I had a very pleasant stay at Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden (äøęµ·å¤ę»©č±«åē¾å±

åŗ). I arrived early around 11 AM, and the staff were extremely helpful in assisting with an early check-in, which I truly appreciated after a long journey.
The room I booked met all my expectations. I chose the duck-themed room, and it was absolutely perfectāespecially for my child, who loved it so much. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for families.
I also requested a late check-out until 7 PM, and the hotel kindly offered an option to extend the stay by adding extra hours. This flexibility was very helpful for my schedule.
One thing that stood out was the bathroom, which was equipped with a bidet. As an Indonesian family, this is something we really value for personal hygiene, and it made our stay much more comfortable.
The hotelās location is very strategic. It is close to Xiaotaoyuan Mosque, making it very convenient for Muslim guests, especially for attending Friday prayers. In addition, the hotel provides a shuttle service to Yu Yuan Garden and other nearby tourist attractions, which made exploring the area much easier.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families and Muslim travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and thoughtful amenities in Shanghai.

ZZhongzhenOverall, it's a pretty good and unique hotel. You can watch any movie you want with the included streaming service, and the projector is excellent. The location is super convenient ā great value for money! You can reach various public transport options like the subway and bus within 300 meters. There aren't many dining options right nearby, but it's not far from the commercial district and city attractions. The only downside is that the noise from the downstairs restaurant/bar and street traffic at night might be a bit disruptive for light sleepers, but the hotel provides all necessary amenities, which is a big plus.

GGuest UserOur stay at Chuxin Moshe Hotel was fantastic! The location is super convenient for getting around, and the hotel even thoughtfully arranged Disney shuttle service, which was a huge relief. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless, and the bedding was so soft that we slept incredibly well. The free foot bath and massage facilities were really stress-relieving, and the simple breakfast was delicious and convenient. The staff were warm, attentive, and provided thoughtful, heartwarming service. The value for money is exceptional, and we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit. Highly recommended!

The staff were also very friendly. Location is 1 minute walk to Line 14 Metro and was very convenient. I definitely would come back here in my next visit in Shanghai. š¤©

Our dedicated concierge, Aaron Coco, provided gentle and attentive service, never intrusive but always there when needed, making us feel genuinely well cared for and at ease.

CCurious TravellerGreat location if you are heading for Disneyland or has an early flight to catch the next morning. Otherwise it is quite far from Shanghai city center - JingAn area- with no traffic - 45 min taxi ride) The hotel offers free shuttle to Disneyland which departs the hotel at 7:20am; and returns to the hotel at 10:20pm. It was a bit late for us since we finished watching the fireworks at 830pm. (Disneyland closes at 9:30pm ). So we just took a taxi (very few people waiting and cost ~RMB50; while the online car service costs ~R30 but the waiting area was very congested.
The free shuttle to Putong airport departs on the hour and starts from 4 or 5am and takes less than 30min. Need to book one day in advance at the front desk.
Our 3 persons family room has a double bed and a proper single bed( not fold up bed). Spacious enough for luggages.
The negatives - we booked and paid for 3 persons - but hotel only offered breakfast for 2. We booked 2 nights but only has breakfast for one day. Strangest arrangement I have ever seen.
BF - has reasonable options of Chinese and western cuisine . Noodle Bar was the best.
Night snack- also has noodle bar with dumplings and congee.

SsignxService: The best hotel I've ever stayed at! No exaggeration. I've tried many hotels in Shanghai, including Shangri-La (Jingan, Pudong), Ritz-Carlton (Pudong), Peninsula (Bund), Shanghai Tower J-Hotel, Grand Hyatt, Kempinski, Disney hotels, Westin, Kerry Centre, Sheraton... Apart from Banyan Tree, which I'm not interested in, and St. Regis, which I tried in Sanya, and Waldorf Astoria, which I haven't had the chance to visit yet, I've checked out almost all the hotels my child and I were interested in.
Honestly, W truly impressed me.
From purchasing the package and booking the dates in advance to phone communication, the staff consistently displayed genuine warmth and professionalism. They meticulously noted all my requests, ensuring accurate internal communication.
On the day of arrival, I wasn't feeling well and my tone wasn't great. Yet, the front desk staff listened attentively and with incredible patience throughout. This level of internal training deeply impressed me. There was none of the arrogance I've experienced at the Peninsula or Ritz-Carlton; instead, it was full of understanding for the customer. I actually want to come back and stay again soon! š
I even joked with the hotel staff, asking if this excellent service was because I booked a suite. š But then again, I had suites at Shanghai Tower J-Hotel and Ritz-Carlton too, and the service there was... well, let's just say it was different.
At the W, it's not just the front desk and lobby; even the staff helping with the elevator and the cleaning crew in the basement are incredibly cheerful and sincere. I love this fresh, uplifting energy and team.
Facilities: The facilities are clean and hygienic, and every room has a bidet toilet seat, which is a nice touch!
Environment: Very clean, and most importantly, the view across the river is absolutely stunning.
Hygene: The hygiene is excellent, very clean. And their response time is super fast.
If I had to pick one downside, it would be that theé
å„ facilities at Magnolia Plaza are a bit too low-end, haha. They really don't match the W's standard.

YYuri NimGuisu Homestay offers multiple separate rooms, with the address provided closer to the check-in time for self check-in. The space is suitable for families and the facilities are quite complete. The overall stay was comfortable, although the cleanliness could be improved slightly. With better attention to detail in cleaning, the experience would be even better.

GGuest UserWe had a really pleasant stay at Waiting Century Hotel. Weāre a group of 4 persons and booked a duplex room for our stay in Shanghai.
Good location, especially for those who travel to other cities like Wuxi, Suzhou, even Hangzhou. Itās a walking distance to Shanghai Railway Station and metro. Around the hotel, there are convenience stores (Lawson, Family Mart) and coffee shops (Luckin Coffee, Manner Coffee) and other local restaurants.
The hotel also provides free coffee, ice, and some candy at the lobby. The hotel staff are also nice.
One downside though. The 2nd floor of the duplex room is a bit hot. You need to open the window and let the air outside into your room.
Overall, a really good place to stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel hallways are bright and spacious, and the common areas are spotless. There's even a thoughtful pantry with a coffee machine and snacks, so you can grab a hot drink anytime ā it's such a warm touch.
The room itself is beyond words. The mattress is soft and springy, making for a comfortable sleep. The bedding is soft and cozy, and they provide disposable slippers and toiletries, showing great attention to detail. It truly feels as relaxing as being at home.
The hotel's details really impressed me! The bookshelves in the common areas are filled with various books. You can casually flip through a couple while waiting for the elevator or just relaxing ā it completely enhances the ambiance. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay!
