The shower stall is space-efficient, with a dry-wet curtain that separates the areas while also ensuring privacy. Lighting controls are user-friendly, though the actual room temperature was slightly higher than what the AC display showed. The minibar offered a good selection of soft drinks, but I couldn't find the usual instant coffee and tea bags, perhaps encouraging guests to visit the unique lobby bar on the first floor. The scent in both the room and public areas was pleasant, and soft background music played during breakfast. This hotel offers excellent value for money and was perfect for my solo business trip. While there are billiards and game machines in the lobby, I didn't have time to enjoy them. If the price remains affordable, this will be my top choice for business trips to Beijing. It's incredibly convenient for both the Airport Express and subway, and the surrounding area is upscale and peaceful.

A friend who was accompanying my daughter to take an exam recommended this hotel to me. I felt very comfortable when I opened the door. I booked an executive double room. The room was large and clean. Both the front desk and the cleaning lady were very enthusiastic and helpful. There was unlimited drinking water in the room. The service was very thoughtful. Next time I have the chance to come to Beijing, this will be my first choice!

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. This Manxin Hotel in Wangfujing has an absolutely fantastic location. Quanjude Roast Duck is right next door, making dining incredibly convenient. You can walk to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, which is a huge plus for families traveling with children. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the staff are warm and attentive. After a long day of sightseeing, you can easily pop back to the hotel to rest. The surrounding hutongs and commercial streets are also close by, making it easy to get around and find food and drinks. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Beijing!

The location and cleanliness are wonderful. Right next to the ”Champs Elysees” of Beijing. May I kindly suggest to add a fee to continue proposing the collecting and cleaning which is displayed on the hotel website? It is confusing for guests to see a service proposed and not performed. See hotel website and joint pic of sign to hang on door in Chinese , didn't take a pic of the basket. Also if the receptionist asks you to bring down your dirty laundry basket (placed in the room) to the lobby, it can be perceived as gross by clients as you do not bring dirty clothes in a hotel lobby. Such things are not done and not to be suggested by the receptionist. Finally, most guests on holiday are happy to pay and have laundry done. It is a service we had in other hotels in China free or paid. 2 machines and 2 driers for so many rooms is not enough. Visiting all day(Beijing is huge) and staying up to 1.30 am doing laundry in a queue is tough during holidays. This needs to be corrected or crossed out on the hotel website so clients know beforehand. Overall positive though.
