Sunrise, ocean and Sandunes at Mui Ne
2D1N Solo trip to Mui ne, vietnam.
Doing the Sand dunes tour was truly a magnificent experience!
The tour has three slots available daily, but I highly recommend the sunrise timing from what you can see from the photos, truly a breathtaking view.
The tour was about 4 hours and cost me $20+ dollars.#Mui ne #Vietnam #Solo traveller #Sand dunes
Breathtaking landscape in Mui Ne - White Sand Dunes
White Sand Dunes, is one of the only desert areas in Vietnam.
White Sand Dunes is stretching in the area of Mui Ne sandy hills. The name of White Sand Dunes originates from its sand's color. The white sand hills are also named Bau Trang (White Lake). It is about 62km from Phan Thiet City to White Sand Dunes to the northeast, and about 30km from Mui Ne.
The most striking part of the area is a small lagoon covered in lotus flowers. Beside the lake, there is also a small pine forest that keeps the wind cool, even in the hot desert.
Hope you like this post if you found this useful. Cheers :)

Summer time at Mui Ne, Vietnam
The dilemma between mountain or beach trip can break the bond of every group. So why not both in one place?
Mui Ne Beach Vietnam
This is the beach of Vietnam which you have to try across the mountain around 2 hour in order to come here from Dalat. We rent the car for four people it took us around $150. Come here the water cannot play because this is a fishing placebbut you can have a fresh seafood.

Amazing Phan Thiet (Mui Ne)
Love the Sea, Wind, and Sand in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Vietnam!
When I arrived in Mui Ne, the first thing that stroke me was how empty the city is. There were Western tourists everywhere, almost were backpackers.
It’s peaceful like a village really, so many stores or restaurants were closed so early like around 9 pm?? I and my friend went out when the lights off, and there weren’t many real hotspots. Luckily there was a beer place that sold chickens. 🥹
That’s not a big deal because Mui Ne is just soooo beautiful! The pictures are mostly in Sand dunes. 🥹💕
It was like about to rain that time so we need to be so rushy. 😤
Gonna come there again for sure! I really wanna buy a house there. 🥺

Beautiful Vietnam!
I had a trip to Mui Ne, Binh Thuan which was such a healing time for me. Everything is so calming, foods are cheap and nice people. #beachlife #beaches #muine #vietnam
Ta Cu Mountain - Mui Ne, Vietnam
The territory of Ta Cu mountain covers 250,000 square meters. Lush rainforests, rare wildlife, limestone caves and ornate Buddhist shrines. Mount Ta Cu is an hour's drive from Mui Ne. You can reach the top of the mountain in a 2 hour hike or a 10 minute cable car ride.
On top of Mount Ta Cu, the Reclining Buddha Pagoda has several worship halls, three entrances, intricate animal sculptures, and colorful paintings of deities.
The main attraction is the 49-meter statue of the Reclining Buddha. The largest Buddha statue in Vietnam.
The Reclining Buddha on Mount Ta Cu is open all year round. During the Lunar New Year, thousands of Buddhist followers come here to worship the shrine.

Tien Thanh Beach - Mui Ne, Vietnam
Tien Thanh Beach is located in the southwest of Phan Thiet, not far from Mui Ne. The total length of the beach is about 30 km. Those who dream of a quiet rest, beautiful landscapes and warm sand should visit this beach and enjoy the peace.
Nearby is Cape Ke Ga, a local landmark of Mui Ne. There are, however, disadvantages on Tien Thanh beach - the sea here is not always perfectly clean. Sometimes, after winds and strong waves, tourists can find a huge amount of garbage on the shore - cans, bags and bottles. And in a quiet windless time - there is a heavenly place. The minimum number of tourists and the lack of hotels nearby make Tien Thanh beach ideal for relaxation, romance and secluded relaxation.

Ham Tien Beach - Mui Ne, Vietnam
Ham Tien Beach is located east of the Central Beach and extends to the fishing pier, located in the village of Mui Ne, Vietnam. Ham Tien Beach is often referred to as Mui Ne, but some consider it part of Phan Thiet. It is not as popular as Central Beach, but connects to it.
The sea on this beach isn’t calm, in addition, it is muddy. When I was there the wind blew on the shore, so sunbathing was not very convenient - sand fly in the face, got into the eyes and hit the skin. The beach is more like a wild one, leaves and various coastal debris are not removed here: bags, gobies, sticks.
But here is peaceful and quiet, just few tourists around.

Bai Rang Beach - Mui Ne, Vietnam
Bai Rang Beach or Mui Ne Central Beach stretches for 6-7 kilometers. This is an ideal place for surfing and kiting, it is facilitated by constant winds, from which the sea is restless here, so swimming is quite problematic. Schools located on the coast teach active water sports, and the equipment can also be rented here.
Along the coast there are many resort hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs and discos. Here is the epicenter of noisy entertainment. Also at the service of vacationers: massage parlors, rental of motorbikes and bicycles, ATMs, and on the beach there are sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a small branch of the bank.
The beach is wide enough, the entrance to the sea is gentle. Due to the rough sea, it is very rare to see clear turquoise water here, as advertised in the catalogs, it is mostly not transparent.
#asiatrip #passionpassport #staycation #beachlife
Hon Rom Beach - Mui Ne, Vietnam
Hon Rom Beach is located northeast of the fishing village of Mui Ne in Vietnam, on the way to the White Dunes. There is no special infrastructure along the road that leads to the local attraction: several cafes and fishermen's houses. It is not the most popular among tourists, because it is a little far away, but it is calm and beautiful here.
Hon Rom beach is quite dirty and covered with a lot of shells. Local fishermen and vacationers leave garbage on the beach, which no one is in a hurry to clean up. But if you walk along the coast, you can find clean places to stay.
Many people come to Mui Ne for surfing. The long sandy strip and windy weather make Mui Ne an ideal place for surfers. On the other hand, because of the high waves, it is inconvenient to swim, and children should not be allowed into the water at all. Diving in Mui Ne is not a good idea for exactly the same reason.

As a beach town along the South China Sea in Southeast, Mui Ne, Vietnam, makes for a great little trip away from the cities. It doesn’t matter whether you’re travelling through Vietnam from North to South or simply looking for a long weekend destination that differs from resort trips of Thailand or Bali. Mui Ne offers just enough in terms of sightseeing and activities to keep you occupied for those few days away from home.

Mina | Half Desert Half Sea (Must-See Edition)
A phrase 'half desert, half sea' brought me to Mina, this magical little fishing village known for its kite surfing and seaside desert.
After experiencing it myself, I've finally summarized the following desert🏜 guide~
First of all, the mainstream activity here is to join a jeep tour for a half-day trip organized by travel agencies, which lasts about 4 hours, with a quoted price of 550,000 dong per vehicle (negotiable). There are two departure times to choose from: 5:30 in the morning and 1:30 in the afternoon. Due to my inability to rise early, I chose the afternoon departure to embark on this desert journey!
This trip includes a total of 6 check-in spots:
First station: Fairy Stream
Red dunes + limestone + fine sandy bottom = Mina's Fairy Stream. Remember not to be frightened by the yellowish stream water, be sure to take off your shoes and feel the fine riverbed with your bare feet; also, don't just stay at the entrance, walk further to see more beautiful scenery and feel more of the charm of Fairy Stream~
Second station: Mina Fishing Village
In fact, it's just a spot where you stop by the roadside to take photos while passing through the fishing village's coastal road. The highlight is the star-like fishing boats scattered below the road, but to be honest, the scenery is just average.
Third station: Coastal Road Photo Shoot Spot for People and Vehicles
The coastal road scenery is ok, the key points at this spot are: ① choose a brightly colored car🚗 in advance (pink is tested to be great) ② don't trust the driver's photography skills too much (although he seems very dedicated😂), you can ask the guy to run to the opposite side to take photos, which turns out to be very photogenic
Fourth station: Dragon Fruit Field
Dragon fruit field + two man-made landscapes, just take some casual photos~
Fifth station: White Sand Dunes
The most worthwhile stop of the trip, it's hard to imagine such a vast and magnificent desert by the sea in Southeast Asia. Reaching the heart of the desert, it feels incredibly similar to my previous experience in the Tengger Desert in China!!! The jeep will stop at the parking lot outside the desert, and we can choose to walk to the viewing point ourselves (I personally think it's super fun, chasing and playing with friends, took a lot of fun photos and videos, highly recommended!) or spend 300,000 to unlock the desert off-road vehicle service (direct to the mountaintop). The viewing point is at the highest point of the desert, with strong winds and sand, so be sure to wear sunglasses🕶 and take precautions, otherwise don't blame me if you can't open your eyes🤫. There's also a small lake at the bottom of the desert, which you can explore if you have time.
Sixth station: Red Sand Dunes
The half sea, half desert that's all the rage on the internet is right here, this desert is not as big as the white desert, and to take a good photo, besides finding the right angle, remember to check the sunset time in advance, it's hard to capture a good photo of the desert and sea together if it's too late.
ps: The biggest feeling after playing is: 4 hours is definitely not enough🥺 If you want to play well, I actually suggest renting a motorcycle yourself to check in at these places, whether it's these two super fun deserts or the entire beautiful coastal road, each is worth spending half a day to enjoy😎
Phan Thiet.. A quiet tourist city next to Mui Ne..
Located at the rear of the South China Sea, it is situated in Phan Thiet Bay, on the protrusion of the coastal railway.
It is a large city in the central region of Vietnam, located 200km north of Ho Chi Minh City, and to the south of Cam Ranh Bay. This historic place is where the patriots Phan Chu Trinh and Tran Quy Cap first started the independence struggle during the French colonial period.
Near this city, there are attractions such as Bai Rang, Da Ong Dia, Suoi Tien, and the fishing village of Mui Ne, with the most beloved place recently being the Mui Ne sand dunes and beach, 19km east of Phan Thiet, which are formed by the sea breeze and amaze tourists.
However, while visiting those places, take a look around the city of Phan Thiet as well..

Flight✈️
Departing from Hangzhou to Ho Chi Minh with a layover in Shenzhen, Southern Airlines has flights almost every day, allowing for a spontaneous trip. A one-way ticket costs just a few hundred yuan, cheaper than flying from Hangzhou to Shenzhen.
Local Transportation
In Southeast Asia, you can use the Grab app to hail rides, similar to Didi and Uber.
From Ho Chi Minh to Mui Ne, take a sleeping bus for less than one hundred yuan per person, and you'll be lying down and asleep before being dropped off at your hotel🏨.
Accommodation🏨
The price ranges from around 100 to 200 yuan per person. The rooms are generally quite large, often standalone buildings. It's very relaxing, with mostly European and American tourists, followed by Koreans.
Since this area is full of star-rated hotels, the beaches at the entrance of the resorts where you stay are the ones you'll use. The hotels booked are usually super close to the sea view, and you can see the ocean while lying in bed. The entire sea area is very well protected; thus, at such a treasured jelly-like beach, everyone must not leave any trash behind and take good care of this valuable free public resource.
As it has always been a small fishing village, mainly catering to European and American tourists, it's generally about lying in the sun and reading a book, very quiet, allowing the good ecology to be preserved. The jelly-like blue-green sea water is very clear and clean, with the glittering sea surface resembling pieces of sparkling, translucent gla

One of the most amazing experiences I have ever had in my life. I didn't expect to feel such feelings whilst being astonished by the breath taking scenery during our gentle flight floating through the crystal blue sky. The staff were amazing and we were all treated like VIPs, personal pick up from our hotel and the champagne made it all that more special. I would recommend this to all and I hope that one day I am able to bring my family with me to share this amazing experience.#vietnamtrip
Just next to Ho Chi Minh City, there are sand dunes and also oceans
Mui Ne is located near Ho Chi Minh City and is a charming seaside fishing village with beautiful blue-green waters 🌊 and colorful sand dunes.
There are generally two ways to get from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne:
1️⃣ The first option is to take a sleeping bus, which can be purchased online in advance or on-site. Futa is the most famous bus company. You can buy the ticket on its website.
2️⃣ The second option is to hire a private car. This is more convenient when traveling with a group of people, and the journey takes around 3 hours.
Mui Ne has several notable attractions:
1️⃣ White Sand Dunes: The furthest but most enjoyable destination. It's a mix of desert 🏜 and a lake. You can take a local jeep or ATV to reach the top as climbing can be tiring. The cost is around 20-30,000 Vietnamese Dong per person.
2️⃣ Red Sand Dunes: Smaller than the white sand dunes and not always red; they appear more so during sunset.
3️⃣ Fairy Stream: A small stream flowing through the eastern part of Mui Ne amidst sand dunes and rock formations. The water in the Fairy Stream is vivid red, resembling volcanic lava.
4️⃣ Small Fishing Village: It's not the most beautiful beach in Vietnam, but it's full of local life. You can observe many fishermen and their small boats. The sea breeze carries a strong fishy odor, so if you're sensitive to this smell, you might want to skip this spot.
Mui Ne is a relatively small place, and 1-2 days is usually sufficient to explore its attractions.
Mui Ne - One of the best destinations in Vietnam
