GGuest User1. The drone shots were fantastic, exactly what I was looking for.
2. The room was spotless, and we didn't encounter many insects. I was a bit concerned about snakes given the mountain setting, but the butler reassured me they had put snake deterrents along the paths. We even spotted a golden toad casually making its way along the roadside!
3. The kids absolutely loved the rice noodles and congee for breakfast, even asking for two bowls on our last day! Dinner could be ordered online from an extensive menu. If we wanted to dine at their restaurant, the butler would conveniently ferry us there and back in an electric cart. We were quite tired on our last two days, so we opted for room service. There was a small delivery fee, but it was absolutely worth it – we ordered a single bowl of rice and they brought a huge, generous portion!
4. Upon check-in, we were presented with a complimentary and incredibly generous fruit platter. On our final breakfast, the kids spotted some delicious honey plums and, since they loved them so much, we asked the butler if we could pack a small portion to take with us. To our delight, they ended up giving us a huge bag full!
5. Our room also featured a tea station, complete with sanitizing equipment for the teaware, allowing us to brew our own tea using fresh mountain spring water. The specialty tea leaves had a wonderfully sweet aftertaste. Enjoying a cup of tea amidst the serene mountain surroundings was truly an idyllic and relaxing experience.

My recent three-night stay at Zhangjiajie Sunshine Hotel was absolute perfection! The second I walked in, the front desk team welcomed me warmly and finished check-in in minutes—no tedious waiting at all.
My room was impeccably clean, with a plush bed that had me sleeping soundly each night. Waking up to the faint view of Zhangjiajie’s lush mountains through the window was a lovely surprise, and the room’s quietness made it ideal for relaxing after day trips.
The breakfast buffet shone with fresh options, from crispy pastries to hearty hot dishes, and the coffee was always smooth. What truly made this stay unforgettable was Service Steward Xiao Yu—he remembered my preference for early breakfast, helped arrange a timely taxi to the scenic area, and even left a note with local snack recommendations.
I’ll 100% book Zhangjiajie Sunshine Hotel again on my next trip and can’t recommend it enough—especially if you get to be assisted by Xiao Yu!

The horrible thing is than hotel staff is unable to cotrol guests and guarantee that it would be non smoking hotel. I would asume that hotel even tolerates smoking in coridors, restrooms of the hotel because there are ashtreys everywhwere.

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay. The original order only included one pick-up service, but Butler Luo gave us an additional drop-off service. The plan for visiting the scenic spots was very reasonable, perfectly avoiding the maintenance time of the scenic area cable car. The pick-up and drop-off service to the scenic spots every day was thoughtful and considerate. All three dinners were enjoyed at the hotel. It is worth mentioning that the rice field duck tasted good, freshly killed and cooked, and the ingredients were fresh.

I love the complimentary washing facilities with a helper that is so nice to assist at all time, shoes drying machine, free flow of water, ice creams, drinks, and the mini football game for the kids whenever they are waiting for adults. YYoeMeThis is a newly opened hotel; it wasn't even open yet when I visited last spring.
Wulingyuan District isn't particularly large, and the hotel is situated right on the edge of the city center. It's not far from the trendy 'influencer street,' striking a good balance between accessibility and a quieter environment.
**Room Facilities:** Everything feels genuinely new. Parking directly on Basement 1 is super convenient. The room facilities are first-class, and it was spotless. They even provided complimentary fruit and a minibar.
**Location & Transport:** It's about 2 km from the East Gate, which is quite a walk if you're on foot. Thankfully, electric scooters are now available for rent along the road.
**Room View:** I booked a 'scenic view' room, but honestly, there wasn't much of a special scenic view. The swimming pool occupies the three floors below, so that's what you primarily see.
**Service:** There's a laundry room, which is extremely handy. The staff at the laundry room – a lady and an elderly gentleman – were very conscientious. You just need to write down your room number and specify 'wash and dry,' and your laundry is ready for pick-up by the next day at the latest.
**Breakfast:** Compared to other five-star hotels, the selection was a bit limited. Many of the options were Western-style breakfast items and vegetable salads, which aren't really suited to the Chinese palate. More Chinese breakfast options would be great.
What truly stood out was the staff's attentiveness. On my first day, I forgot to turn off my car headlights, and they promptly called me to remind me. That was incredibly timely and thoughtful! Highly commendable!

AAnonymous UserThe facilities are very new and highly functional. Cleanliness was top-notch: the room was spotless, as were the bedding and towels. Both the bathroom and toilet were exceptionally clean, and I particularly appreciated the smart bidet toilet. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute drive from the Dongmen Landmark Gate and a mere 5-minute walk to the food street; it truly feels like a tranquil retreat amidst the city's hustle and bustle. Service was excellent, with staff who were friendly, always smiling, and very helpful with all my inquiries. As a Jinjiang Group property, the quality was reliably good. The room featured smart voice control, with 'Xiaowei Xiaowei' as its prompt, which felt a bit basic but was quite fun to interact with. The breakfast selection was decent and covered the essentials. My only minor grievances were with the bathroom's privacy film, which seemed to become somewhat transparent when wet – not ideal. Additionally, there was no proper place to hang clothes to dry in the bathroom, which was quite inconvenient.

The hotel itself is beautiful, spottless clean. The room was perfect and super comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows, the shower was perfect too. Also, there were complimentary water and fruit daily in our room.
It is very well maintained and you can see the staff replacing and updating the lobby facilities, even if they looked brand new.
The staff was very attentive, eager and solved anything quickly. Joanna and her team were always available and with good disposition towards our every needs. Thank you so much for our amazing stay.
The staff was super attentive to details, for example they realized I showered twice daily, and the following day they directly put extra towels in my room. That was a super nice gesture.
In addition there is a free laundy service, a member of staff is there to clean and pack your clothes free of charge. That was a plus specially in Zhangjiajie where you may need to clean your sports clothes after a day of hicking.
Breakfast was good too, complete and with variety. I particularly loved the pool, where you could rest after a day walking and climbing.
Would definetely choose the Hilton again when I go back. Was my second time in Zhanghiajie and would definetely come back to this hotel.
Ps: loved the panda robot that delivers stuff to the rooms!

GGuest UserThis hotel is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The front desk staff were lovely, polite, attentive, and highly efficient. What's more, they even upgraded all three of my booked rooms free of charge. My family had a very comfortable stay, and I'm extremely grateful! The rooms are quiet and soundproof, with daily housekeeping. Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area is right nearby, just a few minutes' walk from the lower cable car station. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, with both Chinese and Western dishes, and everything tasted delicious. The hotel also boasts facilities like a gym, making it the most comfortable hotel we stayed at during this trip.

PPandy016Lovely place to stay. Wonderful and central with bustling night markets along the street. The lights are amazing and bring the place alive. Pullman staff were amazing especially front desk staff and Mark who kindly showed us to our room and was super helpful. We will be recommending this place to our friends. We wished we had come here first as we left a day earlier from a previous booking/accommodation and were so happy to arrive at the Pullman. Great pool but we didn't have time to try it out. Excellent massage place on-site with good prices. Also a great little shop on site where we even bought an extra suitcase. Thank you and we hope to come back someday. 😊
