"The view from the window is really super beautiful, so beautiful that it seems unreal. Hahaha. During the two-day stay, I didn't meet a Chinese front desk. It was a bit difficult for those who are not good at English to communicate. The breakfast room has a Chinese menu, but the breakfast is very Western. A little koala is given for children to add a bed. The hotel is not very convenient around. You can only walk to the observatory and you have to take a taxi when you go out. But the beautiful scenery is enough. The room with the opera house view that I booked was arranged in the last few rooms, and there were trees behind! Fortunately, the floor is OK. We are on the 2nd floor, which is 0-3 floors. Room ordering is available 24 hours a day, and the price is not expensive and is similar to that outside. There is no service charge and the appearance and taste of the products are not bad. After returning to China, when I checked the mailbox bill, I found that I was charged for an extra breakfast on the second day. It was troublesome to send an email to the hotel myself. I contacted Ctrip and communicated with it. I received a call reply within two hours, and the hotel refunded me the extra fee on the third day. Thank you Ctrip for your active communication."

"The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning view from our room and balcony—absolutely amazing. The location couldn’t have been better, with most attractions within walking distance. Watching the Vivid Light Show from the comfort of our balcony was a particularly memorable experience.
However, the room itself was quite dated and in need of refurbishment. The carpet was noticeably worn with dark patches, and parts of the bathroom were peeling. On the plus side, housekeeping did service the room daily, which was appreciated.
One downside was the misleading information about parking. Although the website mentioned parking, there was none available on-site. We had to use Wilson's parking next door, which came at a steep price.
All in all, I’d recommend this hotel for the location and views alone, but be prepared for a room that’s seen better days."

"The room at the hotel was spacious and offered enough room to comfortably settle in, which I appreciated. However, I couldn't help but notice that the facilities appeared a bit dated and could use some modern upgrades. Additionally, there was a noticeable odd smell in both the room and the hallways that was less than welcoming. While the stay was overall acceptable, these issues did detract from the experience."
"Location was amazing, and you can park there too. Valet parking, just pull up at the side of the building and let the reception know. The pool on the roof has impressive views of both the bridge and the opera house. Our bathroom could have done with a lick of paint but the room was clean and well kept."
"I was so lucky to choose YHA Sydney harbour The Rock for my first trip in Sydney. The staff at the reception have a warm service attitude and always give a smile, which makes me feel friendly.
It's very well located, just a few minutes' walk from Circular Quay, and it's easy to get anywhere by Train/Line/ferry.
It is worth mentioning that the rooftop of the third floor has an excellent view, and you can lie on the chair at night, blowing the night breeze, and enjoy the most comfortable moment of the day.
The only drawback I would say is that the room is a little small, and the roommate who occasionally came back late may affect other‘s sleep."
"Maxime, the front desk staff was friendly and
helpful. Recognise me again when we met at the lift the next day. Helpful to advise to deduct the payment from the deposit for the buffet breakfast on the second night, so facilitate me to do express checkout, email me receipt so that it is also environmental friendly and saving time to catch the next morning flight.
Facilities are ok with pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna (though small pool and close at 8 pm) while gym 7/24 good and many equipment.
room with good view of the opera house.
Breakfast was good with fresh orange juice and many varieties like Parma ham"
"The front desk lady gave me a free upgrade so that I could have a better view for darling harbour.
All staff I met were friendly and helpful.
Smart TV contained airplay/chromcast function
The hotel is not accessible friendly for walking as guests need to take some stairs or sloping road"
"Marriott hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance from Circular Quay Station. Many restaurants nearby, but many closes by 8pm. Nearest McDonald’s opens 24hours, located just opposite the train station. Pitt Street Mall is a 15 minutes walk down the street. Shopping malls and supermarkets are located there. Sydney Opera House is also within walking distance from hotel.
Booked 2 rooms, placed request to have both rooms on the same level but they did not accommodate to the request. So we had 2 rooms on 2 levels. Which was quite inconvenient. One of the rooms we were allocated had a bathtub and separate rain shower area. Rooms were of decent size. Pillows were uncomfortable. Right opposite of the hotel was an office building. Opera House is located to the left of the window. Caught a firework show on my last night there as there was an event at the opera house.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Marriott."
