Baishi Qiang Village

Baishi Dongzhai is in Maoxian County, Aba Tibetan and Yi Autonomous Prefecture. The whole village is built against the mountains and faces the Lijiang River. People take Baishi as their respect. There are white stones everywhere. Every house has doors and windows. The roof is even on the side of the road. There are white stones. Beautiful exterior wall with simple murals can be seen everywhere the totem sheep and cow head murals and sculptures

From Maoxian to Jiuzhaigou County, just out of Maoxian County for a while, there appeared on the left hand side of the road, and it was the attraction, so I quickly pulled over and parked, and there was a small parking lot. It is this village that there are no other tourists, the stall owners do not know where to go, but anyway, there is no ticket, no singing and dancing to greet, just look at the characteristic buildings. Although it is newly repaired, it still retains the characteristics of the Yi people. The Yi people are an ancient ethnic group native to Sichuan. There is no text and the cultural inheritance is difficult. I hope to protect the Yi culture well!

Visited on November 26, 2015, there are many people selling their embroidered hats, wallets and other crafts, many Dongzhai will pull the flag, maybe this is their characteristics.
