The courtyard is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful. Parking is convenient, and the price offers excellent value for money. The entire accommodation environment is truly a must-visit. A huge thumbs-up to the owner for creating such a wonderful setting and providing exceptionally attentive service!

This is a large, somewhat dated hotel. Its major upside is the fantastic location: it's situated directly above the long-distance bus station, and Liuxing Street is only a few hundred meters away on foot. It's a bit of a mixed bag, especially considering that hotels in Yining tend to be quite expensive. That said, the Yining River is absolutely stunning!

For just over 100 RMB this season, this hotel offers incredible value for money. While the facilities are basic, its low price truly makes it stand out. The location is also a huge plus, being only a 5-minute walk to Six-Star Street. You'll find a wide variety of street food options right nearby as well.

I recently had the chance to stay at an accommodation in Yili's capital, and frankly, it looked very dated and worn out. It's essentially just a basic guesthouse, and the name 'V8 Hotel' is a complete overstatement. I definitely don't recommend it. I sincerely hope they undergo a thorough renovation and redecoration to offer visitors to Yili's capital a truly warm, comfortable, and clean place to stay.

The place was quite dated, which was a bit surprising. In the bathroom, a ceiling panel was missing, exposing a clearly visible pipe. However, I put up with it because of its convenient location right next to the bus terminal, making it easy to get to Liuxing Street. The photo is of Liuxing Street.

Booked for 2 nights, no cleaning of the room, no changing of towels, no water, no foot towels, kettle not working, no amenity kit on the 2nd day, plus the lounge smells like cigarettes. The only good thing is that it is next to the bus station.

I stayed at this hotel again, but this time, the service was quite disappointing, particularly concerning luggage storage. Upon checking in, I inquired about storing my luggage for the following day and was assured it would be possible. Yet, when I checked out early the next morning (at 7:15 AM), I was informed I couldn't leave my bags. The explanation given was that the hotel had been fined by authorities the previous evening due to fire safety violations. Adding to the frustration, an older security guard was particularly unhelpful and firm. I couldn't help but wonder how a hotel of this size could lack a proper luggage storage facility. Thankfully, a young lady at the front desk eventually stepped in and resolved the situation.

The hotel's sole advantage is its location right next to the bus station. The rooms are spacious, but cleanliness was only so-so. Having traveled all over the country, this is the first time I've ever encountered such a bizarre hotel. Housekeeping requires you to notify the front desk, and sometimes they forget, so you have to follow up yourself. The facilities are incredibly dated. The shower drain was clogged and drained very slowly. The room rate surprisingly increased daily, and service was almost non-existent. I stayed for 8 straight days, and honestly, if it wasn't for its closeness to the bus station, I'd never come back.

You'd be a fool to book this hotel. **Cleanliness:** Very poor Just as I was about to fall asleep, a huge bug landed on me, and I was too terrified to sleep the entire night. **Environment:** Very poor **Service:** Very poor **Facilities:** Old and run-down The walls were very dirty, and there were unknown bugs in the room – it felt like the entire bug family had moved in! When I reported this to the front desk, they actually suggested spraying insecticide. Why couldn't they spray beforehand? Why spray when a guest is already in the room? Isn't spraying insecticide harmful to one's health? It wasn't convenient to change hotels in the middle of the night. The showerhead in the room leaked severely and was unusable, and the hairdryer plug also didn't work! And they call themselves a star-rated hotel? What a joke! I only have myself to blame for not checking reviews before booking this last-minute stay. It truly ruined my rest and affected my plans for the next day!

Awful! Awful! Awful! I was absolutely flabbergasted that the bathroom had a completely transparent door. On the headboard, there was some unknown grime, possibly mold. The door was incredibly stiff and hard to open. As for soundproofing, there was none whatsoever. And to add insult to injury, they even provided a list of charges for any damages! Honestly, how can they justify charging over 200 for such a room?!

Location not bad, but not the best facilities in terms of cleaning. Overall okay if you are staying for one day

It’s quite old hotel and the reception was not that friendly. The smell of cigarettes came in the room. The room we got was far away from the lift.

Next door to bus station from Kazakhstan. Easy to find. No english but great uses of translator. Food across the road open all hours.
