The location is incredibly convenient. For this trip, I relied on a mix of taxis and public transport. Higashi-Ginza Station is a super convenient 2-minute walk downstairs, and Ginza Station is just 5 minutes away, offering fantastic access to all parts of the city. There's also a convenience store directly across the street.
It was perfect for daily shopping in Ginza. Even returning to the hotel past midnight felt very safe, thanks to its location on a main road, which offered great peace of mind.
A minor downside was the lack of skincare products, and the toothbrush provided was quite stiff. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the public bath due to my tattoos, so I missed out on that experience.
Overall, everything was excellent. The front desk staff, both younger and older ladies, were all incredibly kind and could communicate in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Their attitude was wonderful, and the service was very warm and enthusiastic. They even complimented my neck pillow, saying it was cute, haha.
I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo! Highly recommended! 👍🏼💯

This is my second stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda Tokyo, and I've been thoroughly impressed overall. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for future trips.
**Facilities:** The rooftop outdoor onsen is a major highlight; it was actually the main reason I decided to rebook. It's wonderfully relaxing to soak in after a long day of sightseeing.
**Cleanliness:** The hotel is exceptionally clean, with meticulous housekeeping.
**Environment:** The ambiance is excellent, and it's incredibly quiet. The soundproofing is superb – you can barely hear any noise from neighboring rooms or from outside.
**Service:** The staff were outstanding. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, and their English communication skills were excellent.

The best hotel I’ve stayed so far in Tokyo. Ginza is my most favorite district in Tokyo, and knowing Ginza as a luxury place, it is surprising to be at a 4-star hotel that doesn’t break the bank. I love the location that it is near to everything that you need - train station, Don Quijote, konbini, pharmacy, malls. The cherry on top - the great view of the skyscrapers of Tokyo, especially the Tokyo tower from a distance. I like how the room is designed to have a great view of the skyscrapers as well aside from the lobby. The room was quite small, but I do understand due to the limited spaces and such in Japan. Even though the room is small, I’d still give it a 5/5 due to the overall cleanliness, view, amneties, elegance and luxurious vibe that doesn’t need to be expensive, great toilet and bath as special mention. The staffs are very helpful and attentive. Their simple greetings and smiles are more than enough to make you feel welcome and brighten up your day/night. If I would go back to Tokyo in the next couple of months, I will definitely book again on this hotel, as this is the gem I’ve found.
If the management will allow, I would like to have a special mention to Sue (I’m not sure if the spelling is correct). She is very attentive to me and helped me ensure that me and my dad’s luggage are secured, and of course when it was time for me to get the luggage. She is polite and made me felt warm with the little and quick side conversation we had. Hope to see Sue again when I come back. It is nice to meet her, and hopefully may keep in touch.
Thank you management team for always keeping your guests welcome and at home.

Wonderul hotel set in a modern part of a quiet Tokyo. The hotel is only a few stops away from Shinjuku and Shibuya, so you avoid the overcrowdedness.
The hotel is very clean and the rooms and topped up with amenities everyday.
The staff members are lovely and very friendly, I had absolutely zero complaints about anything in that complex.
I am so glad I picked Mitsui to stay. I had option and the budget to pick the more well known MNC brands, but something pulled me to support a home grown brand, because I have been to a many established chain in overseas who had places that were very disappointing and substandard. Hence my choice to support a local brand, and I am glad I supported a local brand i.e. supports the economy of the country and the people.
Thank you Mitsui for a wonderful stay. If I come again, I'll be sure to stay with you again.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near Ginza, making it convenient to get anywhere. Subway stations are just a short walk in every direction. I stayed at this hotel for my entire three-day trip to Tokyo. The rooms are admittedly quite small; it would be impossible to open two suitcases simultaneously. However, that's often the case with Japanese hotels, and for this price and location, it's already quite good. The hotel building is quite tall, but the lobby and check-in area aren't particularly spacious. There's a restaurant downstairs, but I didn't try it, as there were countless delicious eateries in the vicinity. Daily housekeeping was provided, and the service was good overall.

Fairly sized room with 3 single beds. I had a good rest at the hotel. Location is good as it is closed to the Keisei line to go to Narita airport. For who loves night life, it’s a great location. One thing can be improved is the number of coin laundry machines , very limited , only had 1 machine at certain level, which I had to wait until 3am to collect my laundry.
The hotel boasts an excellent location near Daimon subway station, which offers direct lines to both Haneda and Narita airports. Tokyo Tower and Ginza are within comfortable walking distance. Odaiba is also easily reachable, just four stops from Shiodome Station, and major hubs like Shinjuku and Shibuya are approximately five to six subway stops away.
The hotel environment is pleasant, and the rooms are adequately sized. My sole regret was that the bidet function on the smart toilet in our room was faulty. We reported it to the front desk, but it wasn't fixed. (On a side note, as is common in Japan, the toilet paper is notably thin and designed to dissolve quickly.)
Right downstairs, you'll find 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson convenience stores. For more dining options, particularly small local restaurants, a short walk towards Daimon Station is required. A nice bonus is that some high-floor rooms offer views of Tokyo Tower.

The hotel location is ideal for exploring Roppongi. Everything is a short walk away, lots of shops and restaurants abound. Walking out in the day and night is safe, there are plenty of people around.
Our receptionists on check in and check out were pleasant and professional, spoke good English and very efficient in their response to our requests
The bedroom is very clean , not musky and adequate for a couple with 2 medium suitcases. The standard amenities include a daily change of pyjamas- that’s a great convenience, can pack less clothes and buy more stuff!
This hotel was a friend's recommendation for my business trip to Tokyo. Its location is fantastic, with a subway entrance right downstairs. The night views from the hotel are absolutely beautiful 🌃. The staff were also incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. Breakfast was quite good. However, a word of advice: make sure to book dinner in advance! 😂 My friend and I missed out because we didn't have a reservation... After a day of work, a relaxing soak in the tub 🛀 was just what I needed to unwind. The bedding was top-notch, guaranteeing a very comfortable and peaceful sleep. But what I appreciated most was the immediate feeling of the space upon entering: it was spacious and elegantly designed. The combination of lighting, music, and the quality of the furniture materials created a truly relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. I'd definitely return here if I have the opportunity.
Before my Tokyo trip, I extensively researched hotels in various areas like Shinjuku, Asakusa, Tokyo Station, and Ginza. Traveling with my child meant I needed a less crowded and chaotic location. I stumbled upon this chain hotel, and after finding the price acceptable, I booked it immediately for 4 nights. My overall experience was fantastic.
**Transportation:** The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Mitsukoshimae Station and JR Nihombashi. This makes it incredibly convenient for reaching Ginza or catching the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station. A big plus is the self-service machines at Nihombashi where you can easily pick up physical Shinkansen tickets.
**Surroundings:** As expected, it's a refined, established district. During weekdays, it's not overly crowded, and tourist numbers are relatively low; you mostly see busy office workers rushing about.
**Dining:** The area is brimming with fantastic food options. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs. A short walk towards Kanda Station reveals many more eateries, and if you venture towards the local shrine, you'll discover tasty options like tempura rice bowls.
**Shopping:** For shopping, the century-old Mitsukoshi Department Store is just diagonally across the street. There's also a drugstore conveniently located nearby.
**Overall Satisfaction:** I was extremely satisfied. I was so impressed by the Refa hairdryer provided that it's now on my personal wishlist! Out of the four hotels I stayed at during my trip to Japan, this one was definitely my favorite. Even at over 1500 JPY per night including tax, I found the price acceptable. (A little tip: I made two separate bookings because it turned out to be more economical.)

SSham FaiThe hotel is great and sitting in a quietly place. It’s a bit far from the local supermarket and restaurants. But it’s quite near the metro station, walking around 4 mins from hotel. The room is normal Tokyo hotel size. I would probably stay there again if the price is not too high.

11391001****The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, with several subway lines nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The adjacent Dome City has a plethora of restaurants, so dining is never an issue. I specifically booked a larger room and was very happy with the spaciousness. Check-in was seamless, and we were able to store our luggage after check-out. The toilet is separate from the sink and shower area, which is a great, practical feature. The room's cleanliness was also good. Excellent. Highly recommended!
AAlbert JrThe hotel, for a local/non-international hotel was actually quite large and spacious. Location is great if you want to be in the heart of Ginza. Only downside is that around the hotel area, there are a lot of drinking places which means the surrounding, late at night, you see a lot of night workers and roudy/drunk people. That being said, when in you room and I was on the 2nd floor, you don't hear any of the street noise

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a 2-3 minute walk from Otemachi subway station, making it very convenient for visiting the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station. The neighborhood is full of high-end office buildings, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores to choose from. The front desk staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English, and some even spoke Chinese. Check-in and check-out were both very quick. The room wasn't large, but it was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!
