Great value. The room was spacious enough and the facilities were decent. It was also quiet at night, and there's a fantastic lamb offal soup restaurant nearby. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy.

The advantage is that there's a bus right outside the hotel that goes to the Maijishan Grottoes. We came to Tianshui specifically for the grottoes, so getting around was very convenient. However, the hygiene was really bad. There was such a large bloodstain on the pillow, and they didn't even bother to change the pillowcase? I booked this place after seeing reviews that it used to be Atour. The room is spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast is also very rich. Most importantly, the bed was super comfy, which was a great relief after being a bit tired from traveling.

Coming out of Tianshui South Station, I took a ride-sharing car for 7 yuan to the hotel. The service was excellent, and they gave me a quiet room on the 5th floor. It felt very safe to use the key card to access my floor. The room was spacious and bright, and both the memory foam pillow and mattress were very comfortable. The cups at Atour have cute designs. The restaurant was clean and offered a wide variety of dishes. The 'roujiamo' (meat burger) made by the auntie was soft and glutinous, and its small size meant it wasn't too filling. hotel was not in a strategic location, where there wasn't much food around the hotel. But it was near to Maijishan tourist attraction. Breakfast variety was subpar compared to other Atour hotel.

Facilities: Even though it's been open for many years, and I used to choose to stay here when it was Atour, it's still well-maintained. The only thing missing is a refrigerator. Excellent location, 5 min taxi distance of Tianshuinan train station. Hotel staff, in particular the front desk gentleman was very helpful with planning our trip to Maijishan Grottoes. Room has Philips tv so we could connect our laptop with a HDMI cable and watch western movie. If you visit Maijishan, the taxi to the visitor center is ¥40, sometimes fixed fee ¥60, no more. It is 30 minutes from the hotel. At the visitor center you purchase tickets. We preordered them with the help of the front desk but it turned out that was not needed, there are enough tickets out of mayor high season. From the visitor center you take the bus to the grottoes. If you have time, purchase special tickets for private entrance to some of the more special grottoes. The regular visit takes appr 2 hours. The hotel has a washing area, very convenient and an excellent breakfast.
