This was our second stay at the resort. Our first visit was during the pandemic, when all activities were shut down, and we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. This time, the experience was much richer and even better. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat from the strenuous climbs of Huangshan or the bustling crowds of Xidi and Hongcun, Banyan Tree is the perfect choice. Luchun Village is just about a 5-minute walk away, and a little further on foot, you'll reach Tachuan. Both are beautifully preserved, pristine villages. Before our arrival, our butler, Felix, reached out to me, asking for our estimated arrival time the next day to ensure everything was perfectly pre-arranged. When I simply requested an extra comforter, he immediately offered to upgrade our room, provided it was available. What a pleasant surprise! We ended up staying in the largest room type at Banyan Tree, the Luchun Two-Bedroom Villa (room numbers starting with 2), which boasted over 200 square meters, plus an outdoor garden and a balcony. Our teenager absolutely loved having so much space to run up and down between floors. The room was so incredibly vast that the three of us sometimes had to call each other just to find one another! Needless to say, as a five-star property, it had all the amenities you could possibly need, so I won't list them all. It featured three bathrooms, two bathtubs, three televisions, a three-door refrigerator, a microwave, and a washing machine. Both floors were impeccably clean; we were comfortable walking around barefoot. There wasn't a speck of dust or a single insect anywhere in the entire room – we were truly impressed. The service, in particular, was truly exceptional. Felix, our butler mentioned earlier, was incredibly enthusiastic, offering us detailed introductions and thoughtful recommendations. During our three-day stay, our housekeeper, Jo Yao, was not only extremely polite but also showed great respect for our privacy. Whether she was cleaning, delivering a fruit platter, or performing turndown service, she always asked for permission before entering. Her conversations with us while working were also very genuine. There was also a friendly shuttle driver who drove us around the resort and recommended local delicacies; I regret not catching his name. All the staff members here are warm, genuine, and truly committed to providing excellent service. We are so grateful. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile and was always ready to assist with any request. Breakfast was decent, though it could offer a wider selection. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with everything. The pet park had many cute animals, the swimming pool staff were very attentive, and the sunset ceremony had a wonderful sense of occasion. We just returned today, and I wanted to write this review promptly to truly do justice to all the wonderful experiences Banyan Tree offered.

Having stayed in countless luxury hotels, this is the first time I've genuinely felt compelled to write a glowing review. A special shout-out goes to our butler, Felix, and the wonderful front desk staff, Xiao Gai – we had an absolutely fantastic three-day stay! I would enthusiastically recommend Banyan Tree Huangshan to everyone; you truly can't go wrong here. We were a party of three, including an elderly person, and initially planned to request an extra bed. The front desk kindly upgraded us free of charge to a spacious 200-sqm two-bedroom villa. They didn't even charge us for the extra bed and provided an additional complimentary breakfast. Our butler also offered a complimentary first round from the minibar. Objectively, the hotel rooms are a bit dated and the maintenance is somewhat average, and the breakfast selection isn't extensive. However, every single staff member throughout the hotel displayed an exceptionally wonderful attitude. For a price of just over 1000 RMB per night, the service was comparable to luxury hotels in Southeast Asia costing several thousands. They even surprised us with an incredibly delicious birthday cake during our stay! Honestly, people, at this price, you truly can't ask for more! This genuinely is the most value-for-money Banyan Tree in the world. We will definitely be back if we have the chance!

We stayed at Banyan Tree Huangshan for four days and three nights during our visit to Huangshan, and our overall experience was fantastic. Felix was great; he proactively reached out to understand our needs beforehand and even arranged a room upgrade for us. The hotel boasts a beautiful location, surrounded by mountains and close to Hongcun and Lucun villages, offering picturesque views. We stayed in a two-bedroom Hongcun Villa, and it was very convenient as we could drive our car directly to the room for parking. While the decor felt a little dated, it was clear that a lot of thought and care went into its design and upkeep. Shuttle buses were readily available for getting to and from the main lobby, which added to the convenience.

Overall, the experience didn't quite meet my expectations. While the main bed in the bedroom was acceptable, the pillows were uncomfortable. We requested latex pillows, which were a slight improvement. However, the third bed was incredibly uncomfortable; I spent one night on it and couldn't get any sleep at all. On the bright side, the hotel's overall environment was pleasant, and the staff were all very polite and provided prompt service.

Staying at Banyan Tree Huangshan was the biggest highlight of my trip. Breathtaking views greeted me right outside the door. The turndown service, which included delicious peach shortbread and a thoughtful handwritten card, truly warmed my heart with its attention to detail. Our butler, Felix, had a constant smile, and even brought congee and medicine instantly when I had a stomach ache late at night. The bed felt like sinking into a cloud, and the toiletries had a wonderful white tea fragrance. I've already raved about it to my best friend, and I'm planning to return next week for more peace and quiet!

The hotel's setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains with Lu Village nestled right at their foot. It's only about a 10-15 minute drive from Hongcun. All sorts of small animals roam the hotel grounds, often wandering right past the villa balconies, much to the delight of the children. They fed lambs, were chased by geese, saw turkeys, fed peacocks, and even tried their hand at fishing in the hotel's pond! 🤭🤭🤭 However, it's been scorching hot these past few days, so we preferred to stay indoors during the daytime. A special shout-out to our butler, Felix! He's not only handsome but also incredibly kind and attentive. He even surprised us with a complimentary afternoon tea, complete with iced coffee. It was an absolute pleasure just lounging comfortably at the hotel. 🙏🙏

Originally, we had planned a leisurely holiday at Banyan Tree Huangshan, but our plans were completely disrupted when our child suddenly fell ill. However, our butler, Felix, turned this unexpected early departure into a reassuring and deeply touching experience with his professional and warm service! Upon learning of our child's illness, Felix immediately and efficiently coordinated with the front desk and concierge to swiftly handle all the early departure logistics. His genuine care and thoughtful arrangements transformed what could have been a chaotic emergency into a heartwarming memory. Banyan Tree Huangshan not only boasts picturesque scenery and comfortable accommodation, but it's dedicated employees like Felix who truly make the service exceptional and heartfelt. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and sincerely hope more guests have the chance to encounter such attentive staff! **Breakfast:** Average. **Facilities:** The facilities are a bit dated, which is understandable given the hotel has been open for quite some years. **Environment:** This time we booked the Lucun Villa, which is a two-story unit complete with a kitchen and an island counter, making it ideal for family stays.

My stay at Huangshan Banyan Tree Hotel was absolutely perfect – a definite five-star experience! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I felt immediately at home. Felix was incredibly warm and professional, making my check-in swift and efficient. He also thoughtfully provided tips for exploring the surrounding area and introduced the hotel's facilities. The room itself was exquisitely designed, spacious, and brightly lit. Its minimalist yet elegant decor showcased quality in every detail. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the mattress had the perfect firmness, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a convenient wet-dry separation, a smart toilet, and a spacious bathtub. Even the toiletries were from a renowned fragrance brand, making every wash feel like a luxurious ritual. The hotel's dining was another major highlight. The breakfast spread was incredibly diverse, featuring a wide array of both Chinese and Western dishes, with freshly prepared hot food that was both delicious and fresh. This level of thoughtfulness made me feel truly cared for. For a relaxing getaway, this hotel is an exceptional choice, and I will definitely prioritize it for my next visit!

In general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast .

The hotel earned its reputation of exceptional services. Chris, Julia Wang, and Dean Hu provided me with the best care. The room has a beautiful unforgettable view!

This was a trip that I took my 86 years old mom to travel with me. After a long bullet train ride and shuttle ride, Banyan Tree Huangshan gave us a warm welcome by upgrading our room to a villa. The place is beautifully designed, nested in a valley with traditional Hui style building. Inside the rooms, they have the western style bedroom and bathroom comforts, but the deco is traditional Chinese arts with a modern twist, very elegant, not the tacky hotel chain style but details that fits the surrounding nature beauty. All the rooms and facilities are very clean, and service people are very nice too. We had the front desk clerk Sweet, who updated our stay and a room cleaning lady May Zhang who helped us with our needs. Very thankful to their help! The outside garden design blends in with the surrounding mountains. They even have a petting zoo for visitors young and old. We dined in their Chinese restaurant the first night. The foods were good but I won't say exceptional. For two of us, it was way too much in food quantity for one order. We felt bad to waste food this way. Wish they have had smaller choices. But their breakfast is very impressive. And even though they are very close to Hong Village where the shuttle stops, they did not offer free shuttle which I think they should. I highly recommend this place and will travel back with my other family members in the future. 我和我86岁的妈妈旅行到黄山附近， 住的第一家旅店就是悦榕庄。不得不说，印象深刻。整个山庄外观是徽州传统建筑+现代设计，高挑壮观。Villa的庭院设计轻松惬意，完全融入周围的自然景观。室内非常干净，西式的床和卫生间舒适温馨，很容易消除旅途的疲倦。装饰很典雅，是传统中国书画兼有现代的元素，赏心悦目。 我们天刚黑时到达， 很快感受到温暖贴心的服务。前台给我们免费升级房间， 让我们渡过了愉悦的两天。 早上在庭院里跑步是个美好的体验， 健身房也比一般希尔顿或是万豪好很多。 我们第一晚在饭店的中餐厅吃的，不错但没有特别让人印象深刻。早餐则不同， 选择非常多且很多精致可口的饭菜。 尽管他们离宏村很近但不提供免费接送，这样你从机场或是高铁站坐接送车到此，还需要打车或是付比打车高很多的车费到达悦榕庄。我个人认为这完全可以改进。 我非常推荐黄山悦榕庄，以后还会带其他家人来住。谢谢你们周到的服务！
