Amazing
GGuest UserIt was our first time staying at Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport, as we usually stayed at the adjacent Villa Fontaine Hotel. The Premier property definitely feels more upscale and refined. Check-in was smooth and pleasant. Unlike the sister hotel next door, the front desk here is staffed with courteous and attentive personnel. Since we arrived before the official check-in time, we left our luggage with the staff and went shopping. Upon returning, our suitcases—and another one delivered by Yamato Transport—had already been brought up to our room, which was a very nice touch. We stayed in a Deluxe King River View room. It was spacious, with a large and comfortable bed, a generous washroom featuring a deep bathtub, and a long sofa by the window that was perfect for relaxing or having a quick meal. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient, and the overall room design felt modern yet cozy. The wardrobe wasn’t particularly large but sufficient for coats and travel clothes. We didn’t try the breakfast as we had an early flight at 7 AM, but the convenience store downstairs made it easy to pick up yogurt, fruits, and light snacks. Another charming feature was the aroma pouch-making station in the lobby, where guests can choose from several fragrances — it’s a small but thoughtful detail and a lovely souvenir idea. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient, especially for travellers catching early flights — it took only about 10 minutes to reach our airline’s check-in counter after checking out. The hotel also provides easy access to Tokyo’s major shopping areas like Shibuya and Tokyo Station. We’ll certainly be back on our next visit to Haneda!

NNick hou mengThis hotel is located in Ginza, making it very convenient for transportation, shopping, and dining. It's a business-style hotel, and while the room is a bit small, it's perfectly adequate for a single business traveler. A real highlight is the hot spring on the basement floor, and the supper and breakfast on the second floor are excellent.

Jjingzhi0The breakfast was absolutely delicious, so satisfying! I'm a huge fan of hot springs, so I booked this onsen hotel. The first day was a bit of an adventure trying to find it – I walked for about 20 minutes, which felt like almost two hours. But then I realized, after dropping my daughter off at the clinic, when I went to look for the hotel myself, I found it super easily. It's right next to the subway exit! The next three days were smooth sailing; the stay was really comfortable. The hot spring here is the real deal, and it felt amazing. Plus, the breakfast is incredibly abundant. For the first three days, we always went for breakfast at the last minute, close to 9:00 AM. On the first morning, we were pretty lucky – I thought it ended at 9:30, so we went at 9:00, and we were the last two people there. On the fourth day, we had to catch a flight, so we went down early at 6:30 AM. Well, we went down at 6:15 AM and found that it wasn't 6:30 yet, but there were already so many Japanese men queuing up! It really shows that Tokyo isn't a place for slackers. Also, in the evenings from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, they have a cocktail hour where you can freely enjoy coffee and other beverages. I missed this the first two days because I usually got back to the hotel around 10 PM. We made it the last two days, and it was fantastic! They even give you tips on how to mix your own cocktails right there. Due to the timing of my booking, these four nights were quite expensive. I later checked, and the price for the following week was much more reasonable. So, if you can catch it on a good value-for-money day, it's excellent. The front desk also lets you choose your pillow, which I thought was a really nice touch – they have high, low, latex, and even ones filled with buckwheat husks. And you can take free bath salts, tea, and even face masks. On the last day, you can get face masks! They also offer a supplement that helps you stay refreshed and alert if you take three a day, which I found very thoughtful. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel, except for the first night when I struggled to find it. I spent a lot of time; we arrived at the 'Jidai' subway station at 8:30 PM but didn't reach the hotel until 10:30 PM. Other than that, everything else was perfectly fine!

GGuest UserThe hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station Exit 35. From Haneda Airport, you can take a bus directly to the Sunshine City bus stop. The hotel staff, including the front desk and restaurant, were all excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. On the 15th floor, there's a hot spring bath, with Yakult available in the mornings and ice cream in the evenings. The ice cream was really good – on our first day, we foolishly bought ice cream at the supermarket, but after that, we just waited for the complimentary evening ice cream! Oh, and there's free ramen available after 9:30 PM. Everything was great, apart from the small room size.

WWanderlust Y AventurasIt was a small but lovely hotel. You take your shoes off at the beginning and walk without shoes. At night they have free ramen which was delicious and their morning breakfast was crazy good. The hotel is a little older but it was clean. And all the amenities and it’s location make this place so worth it.

MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob). Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn. They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park. However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay: 1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around. 2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.

ZZulkarneainThis clean and comfortable hotel offers a spacious, quiet stay with excellent public transit access and an hourly shuttle to Tsukiji Market. While colocated with a shopping mall, its slightly remote location and extra fees for parking and the onsen may deter some travelers. The Highlights Impeccable Rooms: The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean, and highly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.Excellent Transit Access: Unbeatable connectivity with multiple train service options and bus stops located right nearby. Convenient Location: Situated directly above/alongside a shopping mall, giving you immediate access to dining and retail.Shuttle Service: Features an hourly shuttle bus to the famous Tsukiji Market, making sightseeing a breeze. Helpful Staff & Amenities: Handy lobby amenities and seamless luggage storage if you arrive early or have a late flight. The Drawbacks Out of the Way: It is situated a bit far from the main city center, though the area remains pleasantly quiet and peaceful.Extra Fees: Be prepared to pay extra for parking and the on-site onsen, as neither is complimentary. Overall Verdict: A highly functional and comfortable stay that balances a peaceful, slightly off-the-beaten-path location with stellar transport links and a convenient shuttle. Ideal for travelers who prioritize space, cleanliness, and transit convenience over being right in the heart of the bustling city center.

Jjerraine linI chose this hotel because of its location (10-15 min walk from nearest train station) and the onsen. There is a 7-11 conveniently located right across the hotel which is perfect for a quick breakfast / supper. The hotel’s onsen operates from 6AM-10AM and 3PM-2AM. It was so nice to take a dip in the warm onsen and enjoy the Tokyo skyline after a full day of walking. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a hotel in Shinjuku area that offers some peace amidst the hustle and bustle!

GGuest UserThis is a reasonably priced hotel in Tokyo where you can enjoy a hot spring bath. It's not simply a 'downgrade' alternative to a Dormy Inn; Super Hotel has its own unique charm. While the rooms aren't large, the space is efficiently utilized. You can slide a large suitcase under the bed, which effectively creates a lot more room. You can also choose your own pillow. The room uses a password entry system, so you don't have to worry about losing your key card. The hot bath was very comfortable too. The surrounding area is full of traditional Japanese charm, which is quite interesting. I even had a heated argument with a few elderly 'rebellious' ladies... Of course, Ikebukuro itself has plenty of places to explore. Tobu Duty-Free offers tax-free shopping without any processing fees, and there's often a long queue, likely for Montbell. Personally, I'd recommend the Montbell in Kagoshima, as they have more discounts. From Ikebukuro, you can use your JR pass to visit Kawagoe and Omiya, which are less crowded than Tokyo and also great for exploring.
